Top Lucca Wine Making Workshops in 2026

Unravel the secrets of Tuscan cuisine with a local chef in Montecatini Terme near Lucca, and learn to cook the region’s dishes. Taking place at the chef’s ancestral countryside olive press near a babbling brook and 12th-century stone bridge, the experience includes a market visit, tasting session, cooking class, and 4-course lunch—created with your own hands. Regional wine and an insight into Tuscan cuisine and culture complete the experience.

Discover the secrets to turning out fresh pasta and classic tiramisù like a real Italian 'mamma' with this home cooking class. Join a local cook in her kitchen and learn how to make two different types of pasta from scratch, then try your hand as assembling a creamy tiramisù under her careful guidance. Top off your class with a family-style lunch or dinner featuring the dishes you've created together.

Take a break from sightseeing and head to the hills surrounding Lucca to sample the area’s excellent wines. Connect with a winemaker at a boutique winery for a relaxed private tour through the vineyards and cellar, with plenty of time to ask questions about the history and production of the local vintages. Then relax on the terrace overlooking the rolling countryside to sample the estate’s wines and olive oil while enjoying the view.

Immerse yourself in local culture as you prepare a traditional Italian meal under the guidance of a Cesarina—an Italian certified home cook. Finally, join your host for a delicious lunch or dinner, accompanied by a selection of Italian wines.
