- In colder months this tour takes place in the morning for better light and temperature conditions. Gelato will be replace with a cake and coffee and there can be changes to stops due to different winter time openings.
- This is mainly a biking tour, the best way to discover the whole city of Lucca especially the less known sights. Food and drink are included to give a relaxing break along the riding.
- In case of rain we can not cancel the tour but we can give you the option to have a walking tour with the same itinerary.
- Children are considered only if under 12 and they will have a children bike and a children menu

Our guide Luca ( yes that was his name) was a local and excellent. He was proud to share the history. This little town is so beautiful. Family friendly. kids playing, moms walking babies in strollers and music on the side walk by local artist. The tour included a stop for wine and Aperitivo, then more riding and a stop for gelato. Luca knew all the local spots. After we walked around town and went in the church where it is said the have the real face of Jesus. It was under reconstruction but they had informative info on it.

We had a wonderful time biking around Lucca. Claudia was a wonderful, friendly, and informative guide. She offered a great perspective of the history of Lucca as well as offering suggestions for further sight seeing in the area. It was a nice way to spend the day. The two stops for refreshments were amazing. We completely enjoyed the experience.

We loved this tour in Lucca with our guide Luca! We booked a private tour for 9- 4 adults, 4 kids aged 9-12 and one Grandma. We loved it all! Easy, approachable biking and super attentive guide! We loved the snacks and food in the square and ending with gelato. We got to see so much of the city and save our walking legs. This was the perfect day trip activity from Florence.

Our tour guide, Chiara, is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We learned a lot about the city, history, and culture. Our food and wine stole a so enjoyable ina great area of the city. The bikes are in great shape and new. We would highly recommend.

Biking is definitely the best way to explore Lucca for the first time! The city Is very bike friendly, making it easy to experience all of the beautiful sites.
Our guide, Luca, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and provided a lot of insight on what it's like now. He was very friendly, engaging, and knew a lot of people in the town.
The restaurant and pasticceria we visited were great local spots with delicious food.

What a wonderful experience our whole family had! Even though it was a very busy Sat. in Lucca, we were able to ride through the streets and up on the wall in a comfortable easy pace. Our guide was amazing and taught us a lot about the history of Lucca. Enjoying a mixed board of meats and cheese as well as a gelato at the end, made for a perfect ride. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fabulous way to see Lucca on top and inside of the walls! Our guide Sarah was pleasant and knowlegable about Lucca history and the sites we were seeing. Biking around the areas made it fun. The food and gelato was an extra treat! We would highly recommend this tour to get an overview of Lucca and its history.

Luca led our group of 8 expertly through the city. The biking was easy - only a few small “climbs” just to get back up to the walls, so don’t worry about needing a lot of skill on two wheels! We learned a lot about the history of the city, the walls, and Tuscany in general. A highlight of our trip to Italy - book with confidence!

This tour is a must-do when visiting Lucca! The bike ride provides a balance of history, views of the city, varied stops, and delicious food. Plan to park just outside the bicycle tour stop, easily accessible outside of the city's walls. Our tour guide, Antonella, was amazing. She shared history all along the route, pausing often for us to stop, look around, and ask questions. We explored below one of the ramparts, giving us inside access to the wall in a unique way. We had time for a little shopping before enjoying a filling appetizer stop and glass of wine. The tour went both on the wall and into the city without taking us into overly crowded areas. We had options about which areas to explore and plenty of stops for pictures. Our final stop was for gelato, a delicious way to end a memorable experience! For this ride, we did not have electronic bikes. There are a couple of hills throughout the tour as you ride up to the wall, so be prepared for doing some pedaling up inclines. Plan to bring your own bottled water. Each bike has a basket for your belongings and a map of the city for reference. Our guide, Antonella, went above and beyond to share her love of Lucca. She gave us recommendations for dining and suggestions on where we might park for free for future trips to the city. This tour offers a relaxing way to see the city with a local guide; definitely add it to your list if you are traveling in the area!

We enjoyed the first tour in October so much we booked again and had Antonella as our guide both trips. She is absolutely lovely. She is a Lucca local. Her love and passion for the FREE city of Lucca is a whole vibe of its own. The ride is easily navigable and beautiful. Without the tour you have no idea of the deep history of the tiny titan of a city.
Once inside the walls, she explains the many facets that make this great City incredible. We also stopped inside the colosseum for local meats and cheeses, local wine and then onto gelato. I loved it! Book with Antonella for the best experience and draw from her knowledge.
