Itinerary
Make your way to Parliament Square, where this tour begins, and meet a guide and group for the walk to the first location of the day, the Millennium Bridge. In Harry Potter’s world, "Brockdale Bridge" (as it is called in the series) is targeted by Death Eaters.
Next, pass by Westminster Abbey on your way to Cecil's Court, the inspiration for "Diagon Alley", to admire its 17th-century architecture and spot the entrance to the "Leaky Cauldron" pub where witches and wizards would gather in the books and movies.
Throughout the tour, your guide will share the magic behind the film locations, and how the real-world London cityscape helped inspire the books. This Harry Potter walking tour concludes at "Platform 9¾" at King's Cross—the last stop before Hogwarts. Here you'll have a chance to snap a photo wearing a Gryffindor scarf and browse for Harry Potter souvenirs at the nearby shop.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Max, was exceptional, fun, and delightful. He explained the scenes filmed at various locations thoroughly, and in between locations he gave us great insight into historical London landmarks and history.
We were also supplied with a receiver and headphone so we can all hear the guide easily without him having to yell at us and over traffic
It’s worth the money for sure. Only thing I advise is to get an oyster card to travel the tube because we take it a few times throughout the tour, and we also took it to get their and get home.

Our family loves Harry Potter, but was not able to get tickets to the studio. This is the next best experience. Our tour guide was terrific. She even brought pictures to remind us of the scenes. This is a walking tour so be prepared to walk! We would do it again.

There were none. Not only was it raining, the address on the ticket was not the address on the website. We didn’t get to even see the tour and the tour guide offered no help or alternative and refused to refund. STAY AWAY!

We had a beautiful day in London for the walking tour. We really liked seeing multiple London sights, the spots specific to Harry Potter were a bit underwhelming if you’re a die-hard fan, but most everyone seemed to appreciate the locations. James was a friendly guide and really engaging with the kids!

We felt there could have been a lot more to this tour, even just fun/interesting facts about the filming that took place in London to fill in the walking time. The tour also says you see the Millennium bridge - but you don't. They take you to a vantage point and say, "it's not the bridge you can see, it's the one behind the bridge blocking it". Our guide was friendly and we liked the couple of spots that held familiarity with the films but found it pretty underwhelming. You don't go to the actual platform 9 3/4, just close to, which we thought was a bit misleading. They take you to the place which inspired the Leaky Couldron but it's now a Mexican restaurant and holds no familiarity.

We loved visiting locations where the films were shot, combined with John's excellent historical commentary on what we were seeing. My only complaint was that we spent so much time taking the tube from place to place. There was also a LOT of walking, and it was difficult for grandparents and a 9 year old to keep up.

Our tour guide, Simon, was amazing! I knew next to nothing about Harry Potter, but was there for my teenage grandson, who is a fan, so I expected to just sort of enjoy the walk. Simon made the tour and sites so interesting, though, that I am looking forward to actually watching the movies or reading the books in the future. All of the younger participants were enthralled as Simon engaged them in trivia questions, helped us figure out which "house" we fit in, and described how movie set directors changed what we were looking at into what was seen in the films, with great photos to compare to. The personal audio equipment made hearing everything possible on the noisy London streets. It was the highlight of my grandson's visit to London!

Great tour if your not a Harry Potter fan. You have to get tube tickets and be prepared to walk but you will see and learn more about London than the London in one day tour. You will also see some really interesting parts of London you wouldnt think about going to. Our guide was great. When you get to kings cross take time to explore and visit platform 9 3/4. You will be on your own from there so plan some things for your way back to the hotel!

Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable about both Harry Potter as well as the city of London. The tour included various spots that were used in the films as well as streets and landmarks that inspired various aspects of the movies. When we were not viewing filming locations, our guide we talk to use about the city and various landmarks that we came across. You take the tube twice during the tour to help get to some of the locations so make sure you have a travel card or a valid zone 1 ticket for the tube. The tour end at platform 9 3/4. I would highly recommend this tour for all HP fans.
