Beautiful day in Pompei and Sorrento

Excellent day experiencing Pompei and Sorrento. Some traffic issues caused a slight change from Amalfi to Sorrento, but our guides, GianLuca and Paulo, were able to guide us with the best use of our time.

NOT the fast train… 😫

The guide and driver were great but we started off the trip on a bad note. The train tickets sent to me the night before were NOT on the fast train. The train ride back to Rome was scheduled to take 3 hours. I asked about it and was told it was because that was all that was available, which was far from the truth. I ended up booking my own fast train tickets for the ride that only took an hour and 10 minutes. I booked this specific trip because time was critical and had I paid less, could have ridden in a bus… very disappointed and finally figured out why this excursion only had ONE review. Something that really bothered me and raised a red flag. Shoulda known there was something off. On a positive note… The guide was great and the driver and vehicle excellent.
