We were a group of 12 and had an absolutely wonderful time on this walking food tour of Florence.
Our guide, Lucia, was fantastic — funny, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable.
We started with some delicious bruschetta, then enjoyed a selection of cold cuts, followed by a perfect pasta course, and finished with amazing gelato. Each dish was paired with a delicious wine that complemented the flavors beautifully.
I had planned to take photos of all the dishes and wines, but we were having such a great time chatting, laughing, and savoring everything that I completely forgot! A true sign of a memorable experience.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves good food, good wine, and great company!

The tour guide was condescending and rude any time we tried to ask questions or engage in conversation. The last thing I wanted to hear about was her life for over two hours, which is what this tour turned into….

We had the best time on our tour. There were 4 of us. We walked all around Sta Croce and learned about Italian culture and food. Which brings me to the food and wine, which were sensational. Don’t miss out on the fun! PS our guide is a Sommelier, we were so lucky to have such a talented guide!

What a great way to start our trip in Florence. Guido was our guide and he was amazing. We went to several different places and tried bruschetta, cold colds, a traditional fried Florence food, pasta, gelato, and wine! Such a fun night, thanks Guido.

Guide, our guide, was pleasant, calm and knowledgeable. He spoke very fluent English. The food and wine were very good! Most of the stops were very close to each other. Water was offered at each stop as well. Gelato as a finale was the best I've had in Italy.

Our tour guide Guido was excellent at explaining the history and processes that went into each of the dishes that we tried, but also creating a fun, communal atmosphere that led to a wonderful evening. I can’t recall any bad dishes on the stops and the wine was great of course too!

This was a great tour. Our guide, Lucia (SP?), was very sweet and informative. She was relaxed and did not rush our group along, but kept us moving. This was also more than most walking food tours -- we had more than just "bites" along the way, but really had a full meal, along with great wine. Would highly recommend!

What a fantastic experience! My husband and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We took the tour with only one other couple who became friends after this shared day. Our guide took us to neighborhoods we never would have seen otherwise, including a market where locals shop for their ingredients. I could have stayed all day! My only disappointment was not getting a bite of the crispy, foot-long pork roast that had apparently just emerged from the oven. It was so perfect I didn’t believe it was real, until the butcher broke open the beautiful crispy skin with a sudden jab of his thumb! His pride and joy at my surprise was priceless—as was seeing the variety of meats and cheeses available in a local market.
We took the tour around 11 am and should have skipped breakfast. Our stops included wine (several actually), assorted antipasti (meats and cheeses), fresh bread from a bakery, fresh pasta (several choices, which we ordered and shared), and one of the best gelatos in Florence.
Our guide was funny and knowledgeable, and made the whole day memorable. I wish we had taken this tour earlier in our trip to get her recommendations for other restaurants and food stops to try. With so many phenomenal choices in Florence, a local’s suggestions are really helpful to make the most of a visit there.

A great mix of history, culture, food and wine. We strolled through Florence learning of its culture and people, indulging in wonderful cuisine, and getting tips for things to see for the rest of our stay in Florence. We did the food tour in the evening, and it made for a great night out. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time on our food walking tour with Lucia. She was very knowledgeable and so warm and personable. She was engaging and accommodating and she ensured that we were well fed. The various food stops and tastings (along with wine pairings) were delicious. We had a small group of 5, so it was perfect for Lucia to engage in conversation with all of us. Grazie Lucia for a lovely experience and evening.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent food tour we booked through your platform, which was scheduled to commence at 17:15. We had made this booking under the assumption that the tour would serve as our evening meal.
However, the day before the tour, we received an email from the provider stating the tour would commence at 10:00. This was a significant and confusing discrepancy. I immediately replied to seek confirmation of the correct time, but received no response. To avoid missing the tour altogether, we went to the meeting point at 10:00 just in case — fortunately, the guide was there with our names on the list.
While we did proceed with the tour, it was only a short time after breakfast, which completely defeated the purpose of it being our evening dining experience. The food itself was enjoyable — particularly the pasta and gelato — though starting with a tripe sandwich brought back some questionable childhood memories!
What added to the confusion and frustration was the string of SMS and email messages we received later that day asking where we were for the 17:15 tour. Adding insult to injury, another couple on our tour told us they were originally booked for the 17:15 session as well but had been told it was cancelled and were moved to the 10:00 tour.
Despite raising these issues with both Viator and the provider, I was offered no refund or even a partial reimbursement for the inconvenience and mix-up. This poor customer service and lack of accountability have left me extremely disappointed — so much so that this will be my final time using Viator for any travel or tour bookings.

Filomena was an attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable guide. We tasted some really amazing food, from Cornetto to pasta, excellent red and white wines and with a group of people that were very friendly and fun to hangout for 3 hours. Rain put a unique spin to the whole experience with above-our-heads thunder and pouring rain! Getting to know a little bit of each area's restorante history, the sampler wines and general city history was the cherry on top. This city and surrounding areas are so rich in history that a 3 hr tour can only scratch the surface.
I highly recommend to jump on this experience. It is fantastic!
