We had an exceptional tour with Laura. The entire day was very relaxing and we learned a ton from Laura touring through the museums. She was kind enough to direct us to the food market in Florence (which is terrific!) great memories, great day. Definitely recommend.

Francesca was an amazing guide. She balances her knowledge of art, history, religion, and politics with her fun personality. We learned so much and had so much fun.

Our tour guide Ana was excellent weaving us through the masses to see the most famous works with detailed explanations about the history of Florence, the Renaissance masters and the artwork

Art & Gelato in Florence

Amanda_A, Mar 2026
Leonardo was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! He was so knowledgeable and made every painting come to life with interesting stories! He gave us plenty of information without overwhelming us. We even stopped at his favorite gelato place between things. It was also very clear that he is a kind and honest person. At the museum entrances and around the city, other guides and workers knew him and definitely thought highly of him. It’s always nice to know you’re touring a city with a warm and kind person! Thanks, Leonardo, for a great day in Florence!

Manuela was wonderful....

Manuela was wonderful. She loves the art and history of Florence. She was a great communicator and very enthusiastic. We had a great time.

Spellbound

Lena_P, Dec 2025
The guide was brilliant in taking us to the most important sights, I wished the tour lasted longer than 3 hrs, to see more of the Uffizi, but truth is that one could have days and it would still not be enough. A fantastic tour.

Florence Art

Great information. They provided easy and quick access to the best viewing areas. Guide was well versed in art, artists, techniques, and overall information about important pieces.

The tour guys was excellent. However, I can’t remember her name. She made the tour. She was very knowledgeable and fun to be around

Really insightful tour guide

Mike_B, Oct 2025
Pam was terrific. She knows a lot of information about the art. I especially appreciated her pointing out hidden features of the sculptures in The Academia.

Uffizi & Academia Private Tour Exceeds Expectations

Hans_B, Oct 2025
We had the most incredible experience during our private tour of the Uffizi Galleria and the Academia Museum in Florence. Our tour guide, Ilaria, was nothing short of exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the artwork and the history behind each piece, and her passion for art was truly contagious. One of the highlights of the tour was being able to bypass the long lines and to efficiently get us to the right place to experience the artwork close up. Ilaria took the time to explain each piece in detail, giving us a deeper appreciation and understanding of the art. Not only did we see some of the most iconic pieces of art in the world, but we also learned far more about art history in those 3 1/2 hours. Ilaria's enthusiasm and expertise made the tour truly memorable, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have her as our guide.

Skip the line uffuzi and academia

Beth_B, Oct 2025
Florence has changed in that the Uffizi and academia galleries now allow a ridiculous number of visitors at one time. There is no skipping the line. We waited an hour to” skip the line”. Hardly skipping the line. And the natural prices of trying to wait in line was awful. There were no staff actually supervising this process, and people are just cutting in and out all over the place. This was not conveyed to us upon booking. Therefore we had minimal time to visit the museum and even when we were in there, their rooms are so densely packed with people you could barely move. It was a very negative experience unlike any of our other previous visits to Florence museums.

Excellent tour guide

Katie_C, Sep 2025
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour fantastic! Recommend highly for anyone interested in history.

A compact tour of the Italian renaissance and its contemporaries as told by passionate florentines

Michael_N, Sep 2025
Manuela was a fabulous guide. Her passion emanated from start to finish for the Italian renaissance and its birthplace in Florence. Her knowledge was clearly expert level. She was funny and easy to listen to. Lots of walking since the museums are separate, maybe bring a small water since it’s three hours long but would do the tour with the company and Manuela 100x over again!

The evolution of Italian Art to the Renaissance.

Ronald_S, Sep 2025
This is a great way to experience Italian Art and its history. We were able to understand the evolution of Italian Art from Rome to the Renaissance.

Thoroughly Delightful

William_F, Sep 2025
Wonderful, very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable. Touches all the historical bases with an easy style of conversation.

A wonderful experience.

Jane_H, Sep 2025
Worth every penny to have the amazing in depth knowledge of an expert and a local Transformed the whole experience. Also skipping the line was a huge bonus given our time constraints. Our guide Francesca was simply wonderful and did the whole tour at our pace. Very highly recommended.

A great way to experience these museums!

Danielle_H, Sep 2025
This was a must! Seeing the Uffizi and Academia can be overwhelming as there is so much great work and history there. Without Francesco, our wonderful tour guide, we would have missed so much. We learned so much about the art, artists, and Florentine history. It was an incredible experience! I highly recommend if you want to learn something, you do this. Also, we waited in no lines which was an incredible benefit considering the swarms of people visiting. Highly recommend, it’s worth the money!

I booked a private tour...

Shari_S, Aug 2025
I booked a private tour because it was the only way to fit these 2 must see sights into our schedule. It was worth it because we were able to avoid lines (but not crowds) and could move through at our own pace. Marta was a good guide. Unfortunately, it was miserably hot and crowded and the earbud system used is mediocre at best. My daughter really loved the David and all the interesting details Marta provided about it. We were glad to have the opportunity for a private tour, just bad timing on our part.

Our tour guide was great...

Jonathan_M, Jul 2025
Our tour guide was great but we found that we didn’t see a lot and then found out we couldn’t come back. It was very rushed for almost $700 for 3

Great Tour, Don’t miss the Opportunity to Skip the Line with a Guide!

Richard_M, Jul 2025
Our guide, Midila was great and super knowledgeable with 16 years of experience! She made it so easy process, honestly very much worth the cost. They handle the tickets, help Shepard you through the process. She was very knowledgeable in not only the art, the city, the time period of the renaissance, etc.

Excellent tour

Cagatay_T, Jul 2025
Guido, our tour guide, was outstanding. He thoughtfully adjusted the tour’s pace to accommodate our 5-year-old, sharing engaging stories that captured her attention—particularly in the Uffizi Gallery and at the David statue in the Galleria dell’Accademia. Guido’s calm and easygoing demeanor made the experience seamless. We skipped all lines and accessed the top floors of both museums via elevators, avoiding the hassle of stairs. Beyond the tour, he also shared excellent tips for our upcoming visit to Venice. Highly recommended—especially for couples with young children who want to enjoy a rich art and history experience in just a few hours without losing their child’s interest.

Totally worth it!

Nancy_M, Jul 2025
Great tour, so much to see and a private guide really helps put the important items in an order that makes sense. They help you prioritize the time and get around the long lines.

This is the way!

Jason_P, Jul 2025
FANTASTIC private tour of Uffizi, Academia, and highlights in between! Our tour guide was very, very knowledgeable and well-studied. THIS IS THE WAY TO DO IT! Skipped the lines, went right in, and had a wonderful afternoon learning all about the beautiful pieces of art and masterful artists. Highly recommend!

Great tour with Mary

Rimple_N, Jul 2025
Worth every penny! The private tour with Mary was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and explained the history of the region and how that affected the evolution of the arts. The little details that one may miss were eye opening. I would highly recommend this tour as opposed to a large tour if you are interested in learning more rather than walking though the galleries and museums and checking it off your list!

This is a great tour

Stewart_K, Jun 2025
Tour guide was great. Excellent explanations and made my group of people who do care for art or history interested in the tour. Good access to sites. Very knowledgeable.

Great Tour!

Lisabeth_S, Jun 2025
Loved the tour! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fluent in English and was able to answer our questions. She gave us insight into the artists and their history. You will be on your feet the entire time so if you have issues with standing and walking for roughly 3 hours you may want to reconsider.

Manuela was the perfect...

Jill_C, Jun 2025
Manuela was the perfect guide! She was so knowledgeable and I felt like we learned so much more than if we would have done this on our own! Great to skip the lines and she showed us the main attractions! Would recommend to anyone coming to Florence!

Fabulous Tour

Jeanmarie_H, Jun 2025
Our tour with Manuela was amazing! She was energetic, passionate, and informative! We learned so much. Ask for Manuela! Our two teen boys were entertained as well so that’s saying something. Grazie Mille!

Excellent tour guide

Tami_R, Jun 2025
Our tour guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough nice things about here Manuela

We skipped all the lines,...

Jan_S, May 2025
We skipped all the lines, including the lines for the “skip the longer line and stand in this shorter Skip The Line line.” A private tour is the best way to enjoy these museums!
