OK Trip to Toledo Avoiding Independent Train Travel

We had spent nights in Toledo before.Tour guide recommended that we do not do the Tourist Train, but to do her tour, so we paid 20 euros each extra to do so. Problem was we were constantly on the move with little time to take photos other than the designated stops. We felt rushed and we had no intention of having lunch, but we would not have had time anyway. I would call this a non stop whirlwind tour of Toledo, and would recommend seeing the Alcazar rather than the Synagogue, which was not really much to see. Also, the area where we were let loose for lunch was isolated with not many choices to eat.

Dear William, You bought our Toledo Full day on your own with a panoramic tour in the Tourist Train of Toledo. Given that you were already doing a bus panoramic tour with us, our guide gave you the option to upgrade your tour visiting 2 other monuments with the group, instead of doing the train panoramic tour, and you agreed with this. The 20 euros you paid was for the ticket to the cathedral with an inside guided tour. We are sorry that you regret to have made that choice and that you would have preferred to have enjoyed more free time on your own. The Synagogue you visited is a National Monument, and one of the highlights of the city. We agree with you that the Alcazar is also very interesting, specially for those people interested in the military history as it’s the Museum of the Army. Our tour stopped for lunch in an area with a few restaurants and shops for our travelers to choose the one they prefer. It’s great that you spent some nights in Toledo before. Website description does not meet the actual tour/product

The viator website description of the tour does not meet even close the tour we were provided. My family feels like it's a complete fraud. Our tour not only was too far from what is described on the website, it was "outsourced' to another company - Julie's travel. Awful!! And not a good business practice. At least our family and friends will avoid this company in the future.

Todos se pierden en Toledo

Toledo es un sitio encantador pero hay que caminar y mucho. Hay muchas subidas y bajadas, con muchas callecitas que invitan a perderse. Realmente un lugar que hay que visitar. De los tours que se ofrecen, les sugiero que hagan el del día completo. En cuanto a la empresa, Juliá Tours, fueron extremadamente impuntuales, tanto a la ida como a la vuelta.
