Ah man this was so much fun! We have never rafted before and we decided to do the intermediate and it was well worth it. It is not as bad as it looks. Highly recommend doing intermediate! Kurt was an awesome guide as well! Super friendly and awesome at guiding.

My daughter and I had the most incredible rafting experience! From start to finish, it was an absolute blast. Our guide, Aaron, was nothing short of amazing. He was confident, patient, and so knowledgeable. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe while also teaching us along the way. You can tell he has years of experience under his belt, and his calm, capable presence really put us at ease (even during the exciting rapids!). We left not only with big smiles and great memories but also with a new appreciation for rafting. Highly recommend this adventure. If you can, request Aaron!

Great guide, Kurt, checkin easy and pleasent. Rafting a fun time. Good equipment. Booking stayed 3 hours, transportation to and from launch site and pick up, rafting was only 2 hours. Disappointed to pay this fee and not meet the advertised experience for time.

Hi Melissa, Thank you for your feedback! Just to clarify the 3 hours time estimate is inclusive of the transportation, rafting time, safety orientation, gearing, and paddle lessons from the guides. The trip you chose, at this time of year, runs about 7 miles into what is known as the Lower Canyon of Clear Creek. Rafting time on the water is typically 1.5 -2 hours and can vary some based on conditions like water levels, group sizes, and traffic on the way to the river.

Avery was a great guide. He made us very comfortable even while we had no previous rafting experience and we had deliberately selected Intermediate level.

Guides are experienced and friendly. Water was good. Equipment was in good shape too. Great if you were a beginner. Still a fun trip for a more experienced rafter.

Great experience. Luke was a great guide, he kept us informed and kept it fun. It is a little ways from Denver and we were informed that we were lucky to get a ride home as we used Uber. So be care if you go that route

Beware! Terrible xperience! We reseved and paid 2 days in advance, planned the family trip and only when we got there we found out it was closed! We are waiting for refund but we lost a day in our trip, very bad experience.

Hi Santiago, We are sorry that you were not able to raft on your scheduled day. I sent a message attempting to explain how the water levels on Clear Creek can sometimes drop unexpectedly at the end of our season. We tried to reach out multiple times by text, phone, and the viator messaging system so that we could either cancel or transfer your reservation to our Colorado River location. Since we received no replies we had to cancel the reservation and issue a refund. Please reach out if you would like to discuss this further, we would be happy to try to find a way to make it up to you 844-291-4218.

I liked being able to paddle and be involved in the action and not just sitting, letting the guide do all the work. The rapids were perfect for our group, especially my 14 yo daughter who’s never been before. Russell was awesome and really knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrific rafting experience!! The rapids are definitely legit and our group of 6 were all able to be in one raft. Aaron kept us safe and got us through all the whitewater. There is a bus ride that was a touch longer than we expected (20-ish minutes) but Luke, our leader for the day, kept us entertained. The river is beautiful and there are some fun things like rafting beneath one of the rope crossings from the adventure center. We had a great time! What a great time on the rapids. Kennedy was our guide. She was excellent and knew the river. Everything with Downstream Adventures was top notch. From calling ahead to have our party on the same raft to checking in to riding 5 miles on Class 3-4 rapids. Great equipment and wetsuits that didn’t smell! Booties are a must! Lots of companies to choose from. Go with these guys!

Kurt was our guide and he was awesome! Definitely the guide to go with if you are up for trying some more adventurous things while out. This was the first time rafting for all of us in our group but was fairly easy and quick to learn.

This was a great trip for me and my teenage girls! Our guide Kennedy was so much fun and patient as our crew figured out the strokes : )
Would definitely come back. I recommend renting their booties in early spring/summer. Water was 40 degrees and our water shoes could only do so much.
