We had a 3 hour walking tour with Mik, which was amazing! He is a wonderful person, and amazing guide. He is so passionate about Florence’s history and it shines through his entire tour. He has kids, so is very patient and empathetic to those with kids. He is thoughtful and kept us in the shade as much as possible, and also highlight spots for drinks, water bottle refills and toilets throughout the tour. Plus he has been living in Florence for 20 years (maybe more can’t remember the exact number) and knows a ton of people and can provide amazing recommendations.

Incredible introduction to Florence. Guide Miquel was like meeting an old friend who wanted you to love Florence as much as he clearly does. He talked about history, art, restaurants and wine. Great experience

Valmi have us a great tour of the city. She was engaging and informative and a lot of fun.
This tour did not include entry into the sites (Duomo, Palazzo Vechio, Pitti Palace etc) so if you want to enter these sites you will need to do that on your own.

Martina emailed me ahead of time and we planned how to spend the six hour private tour. I think that was the key to the success of the day.
We visited her side of Florence, enjoyed the outdoor markets, gardens and specialty stores for art.
We went to an amazing place for lunch and later, stopped a wine bar.
All this afforded Martina time to share her city with me. I felt like I was not a tourist but visiting with a friend.
I have been to Florence before and done all the major sites. This was a unique day that I will never forget.

The four of us (2 couples) did a three hour private walking tour of Florence. Our guide, Martina was exceptional. Her knowledge of the history of Florence as well as the key families that shaped the growth of Florence was very well articulated. It made all the difference in our understanding and enjoyment of the city. Martina took the time to understand what we were interested in and planned our walk around our interests. She patiently answered our questions and frequently checked in with us during the tour to ensure we were getting what we wanted and the pace of the tour was really up to us. At the end of the tour she provided us with recommendations for restaurants, wine windows, shopping, and other areas of interest in Florence. Thank you Martina for such a wonderful tour!

Things could not have gone better. Olmo (our guide) picked us up timely at the front of our hotel and we strolled for a couple of hours taking in unique sights with a depth of historical and contextual commentary we never would have been able to ascertain on our own. The guide truly let us guide where we wanted to go and he did the rest. There were also some special side trips outside of the tourist areas where we could get a nice feel for life in Firenze, with a stop even by the guide's home (and a nice little refreshment). Very nice day!

Wonderful introduction to Florence gems based on what we wanted to enjoy while in Florence. Set your own pace tour guide had a delightful manner, sense of humor, knowledgeable of Florence’s history, culture, art, politics, geography. He appreciated our questions and pointed out some curiosities. We were provided so many customized suggestions for best places to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine, wine, gelato (we have multiple food sensitivities), shopping for specific items made in Florence. For example, after touring the leather school, we know how to recognize the authentic leather items made in Florence.

Martina was FANTASTIC!!! She was the perfect mix of showing us around the city, giving the historical information, favorites of the city and passing us through hidden gems.
