Hop aboard your air-conditioned coach at London's Victoria Coach Station and settle in for the journey west to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Nobody truly knows the origins of this ancient stone circle, but with a history shrouded in mystery, it remains one of England’s top visitor attractions.
On arrival at the site, pick up your free audio guide and begin exploring independently. Listen to the various theories behind the stones’ curious formation and imagine the uses to which the site could have been put 5,000 years ago.
During your visit, stroll around the 40-ton (36-tonne) stones and wonder how they could possibly have been carried here thousands of years ago. Capture the rock formation through the lens of your camera and admire the bluestone rocks in the interior of the circle. With the evidence laid out before you, come to your own conclusions regarding their significance to the site.
When it’s time to leave Stonehenge behind, hop back aboard your coach for the return journey to London, where your tour will come to an end at the same place it began.

This tour was about 4 hours round trip travel with 2 hours to walk around the site, etc. You could circle the stones, take videos and photos and experience the site in your own way. I recommend taking the gold shuttle to the site rather than walk as it saves time. Basically Evans Evans took care of getting you there and your entrance was handled so easily. I highly recommend this tour.

I was worried about the negative reviews but my experience was a positive one. the day before, I called to confirm that the meeting point was indeed Victoria Coach Station, gate 1.
The moment I entered I saw staff from Evan Evans Tours who greeted us. the bus left punctually at 930am. we ended up returning at around 415pm instead of 330pm purely due to traffic conditions.

A “Half day” trip is not really a half day trip. we boarded the bus at.9:15am and did not return to St. Pancras bus terminal until 4:40 PM. We Completely missed out on our afternoon plans plans with friends and frankly, this should have been advertised as more of a day trip. The facilities were not functioning. Also, getting to the bus and finding the bus terminal was not easy. There was no proper signage / directions from the San Andreas train station to San Andreas bus station. It’s very confusing due to the fact. that there are many buses at the St Pancreas main station itself.

Very poor communication from the tour company. The directions to the pick location gave a generic location and we were there 25 minutes early. Had to contact the tour company through chat and that is when they told to go inside to a gate. Arrived at the gate at the pick up time and the bus had already left. They knew we were there and left us there. We were traveling with a person in a wheelchair and it makes me wonder if they didn’t want to deal with us. They are refusing to give a refund or an opportunity for a future tour. Note that Viator provided no support. I will not use either companies in the future and I do travel a lot. We have traveled all around the world and have done many tours this was the first time we have ever had this happen.

You meet at a bus station, where a lot of other tour groups meet and it's a bit confusing to find where you're supposed to be. Give yourself plenty of time to wander around asking. The bus we were on was not completely full, if it had been, it would have been fairly uncomfortable. It also took 2 hours to get there with traffic.
The bus takes you right to the welcome station for Stonehenge with a gift shop, restrooms and cafe. There, you can get on a shuttle that takes you right up to Stonehenge. You get an audio tour of the monument which is educational but you don't have much time to explore if you want time to get lunch, go to the restroom and shop. The cafe is absolutely packed and getting anything fresh was out of the question.
On the way home, for almost an hour and a half, the AC was barely working on the bus which was very uncomfortable. Also, the bus dropped us at off at a totally different place than was listed in the description. Which made us late to our next reservation.

Was recommended this experience by a friend and it did not disappoint! the bus picked us up from Victoria coach station right on time, our guide was great and handed out the audio guides when we got on. The drive there was pleasant and once in the country it was stunning. The extended time is worth it! we had time to take pictures, have a picnic, and get to visit the gift shop. Overall, i highly recommend this tour!

We had an incredible trip to Stonehenge, and visiting this historic site was an unforgettable experience, even though it was pouring rain when we arrived! Luckily, the rain stopped long enough for us to fully enjoy the site and take some photos.
A few things to note about the tour: it departs from Victoria Coach Station, not the Evan Evans location. Although it’s advertised as a half-day tour, it ended up taking much longer due to traffic. Once you arrive at Stonehenge, you need to take a shuttle bus to get closer to the stones. After getting off the shuttle, there are no clear signs pointing to the stones, and since they aren’t immediately visible, it can be a bit confusing, especially in torrential rain! Still, we managed to find our way.
Our on the bus guide, Sara, was very helpful and knowledgeable. She guided us to the shuttle buses but remember, this is a self-guided tour of the site. We were provided with headsets that gave us a detailed history of Stonehenge.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour! The English countryside is beautiful, and the journey itself adds to the charm of the experience.

There were 2 meeting locations for this tour sent to me which was extremely confusing. We went to the first address but it was wrong. Staff in the Evan Evans office informed us to go to the other location. We were told we would make the tour. We ran and arrived for 10:30 tour at 10:34 but the bus left without us. Viator refused to reschedule us for later that day or a different day. They also have refused to refund us. We have lost out on seeing Stonehenge & $200. Unfortunately we will not use Viator again due to this negative experience.

The experience of Stonehenge was spectacular.. This tour was pretty much just picking you up and getting you there.. with recorded listening devices once you were there. I’ve come to expect more from Viator, as most of our experiences have been spectacular.. Nothing went wrong or poorly, I’m just use to a more guided experience with Viator..
One major negative point.. You are showing two pick up location.. That was not the case for us. The first address is their office.. we had to hustle to the second location to make our bus.. Victoria Coach Station.

Overall, Stonehenge was a cool place to visit and the guided audio was nice but the meeting place was confusing. Two locations were listed and it was hard to get in touch with the right person to confirm the final meeting spot. Me and my friend almost missed the coach to get to the tour. It would've been helpful for just one location to be listed since the other location was not the right meeting spot. Other than that, the tour was nice.

Stonehenge is one of the GREAT mysteries of history - for that only, must you go.
With this trip, you get a coach with wifi and ports to the site, access to a shuttle bus from parking lot to the site and the access pass - trust me, it’s worth it.

The bus ride was great and our tour operator was helpful and kind. There was absolutely not enough time at Stonehenge. We had no idea the lines in the shop or cafe would be so long. We felt rushed and could’ve used another hour. Plan accordingly before booking this trip.

Stonehenge was amazing. Unfortunately you spend far too little time there. I would have loved to have been there another hour. I was expecting the drive to be 2/3 of the entire trip, It ended up being more like 3/4 of the whole trip. And was an hour late getting back. Also departure location on voucher was different than actual departure location. It's at the bus terminal, not the tour store. I wouldn't also consider it a half day tour. It really is a full day. Don't try to set up another event on the same day. We almost missed our night time event due to this one running late.

The drive out was pleasant and we’re glad to have a washroom on board the bus. We arrived at Stonehenge with our audio guides and clear instructions to take shuttle there and back., Audio guides were given and it was nice to wander at your pace

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour to Stone Henge. We appreciated the audio tour as we traveled through the city and countryside and at Stonehenge. We felt we had plenty of time to see the site and have a bite to eat at the visitor center.

It is a good trip for someone wanting to see Stonehenge without worries of arranging travel etc separately as everything is arranged from travel to tickets and I found it easy to focus on just enjoying the monument and surroundings. I opted for a half an hour walk back to visitor centre instead of shuttle bus as the weather was nice and there was a bit of a queue to the shuttle but the shuttle was definitely good to get from the visitor centre to the monument maximising the time spent around the monument. I felt that overall time left to view and take photos etc was sufficient but barely, suggesting this extended trip for anyone who does not like being rushed.
