Unfortunately, this tour was extremely disorganized and disappointing. It started late and several different groups were randomly merged together with no clear structure, so the tour eventually turned into an Italian-only tour, with no consideration for the fact that there was a foreign participant in our group who didn’t understand anything (my partner) and that we specifically paid for an English tour . We also arrived late to the Sansevero Chapel, which meant the visit was rushed and lasted only about 20 minutes — basically a quick walk-through. Overall, everything felt approximate and poorly managed. We paid over 90 euros for this tour, and it was absolutely not worth the price. I would not recommend it.

Sul contenuto del lettura, l’esperienza è soggettiva per cui non mi soffermerò più di tanto. Aggiungo solo che le guide utilizzate sono valutate sulla loro preparazione e nessuna di queste ha una preparazione inferiore ad un livello eccellente. Per quanto riguarda l’accadimento del tour descritto dalla cliente, solo due precisazioni: la cliente NON ha acquistato un tour in inglese, ma un tour in italiano. È stata contattata varie volte dandole i dettagli del tour e dandole assistenza sul ritrovare il luogo di incontro sempre in italiano su di un numero italiano. Nemmeno una volta ha richiesto un’assistenza in lingua inglese né tantomeno un tour in lingua inglese, motivo per cui non ci è venuto nemmeno un dubbio sull’offrirle un servizio in inglese. Concludo dicendo che, avendo in questi giorni le guide tour in sequenza, possono avere dei ritardi in quanto ogni gruppo viene seguito fino all’esaurimento di ogni curiosità proposta. Può capitare che il ritardo sia superiore ai canonici cinque minuti, i clienti vengono avvisati e il tempo perso viene recuperato, sempre per garantire un servizio esauriente e completo ad ogni partecipante. La valutazione di questo tour rimane comunque imprecisa perché la cliente ha deciso alla fine di abbandonarlo appena uscita dalla cappella. La cliente è stata comunque contattata e le sono state fatte le scuse del fraintendimento.

When booking experiences like this you might not get the best tour guide. Our tour guide did his best but had only okay English. Giannis wasn't easy to understand and he lacked the English vocabulary for description of things. With extreme concentration I was able to learn a few details about what I was seeing but I'm sure I misunderstood details. The only plus with a guide is the ability to ask questions.

Gianni was a very knowledgeable guide who provided interesting details not only of the Pieta but also of the crypts and various other aspects of the museum. In the continuation of the tour after the museum, we visited several churches for which Gianni provided interesting historical details. Definitely a well done, worthwhile tour!

I was kind of surprised that everything was in one room. I guess i wasn't expecting that. However! This is the third place I have been to where pictures do not capture what your eyes can see. It was breathtaking. There were many pieces other than the famous three that were just as, if not more, impressive. Be prepared to keep your memory sharp, as there are no pictures of any kind allowed inside. The official gift shop at the exit is REALLY reasonably priced, so wait till you get there to buy your souvenirs. Our guide kept us in there a little longer than he should have and it was funny to watch the byplay with him and the staff. Definitely all in fun. After the cappella, we walked about the historic area and got an education on the various buildings and obelisks in the squares. It was an all around great tour.
