This mozarella making class was so much fun! Jess is very knowledgeable about cheese making techniques and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand as we prepared and shaped our mozarella cheeses. And you get a tasty snack after you are done making your cheese (and some delicious local wines paired with everything). My husband and I are so glad we decided to go on this tour, and would recommend it to anyone who loves cheese and loves to cook!

I was so excited my class didn't get canceled!! It was low season during my trip and other tours didn't fill up! I was just off a long flight and exhausted -- but soooo happy I took this class. Had no idea making mozzarella was "easy" but complicated at the same time - and fresh is SO much better! After expert instruction I was spoiled with pizza, charcuterie and my mozz!!

Cheese making course was super fun and thorough. Jess and Giuseppe explained every step of the way well and they’re just genuinely kind people. We learned how to make a few different shapes of mozzarella. The lunch at the end of the course included wine, meats, lasagna, bread, and tomatoes with the mozzarella you made. You get to take the rest home afterwards. They answered all my questions and had lots of recommendations for exploring Florence too. Had such a lovely time

I had never participated in a cooking class before, but this mozzarella making experience combined with wine tasting was extraordinary! The practical part of mozzarella making fascinated me: following the entire process from milk transformation to creating fresh mozzarella and stracciatella was educational and fun. The contrast between real artisanal mozzarella and what I had always eaten was incredible - the authentic flavor and silky texture are incomparable! The instructors guided us with expertise, sharing secrets passed down through generations. Tasting our fresh cheeses paired with selected wines created a complete sensory experience. A perfect activity for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Italian gastronomic culture. Highly recommended!

The best Italian Experience I’ve ever had

I admit I was reluctant when Laziz, my friend proposed this mozzarella making cooking class. I’m not a great cook and thought it would be too complicated. I was completely wrong! The instructors were incredibly patient, explaining every step of mozzarella making with clarity. In just a few hours we managed to create perfect mozzarella and creamy stracciatella. The difference in taste and texture compared to commercial mozzarella was a real revelation - I never would have imagined it could be so different! The wine tasting was a revelation: the organic wines paired perfectly with the fresh cheeses we had just prepared. It was a transformative culinary experience that I recommend to anyone wanting to learn traditional Italian techniques in a relaxed and fun environment.
