This was a once in a lifetime experience. We were small group of four visiting Tuscany and one of our bucket list. Activities was to do a wine tour. We preferred visiting smaller, local family run vineyards, and could not have asked for more. Rafaella, our guide met us in Luca and while in transport to the first winery, talked us through the local history in Luca leading up to the importance of Wine in the Tuscany area. As we were headed towards the first vineyard. The two vineyards we visited were absolutely stunning, and we had the opportunity to hear the history of these vineyards directly from the owners. It’s Tuscany so the wine tasting was fantastic, but the vineyards themselves were magical. I strongly recommend this tour as it truly was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Bravo! This was a wonderful relaxing afternoon away from busy Lucca. Tommuaso and Raffaele did the driving and shared so much information about the region and 2 family owned wineries and their processes. A delicious authentic lunch was provided in the middle of the vineyard and of course plenty of wine sampling through the day. Lovely views -- it was the highlight of our trip to Lucca!

Absolutely enjoyable day. Each winery/vineyard was unique with excellent, personable hosts who are authentically passionate about wine. All the tastings were exceptional and we were excited to order some bottles to have back home. Thanks to our wonderful, adorable guide, Raphael, wine maker Francesco and F.lil di Urbani guide Francesca. You all made the day perfect!

We had a great guide in Marco, he was knowledgeable about the area and the wineries we visited. We also got lucky with our tour companions who were 3 English ladies, one of whom lives in Gibraltar. The first place we visited was terrific - Tenuta Adamo. The rose was really good, vibrant but moderately dry with a hint of fruit. The white was also good but the slightly chilled Sangiovese blend was a strong follow up act and from there we went to more fuller bodied dry Sangiovese wines. All excellent. The second place we visited id rather not remember at all. It was small organic and the wine seemed second rate compared with the first place.
The tour is great but I’m hoping Marco and company switch out winery 2 for something better because then it really have would have been a 5/5 experience.

Very highly recommended! This is a fantastic tour in a beautiful part of Tuscany. The whole experience felt relaxed and homely, like spending a day with a group of friends. There was no rush at all; we could take our time and truly enjoy the wine and our surroundings.
We visited two local vineyards, and it was nothing like the big, industrial wine tastings that are often found on larger tours – this felt personal, authentic, and special. The wines were excellent, with generous and varied tastings, and the food pairings were more than just snacks – truly delicious and abundant.
Our guide, Tomasso, was exceptional. Down to earth, knowledgeable, and passionate. He gave a great summary of the region’s history and made the whole day feel warm and welcoming.
All in all, a memorable and genuine Tuscan experience. Don’t miss it!

This was a fun and unique small group wine tour. We were able to meet a farmer and his child to learn about the winery! We went to small family run wineries that were intimate and complimented each other well. Tomasso was a great guide who made the day special.

It was fabulous. Both vineyards were a delight & the food (bread with olive oil, meats & cheese) were a perfect accompaniment for the wines we sampled at both. It is an absolute must if you visit Lucca & love wine!! Transportation was really nice & guides very knowledgeable.

The first stop was great but the tour was scheduled for 10-2 awe got back at 6. It was a great tour but too long. We had other things planned. I would have been good with only the first tour. Guide was engaging and taught us a lot but there was a lot of repetition.

The tour finishes at 16.00 and, from our GPS on the van, Raffa was back in Lucca at 15.45… so we know that you are lying on the return time and we don’t understand why.
About the rest, we will improve on the repetitions, thanks for telling us!

Travelled with my husband, sister and her husband. We all agree that Tommaso lead a very informative and exceptional tour. He included in depth history of Lucca along the way. The wineries that were chosen touched all the senses. Beautiful wineries, and a lovely drive through the Tuscany countryside. The Tuscan wine tour was fantastic. Our guide, Tommaso, really made the day. Tomasso was an excellent host and guide. He is knowledgeable about the history and wines of Lucca. We toured two small wineries that produce organic wines. Both were excellent. One of the strongest aspects of the tour was meeting the wine makers and listening to them talk about their wines. The entire experience was first rate.

We have done many wine tours across the world, and this was one of the best. It was fun, and we got to know the vineyard owners in a relaxed and warm setting. We chose the Colline Lucchesi (Lucca hills) tour, and had lunch together. The winemakers are passionate, serious and fun and you have their full attention during your time with them; that is to say the tour is done in intimate settings. The hills are beautiful and so the tour overall is a must. Can’t say enough good things about Tomasso, Francesca and Francesco, the quality food and most the wine.

The Tuscan Wine Tour was a wonderful addition to our trip to Italy! Our guide, Tomaso, was extremely friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable. He quickly had the group engaged and relaxed.
The wineries we went to were beautiful - even though we had a rainy day - each of the stops made us welcome and shared not only their wonderful wines, but honey and olive oil as well. This is truly a must-do event for any range of wine connoisseur you may be!

Thomas was a wonderful tour guide and is passionate about Tuscany in general, and the wines, food, culture in particular. He was very kind and friendly while escorting us to two small, quaint wineries. It was wonderful seeing a very traditional winery compared to one run by a younger winemaker who is experimenting with newer techniques. Both wine tastings were fantastic, with the host being very open and helpful and the lunch at Francesca’s winery was amazing. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

We had the best day because of the tour guide Raffaele who informed us about Lucca and the wines of the regions. The winery's we went to were amazing. The last one Tenuta mareli was amazing we had a table fit for a king with wines homemade food and the strangers in our Tour became very good friends esp with Raffaele. One of the best days. 👌 and ❤️
