Hop aboard your air-conditioned coach at London's Victoria Coach Station and settle in for the journey west to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Nobody truly knows the origins of this ancient stone circle, but with a history shrouded in mystery, it remains one of England’s top visitor attractions.
On arrival at the site, pick up your free audio guide and begin exploring independently. Listen to the various theories behind the stones’ curious formation and imagine the uses to which the site could have been put 5,000 years ago.
During your visit, stroll around the 40-ton (36-tonne) stones and wonder how they could possibly have been carried here thousands of years ago. Capture the rock formation through the lens of your camera and admire the bluestone rocks in the interior of the circle. With the evidence laid out before you, come to your own conclusions regarding their significance to the site.
When it’s time to leave Stonehenge behind, hop back aboard your coach for the return journey to London, where your tour will come to an end at the same place it began.

Was recommended this experience by a friend and it did not disappoint! the bus picked us up from Victoria coach station right on time, our guide was great and handed out the audio guides when we got on. The drive there was pleasant and once in the country it was stunning. The extended time is worth it! we had time to take pictures, have a picnic, and get to visit the gift shop. Overall, i highly recommend this tour!

Tour is functional but good. Coach has WiFi and usb charger ports. Seats are fine but not particularly luxurious or much legroom.
No toilets onboard and there are no service station breaks, which is fine as long as you use the facilities before travel.
2 hours at stonehenge which was enough time to see everything if you don't dawdle. It's a long trip even without traffic, but a good option to visit from London.
Know that the trip back will take longer because of traffic in London. However, the bus assistant needs to wait until ALL the passengers are gathered together before giving instructions and speak LOUDLY. We were towards the back and could hear nothing. Had to fond someone in the area to direct ys

It was wonderful! I made sure I purchased the extra time option and it was definitely worth it! Even with the extra time I barely got back to the bus before we left!
I took the walking path to the stones, but there is a shuttle. Trust me the walk is worth it! The landscape is breathtaking, and there are sheep! I hope you dont mind the sheep droppings. There was traffic on the way back, but that is not the teams fault. However, I definitely recommend not scheduling any reservations for immediately after returning. Make sure you schedule to allow for a hour or two delay just to be safe.

I would really have liked to have had a guide to talk to us on the bus about what we might be seeing along the way and some information about Stonehenge before we got there.

It is a long way to go and for us we had very bad traffic. The traffic resulted in us arriving late, reducing the time had at Stonehenge. We had to rush to make it to the bus in time to get back to England. We felt the time at Stonehenge should not have been reduced.

The bus boarded orderly and left on time. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work and only one type of charger could be used, making for long trips to and from.
The self guided audio tour was very helpful and informative, but it appeared this free app could be available for anyone.
It was pricey, but this historical site is a must see if given the opportunity.

Instructions on where to find tour operator would have been helpful ahead of time, we were ok as we got to the station early. Host and driver were very friendly. Bus was nice, new and cool on a very hot day but very very uncomfortable seats - I know how that sounds, I was not expecting a lazy boy, but the seats were hard as a rock which killed my back on the two hour ride there and two hour ride back. I feel like this was an expensive tour for a bus ride as this is not a guided tour (you can download an app that tells you a bit about Stonehenge) took a whole of 10 minutes to walk around Stonehenge and that was it. I wouldn’t necessarily deter you from the trip but we aware that you get a bus ride there and back (no bathroom) and enter to Stonehenge - that’s it!

We enjoyed our trip to Stonehenge a lot. It was a great way to get to the site without having to navigate a rental or other means of transportation. The two hours on site was plenty of time to take the shuttles to the rocks and still grab lunch at the cafe. Our only concerns were that 1. the checkin at the bus station was hard to find at first, disorganized, and a little hectic, and 2. the seats in the bus were uncomfortable as the bus was probably not designed for such a long ride. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we'd recommend others to use this service.

It was nice for what it was. It was, basically, just transportation to and from Stonehenge with an audio guide tour. If you’re looking for a fuller experience book something else. Maybe something that stops elsewhere along the way and has a guided tour. This was a six hour day with four hours spent traveling to and from. I think now I probably should have opted for a 10 hour day or an eight hour day with other stops along the way.

It’s a long half day drive but I’ve wanted to see Stonehenge since I was a little girl and it was worth the wait. Food choices onsite were ok, guide provided WiFi and it’s worth it to download the app for the tour before you need WiFi. It was informative and allowed us to participate on our own. You see it from every angle so it’s pretty cool. Coach was ok, not super comfortable and only one charger worked it was pretty cramped but otherwise fine for the drive.

We understood that the temperatures would be a bit high, so we went prepared with sunscreen, hats, an umbrella because our excursion was in June. I don’t need to talk about the actual stones because for us it was amazing to experience and see them. My biggest complaint would be with the crew of Evan Evans who managed the trip; as other Tours, for being ushered to luxury buses, we received the worst bus because it was a double-decker bus like hop-on hop-off. Truly uncomfortable, and for a five hour journey the least they could’ve done was gotten us a better more comfortable bus.
A lot of traveling; a lot to learn not met.. we traveled a total of 5-6 hours and Stonehenge was amazing but there was so much to learn that was not covered. Who were the Druids, for example?

On the bus ride to Stonehenge, there were no vents circulating air so it was hot & stuffy. I used CHAT to notify Viator of this matter. Someone on board did immediately address the issue & got the vents working but the air was so cool that we were all freezing & grabbing for jackets we did not bring along - unfortunately. “Climate control” should have been someone’s responsibility - the comfort of your patrons should be a top priority. At Stonehenge we were given ear phones & an audio gadget so we could do a self-guided tour of the monument. Of the 5 in our group, only 2 were able to hear the presentation. One gadget simply died, 2 others kept changing from English to Italian. It would have been far more beneficial to have had 2 guides from Viator join our bus & give a personal presentation. We returned home & Googled “Stonehenge” to get the information needed to better understand what we’d just seen. Ps - Our bus driver did a great job maneuvering safely through morning rush hour traffic. Much appreciated.
Bus went bad and it was hot in the bus. Wasted 1.5 hrs in the bus and the guide wouldn’t use microphone to communicate with travellers
Tour itself was good, your company was disorganized. Bus broke down, no communication with guests. After 30 minutes it broke down again. Waited again finally after people complained, they announced another bus was coming but not sure when it would arrive. First bus has no bathroom facility. After 2 hour delay we again got started. We drove about an hour to a comfort stop. They gave 5 minutes for restroom break but didn't know where it was. A double decker bus full of people and find bathroom on your own and 5 minutes.
Once we got to Stonehenge, everything was good. Finally arrived back in London 3 hours later than we were supposed to. Almost missed our next activity. No apologies for 6 hours tour to take 9 and the inconvenience it caused.
We enjoyed this trip, but you need to be aware that Stonehenge is a long way fro London and mkst of the day is spent in the bus. We had 2 hours at Stonehenge which was enough. Make sure to catch the shuttle as it is a 2km walk from the visitor centre to Stonehenge. Fortjnately it was not too crowded on the day we went but there was a constant stream of coaches arriving. Our coach was very comfortable, double decker and not crowded. Pleaes be aware that arrival back into London will be much later than the 3.30pm on the information. We did not get back untip 5pm.
A bucket list trip for me so happy to do the traveĺ time.

It’s convenient and definitely worth seeing. Make sure you have a cellphone and earbuds as the audio guide is downloaded to your phone. There was no commentary along the way. The guide was clear in his few directions for timing. A good way to see an impressive site.

The timing was great. Not too early in the morning. I wish the app would’ve told me which gate the bus left from. The “meeting place” only said the bus station. I had to ask in the app which gate. Two hours at Stonehenge is the right amount. Enough to see it and the visitor center, gift shop, and a bite. This didn’t disappoint.

Was not notified that we were scheduled on the opening day of parliament and that some bus routes changed and many streets were closed. So we left our hotel one hour early for a 15 minute trip. 45 minutes later we were 10 blocks from our hotel and the cab driver said we were still 40 minutes from the meeting point. We called customer service and they said if we get there after the starting time the bus will have left and we would not get a refund.
I think the tour company should notify guests about things happening in the city that they operate so customers could plan accordingly. And… will all of the money you take in from this tour. You could certainly afford to provide us a refund! Our once in a lifetime trip to London was negatively impacted by this experience. You could have made a difference in our experience. IO will not recommend your company to other travelers. Many other organizations offer trips to the beautiful spot of Stonehenge.
The transport was the problem. We were supposed to have a coach but we ended up with a city bus modify to carry more people. So we were very unconfortable for 2 hours. I did not have enough space for my legs.
This is an awe inspiring experience. Well planned and executed with very approachable guide -MJ. It was also a beautiful day which certainly enhanced the experience.

This tour was about 4 hours round trip travel with 2 hours to walk around the site, etc. You could circle the stones, take videos and photos and experience the site in your own way. I recommend taking the gold shuttle to the site rather than walk as it saves time. Basically Evans Evans took care of getting you there and your entrance was handled so easily. I highly recommend this tour.

I was worried about the negative reviews but my experience was a positive one. the day before, I called to confirm that the meeting point was indeed Victoria Coach Station, gate 1.
The moment I entered I saw staff from Evan Evans Tours who greeted us. the bus left punctually at 930am. we ended up returning at around 415pm instead of 330pm purely due to traffic conditions.

A “Half day” trip is not really a half day trip. we boarded the bus at.9:15am and did not return to St. Pancras bus terminal until 4:40 PM. We Completely missed out on our afternoon plans plans with friends and frankly, this should have been advertised as more of a day trip. The facilities were not functioning. Also, getting to the bus and finding the bus terminal was not easy. There was no proper signage / directions from the San Andreas train station to San Andreas bus station. It’s very confusing due to the fact. that there are many buses at the St Pancreas main station itself.
