Don't believe the timeline given by Viator, except from the start hour everything can change depending on the museum tickets purchased by the operator.

DO NOT BOOK! During this 5 hour tour we were with the guide for a total of 1.5 hrs. The tour started at 11:00 am. We did not enter Academmia until 11:30am. We were done by 12:15pm and sent off for lunch. The second part of the tour started at 1:30 pm. The walking tour that was supposed to be 1 hr lasted 30 minutes before we were released to explore on our own. At 2:00 pm we were told to return at 3:00 for a tour of Uffizi Gallery. We waited until 3:45 pm and the tour guide never returned. We were waiting with all the other participants so it was not only us that could not find the guide. We called the tour company and they tried to call her but it just rang and rang. The tour was supposed to end at 4:00 pm so unfortunately we left. I contacted Viator for a refund/partial refund and they’ve refused. This was our second Viator tour in Italy this year and both were terrible experiences. We’ll never use Viator again.

Dear Lauren
Greetings from my tour in Italy team
We feel sorry to hear this review from you. We have investigated what happened.
First of all we want to specificate that this is a tour but with three parts: Accademia,
Walking and Uffizi . It is not necessary the same guide for the three stages since are different places.
The time of the Accademia tour is 11:15 so 15 minutes the guide withdrew the ticket and you entered inside.
The second part of the tour was walking tour, which started at 13:30 and ended at 14:30 and you had difficulty to find the meeting point.
The guide informed that you had 30 minutes free time and you will meet with her in the meeting point for the 3rd part at the Uffizi. We waited for you at the Uffizi, we also tried to contact you, we called at your phone number but you didn’t answer. The guide continued the tour with the other customers.
When you called us the guide was inside so she couldn’t answer.Since the Uffizi is 2 hour the tour has finished at 17:15.
The guide Manuela is one of the best guides, it’s the first time that she receive a negative review .
We feel sorry that you couldn’t do the tour, but the other customers were there without any problem, so we have follow the rules.
If you have something else to add you can contact us at : customercare@mytours.it
We remain at your disposal
Best regards

This was by far our favourite experience whilst staying in Florence. Our tour guide, Emmanuelle was fantastic! So knowledgeable about both galleries, the artwork and the city of Florence. She was incredibly interesting and we could have listened to her talk for hours. Both galleries are stunning and we are so glad we chose to have a guided tour.

Our guide was beyond amazing! She was informative, engaging and fun. She was like the teacher that every student in school was lucky to get.

Great tour I would recommend doing this at the start of your stay as the guide described many attractions not covered in the tour. Despite this the tour goes round the best the city has to offer.

If you are English speaking and you take any Viator Tours you need to understand that you are totally relying on their piece of paper that says where you will meet. When you are at any of the tours it is you and thousands of people who do no speak English and its not like you are going to a business. You are walking around trying to figure out where the snap you are supposed to be and hoping you run into someone else who is looking for them as well. Usually it would be finding a person who was wearing a shirt that said whatever the local tour company name was on it. It was like finding a needle in a haystack daily when we had tours. Several of the tours we missed because we never did find a person at the designated spot that our tickets would say.
We took 10 tours all from Viator during our two week honeymoon and we determined that we will NEVER use Viator again.
It was an amazing trip and we loved Europe but every travel frustration we had during the trip was caused by Viator bookings going wrong somehow.
The guides on the whole would take you so close to what you really wanted to see and then stall and talk about other stuff while you stood there wishing you could go around the corner to the actual thing you wanted to see.
On two of our tours in Italy we joined the other members of the tour in saying thanks but we are done with you and we set out on our own.
When you enter the museums you were not given a ticket by your guide. This was very frustrating because if you decided you wanted to stay there and look at more stuff you were not able because you didnt have a ticket. When we went to the Colosseum they told us twice we didnt have time for stopping but we could come back later. Then when we exited the area we were not able to come back without buying another ticket. Which we ended up doing.
At the David they spent 45 minutes talking about some piece of art until finally over half the group left to walk around to the David.

What a tour! You'll love Florence once you understand more about its history and art. Eleonora, our tour guide, has great skills to explain and to show true highlights in Florence. She is the type of smart woman you would love to be friends with, and an excelent spanish speaker. Grazzie Eleonora!

Best tour if you have only one day to spend in Florence!
