Great trip. Our guide was excellent explaining details about the city but never interesting with our enjoyment. Felt personal not strenuous paddling. We managed to hit a beautiful sunset over the ponte vecchio bridge as well.

It was a tiny bit confusing on where to meet. I do wish that there were signs however it was incredible. Doing it at sunset really made the experience amazing and it was an experience that I had never thought to even do.

Great way to see Florence from another angle, and get a little exercise. Dress for boating & the weather with appropriate shoes; be up for a little rowing (lesson provided); & have fun! It was a great way to end our trip.

A lovely calm activity to see a different view of Florence

A really great trip. After the excitement of shooting down the weir with a splash, we drifted down the river with minimal paddling and lots of info and history from our guide. It was a lovely calm break from walking the busy streets of the city. A little difficult to find as we were early and they operate from a van that hadn’t arrived.

My husband and I joined six other people, including two children, for delightful paddle down the Arno. Our guide and pilot was Zeno, a personable guy who got us completely ready to safely raft down the river. We went across the tiny rapids at the dam and then paddled under several Bridges, then turned around and came back to where we started. We saw the sunset, learned some interesting tidbits about Florence and her history, and generally had a great time. Highly recommended, and you don't have to be fit at all. (I am not!)

The Viator address was not correct. We stood 20 minutes in front of a burning hot apartment waiting, to find everyone down by the River after a phone call.

Our guide (Zeno?) was very friendly and kept my kids engaged. We went down a tiny rapid (lasted maybe 3 seconds?) and the rest was easy paddling. My 13 yo helped steer the raft towards the end which he thoroughly enjoyed. The sunset was beautiful floating along the river. Definitely would do again, but with a bottle of Prosecco next time!
