Loved all destination , the ferry was lovley then on to Osborne house with beautiful gardens , a bit of sunbathing on shanklin beach 🏖 with the lovley hot 🥵 weather and then on to stunning village godshill with beautiful church and some shoping for garlic Choclate in quaint little shops and ended the day with tea and scones highly recommended.

We had a good day out in Isle of Wight. One day is not enough to explore the island, too many beautiful sceneries to see. Steve, our tour guide is very friendly and really knows all around the area. We really appreciate all his efforts to show us around.

Our driver, Brandon, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was proffessional and organised. Anderson tours on the other hand have not replied to an email that I sent requesting confirmation that we were on the tour and that most of the tour was spent on the side of the road waiting for a tyre repair unit to change the punctured tyre. A response and a refund from Anderson tours would change the review from terrible to good, as I realise that breakdowns occur ,b the way they are handled imakes the difference.

Hello Joan Thank you for your review and it is very unlucky that this tour was hindered by a flat tire in the afternoon. Unfortunately the Isle of Wight is quite rural and as it was a Sunday, getting a mechanic out to fix it was difficult. This meant that you missed the the second half of the tour as we had to return to the mainland to get it fixed. Therefore a 50% refund was approved for all customers and you should have been notified about this through the Viator messaging system. Long trip in Isle of Wight

It was a very long trip starting at 7:15 and ending at 21:00, but we were able to enjoy it thanks to the guide's explanations. There were many things to see on the island, but we didn't have enough time, so we were able to freely travel around Osborne for 1.5 hours, Shanklin for 1 hour, and Godshill for 1 hour. You should be careful when choosing this trip as the travel time is very long.

Dear Customer Thank you for your review and it is a long day. We have to get to the port in good time to get the ferry over to the island, adding a fair amount of travel time on to the day. However its nice to be on the water, sailing across to the Isle of Wight and watching the action in Southampton Docks. From giant cruise liners to historic sailing ships, its a fascinating sight. Osborne House is lovely with beautiful grounds and gardens and then its on to the beach. Its for a short time only but when you come from the city its a joy to paddle in the sea and walk on the sand. The itinerary was enough for us to see a glimpse of Isle of Wight considering the time. You cant tour the island for one day but at least we were able to see some amazing spots, see what the island looks like. The tour guide was very informative and cheerful too.

I wouldn't recommend the day tour as you typically get around 5 hours on the island out of a complete day travel. May be you should go for a two day trip as just a couple of hours time doesn't do justice to what island has to offer. Also, the tour vehicles at just two places to explore around which you can easily do on a public transportation saving a lot of money and a lot more freedom than what you get with this tour.

It makes for a long day and you only see a part of the island. The town is pretty crappy but the beach is nice. It would be better to skip the town and just go to the other sites. They make a big deal out of wanting your money because that is how they survive but they only sell junk and the food is terrible.

Only thing is that you Drive through London in the morning for an Hour to pick up people before you start going, Meeting at Earls Court for everybody would make more Sense and save a lot of time. Tour manager was very good and friendly. ITs just very short time to manage everything. The Needles was amazing views but because of short time we couldnt go for chair lift as there was a big queue and we had to be back by 14:00 even though later on we found out some other people went for that and we had to wait 15 mins more for them. Overall it was good.
