Your morning hot air balloon tour begins at your hotel (if transport upgrade selected when booking) or just outside of Florence, in the village of San Casciano Val di Pesa.

Meet your captain, crew, and fellow passengers at the launch site; after a brief safety overview, hop aboard the basket and float up over Tuscany's distinctive landscape.

Peer down at a scenic landscape of cypress trees, fruit orchards, and vineyards. From 2,000 feet (609 meters) up, enjoy aerial views of villages, castles, and the iconic Tuscan hills.

Glide back down to the ground and toast your fellow travelers with a glass of sparkling wine. Enjoy breakfast bites before returning to your hotel (if option selected).

Had a great time on this activity. The staff was professional and guided us through the activity. Early morning balloon ride gave an exceptional view of Tuscany. We had also arranged pick and drop off from our hotel. The pick up was right on time. I will be recommending this company to my family and friends.

LOVED THIS! Highly recommend! This was a highlight of our trip, we were all very excited to do it and we weren’t disappointed a bit. We were picked up promptly at 5:45am by a very friendly driver, driven to the launch site where we had to wait approximately 15 min. We did this in early May and it was beautiful and such a good experience, but it was cold while we were waiting to get on. We were all wearing jeans/leggings with sweatshirts and a jean jacket and still cold. But once we were on board, the flame warmed us up and it was a pleasant temperature. The pilot was very friendly and made it a very pleasant trip. When we landed we were brought to an outdoor area (thankfully it had warmed up to a comfortable temperature) where we had some champagne, pastries, cheese and meats. We also had an opportunity to buy pictures or a video (taken by a drone) of us in the air. It was such a good experience!

This was a very exciting experience. Seeing the balloons inflate them climbing aboard was fun. I’m giving 4 stars because the company packed too many people in The basket, I could hardly turn around not allowing me to see all sides of the landscape. Also, there was very little wind so we basically saw the same scenery for 40 minutes. I would have rather the company communicate to me the ride would be less extensive to give me option to cancel or not. They didn’t. It was a unique experience but not as great as I had hoped especially for the large price tag. It was not communicated that at end of the ride, we would spend about 45 min waiting for the crew to load the balloon basket & wait for the crew. We didn’t get back to original take off site until 9:25 am. We took off at 7:45 am. The very small breakfast was mostly bread, little cheese & few meats. It was ok, nothing special. I’m hesitant to recommend this ride simple because expectations were high.

We had the most amazing experience right from when we were collected at our hotel. Our pilot was super experienced and we had a very smooth and informed ride. The breakfast afterwards was also amazing with all the local food on offer. Definitely a must do!!

From the start to end, what an experience this was! My daughter wanted to do this and I wasn’t too excited about it lol once we met our pilot I felt more at ease. He was professional and experienced. The whole ride was smooth and some of the most breathtaking views! At the end they had a beautiful breakfast waiting for us! Book it you won’t be disappointed!!! Thank you all for this experience. Cancelled for weather when it was beautiful

We scheduled this excursion in advance and received a message from Renalto the day before our paid excursion, reporting the weather was bad and he had to cancel our balloon ride. However, the weather in Florence was beautiful today, with zero chance of precipitation and wind that was 4 mph from the southwest. When I reached out to Renalto to revisit our scheduled ballon ride, he did not respond to me. Neither have I been refunded for the $1200+ fee for 4 persons.

We are very sorry that the customer was unable to fly but we completely disagree with the review. The fact that the weather "was beatiful" is absolutely not sufficient to fly safely. Sometimes flights can be cancelled due to wind, sometimes due to rain, sometimes due to low visibility. Other times because there could be gusts of wind that could make take-off and landing dangerous. The morning in which the flight was scheduled, there was low visibility and fog on the ground and at altitude. Ours is a serious company that puts the safety of passengers and crews first. Before confirming the flight, our pilots consult the latest weather updates and with prudence we never want to put passengers at any risk. It is always better to be on the ground regretting being in the air, rather than being in the air and regretting being on the ground. We are certain that this is the best policy that we will continue to follow in the future. We also add that the day before the flight we informed the customer of the cancellation and offered to choose between a full refund and rescheduling the flight, but we did not receive a response. Today, as soon as the request was made to us, we immediately made a full refund. We will be happy to host your customers again on a day when weather conditions allow it. Best regards Renato

The hot air balloon tour was great, no complaints; The view is breathtakingly beautiful comedy only drawback is that the Sun makes it so that you can't take great pictures & videos. But only for 30 minutes or so. After that it's smooth sailing.

Guido and Renato were responsive and kept communication open from the time we booked the hot air balloon to the evening before, to keep us updated on the weather forecast and provide exact coordinates. On the day itself, all of the crew members were friendly and helpful. I did the hot air balloon with my sister and 2 other friends, and since it was their first time, they were initially a little afraid but the safety briefing provided by the pilot Gigi (Guido?) made them feel at ease and they enjoyed the whole experience a lot. Views were extremely breathtaking, and we were thankful to be able to take many wonderful pictures against the sunshine and blue sky. The mini breakfast that was provided after consisted of tuscan bread, cheese, prosciutto ham and cheese with champagne (there's OJ for those who do not take alcohol) was definitely a nice touch to the end of the experience. All in all, a very smooth and pleasant experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone thinking of taking a hot air balloon ride in Tuscany!

Magnificent flight

The whole experience was great. I booked the option to pick up from my hotel. The driver was on time and friendly. We got to the field to take off. They did pre-flight and scouted the area for fog. After a short wait for the fog to burn off, we were a go. Seeing Tuscany from a balloon is serene. The landscape is magnificent. They event for drone videos of our flight. The quality is very good.

We were very nervous doing this experience, as it was our first time riding in a hot air balloon. However the staff was very warm and friendly and made us comfortable. It's a one in a lifetime adventure. The ride was smooth and surprisingly the landing wasn't bad either. Nice breakfast afterwards and I opted for the video and pictures which was helpful in case you are worried about losing your phone in the air. Overall, great excursion.
