VERY knowledgeable tour guide - he was amazing! Lots of personal experiences with horses and the thoroughbred industry. The farms we were able to visit were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour of multiple horse farms. One had the ability to pet young ones being groomed for sale. Shawn was an outstanding guide.
Informative, personal, fun! Great guide named Jeff (I think) - he has first-hand work experience and shares interesting insights about the business and the horses. Beautiful farms and horses.
Valet parking a real plus.
Manchester Hotel offers a comfortable lobby for use prior to and after the tour with restrooms available off the lobby.
Sean Washington was incredible!! He was very knowledgeable and personable.
As I said to Sean, "I knew Lexington was the Horse Capital of the World, but you showed me why!"
Tour guide Shawn rolled out the red carpet for his guests. He displayed over-the-top knowledge and courtesy for the entire tour.
Our Unique Horse Farm tour was fantastic! Shaun picked us up promptly in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, and the entire morning went seamlessly. We absolutely loved being around the horses and feeding them peppermint was a treat. Shaun was incredibly entertaining, sharing great stories and fascinating facts about the horses and the industry. It was truly special getting an up-close look at how the foals are trained and visiting the barns to interact with the horses. To top it all off, the views were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

Jeff was amazing, grew up on local farms, tremendous expertise to share. What a great experience. Since we are not horse people we learned so much about this amazing industry and the people in it. Plus seeing the horses and farms is simply beautiful.
We had a wonderful time on this horse farm tour. Shaun was an excellent guide, so fun and very knowledgeable about the farms and especially the horses. The highlight for me was petting the yearlings and visiting the mamas with their babies. I highly recommend this tour and would go on it again.
This tour with Shaun was great! His knowledge about horses and the area was amazing! Plus his humor kept us not wanting to miss a word! We went to a private farm (which was beautiful), saw mares, fillies, yearlings, and a cute barn cat! We fed peppermint candy to the horses that they loved! On this tour you can pet and interact with the horses all you want! We went to the Keenland Track also, on our own, and did a walking tour for free. Keenland is beautiful, but if you want interaction take this tour!
This was absolutely everything I hoped it would be! Our tour guide Shaun was incredible! He had a wealth of knowledge that only someone how truly has been around horse racing his whole life would know. The countryside, horse farms and horses are all breathtaking. Would most definitely recommend this tour!!
I expected to be rushed and timed stops, on the contrary it was a relaxed environment that allowed time to spend with horses and enjoy the facilities. Shawn was very knowledgeable about the horses and the industry.

Small bus group tour led by a very personable local guide with many years of experience working with race horses. We enjoyed seeing a variety of working farms and having access to the horses.

Shawn was awesome! He was knowledgeable and kind! The horse farms were beautiful. This tour was a great way to get to explore central Kentucky.
This was a great 3 hour adventure! We had a relatively small group of 11 people. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had great stories to share about his personal life growing up on the horse farms and working with the horses. Would highly recommend!
The farms were exquisite. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We got to visit the insides of the barns and stables and pet the horses.
It was great. Jeff was sooo knowledgeable and shared personal experiences that made it special. I left the tour with so much knowledge I never had about Ky and horse breeding.

What a wonderful choice when researching tours while in Lexington. Not only was Shaun knowledgeable, but he was very personable and loved entertaining us with stories of the different stops. Thanks to both him and Ricky for a great time!
The tour was informative and entertaining. There were only about a dozen or so people on the van so the tour guide was able to field all of the questions.
This is an excellent tour. Jeff is so knowledgeable and a real entertainer. The horse farms are beautiful and it was so interesting to learn about them. The only issue we had was a change to the pickup place that we didn't receive but when we called the tour contact number the issue was resolved quickly. Great service!
Such a highlight on our weekend girls trip celebrating the bride to be! There was a group of 10 of us with Daniel. Daniel was so knowledgeable, kind, fun and had the best stories. He went above and beyond to make the day special for the group & the bride! We couldn't stop talking about the tour throughout the weekend and beyond! Highly, highly recommend this tour and Daniel as the tour guide. Truly an unforgettable day!!!
This was the best tour that I have experienced in a long time. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable and a very pleasant person. He went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. We saw many horses, got to feed them treats, saw mothers and newborn colts and meet owners of the farms.

our tour guide was friendly and accommodating. He was also knowledgeable regarding the Lexington area, in general, in addition to the horses and the horse farms. We were able to feed and pet some horses treats as advertised and were fortunate enough to interact with some of the people/workers associated with a couple of the farms. Unfortunately one can't choose who will be on your tour with you and we shared our bus with a family of downright rude adults who talked over the tour guide and otherwise showed limited interest in the tour, in general. However, we didn't let it spoil our pleasure. I would highly recommend the tour.
What an exceptional tour experience, especially if you have limited time in Lexington. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the farms we visited were just spectacular! The horses were so beautiful and getting the opportunity to feed them lots of peppermints was a definite highlight!!
