This was a highlight of our trip to Florence, featuring beautiful views, a perfect lunch and wine tastings which we thoroughly enjoyed. While the hills at first looked daunting, the e-bikes made them easy. It was very hot on our tour, but we all packed water and sunscreen and we were fine. What a great day, our guide was fantastic and fun, and we’re very glad we did this.

We had an amazing time on our e-biking tour through Tuscany! Our guide, Davide, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, engaging, and so much fun to spend the day with. He shared great insights about the region, made sure everyone was comfortable on the bikes, and kept the energy high from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience felt both adventurous and relaxed. Highly recommend this tour and especially Davide! 🌿 Short & Warm Review (for Google/TripAdvisor): Our Tuscany e-bike tour was incredible! Davide was the perfect guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and full of enthusiasm. He made the day fun, informative, and unforgettable.

Great way to see the country

Susan_D, Jun 2026
Wonderful excursion to see the countryside and taste local food and wine! Great guide and fellow travelers

Not safe.

carlisle_b, May 2026
I feel bad leaving this review because our guide was nice but this is a honest review of our tour. It felt very unsafe the whole time. Our guide wove through busy city traffic and did not wait for the group. The only reason half our group didn’t get lost multiple times was because one of the other group members noticed the guide wasn’t waiting and stayed back to help the others find their way. We traveled on busy, narrow, dangerous roads the entire way to the wine tasting. The bikes were in poor condition and every single group member was covered in oil on the back of their legs that was VERY hard to get off and one bike had so many issues that the guide had to ride it instead, making that person use the guides bike which seemed heavier than the rest of the bikes because of the bags hanging on it to hold one bottle of water for each member of the group. The bikes didn’t have baskets, water bottle holders or anything so it was hard to bring your own source of water, sunscreen, or belongs, which were all extremely necessary due to the intense heat. Thankfully when one of the bikes broke the same group member who waited for the others, was also able to fix the bike, with out that person we would have been stuck waiting for the company to come replace, or fix the bike. The guide did not know how to fix it. Multiple people in the group fell or crashed because of how uneasy the road conditions were, leading to cut legs and arms. We left the tour early before the last wine tasting stop because we were so anxious about our safety and exhausted. I will say, the winery we stopped at for lunch was great and simple food. Very needed by the time we arrived, although others in the group were underwhelmed by the amount of effort put into the food. It was toasted bread with their home grown olive oil, a few meats, pasta, and a tart bar for dessert.

Enjoyable way to see outside of the city

Fun, yet challenging day on our bike tour with Fred. The e bikes are great, uphill is still a bit of a workout so don’t think it’s all easy riding. We had some great viewpoints of both Florence city and the Tuscan countryside. Lunch and wine tasting at the farm winery were lovely. End the day with another tasting and snack back in Florence which we also really enjoyed. Fred was a great and knowledgeable guide. Overall a really nice way to spend a day in Florence

Beautiful bike ride

This was our favorite tour in Italy. Even with the e-bikes, your quads will get a workout. There is a lot of uphill biking. This tour starts in the city. You will bike with vehicle traffic and pedestrians until you get out of the city. Our tour guide was pleasant. We stopped several places for photos. Lunch was restful and delicious. And towards the end we stopped at another place for appetizers and wine.

Highlight of entire trip

Wonderful Bike Trip!

We enjoyed it very much! Alex the guide was great. I found the handle bars (to the brakes) a bit large for asian women hands.

Fast Ride & Missed Moments

p6hhkzxkdn, Oct 2025
The scenery in Chianti is undeniably stunning, and the e-bike route itself had great potential. Unfortunately, the pace of the tour made it difficult to truly enjoy the experience. Our guide was courteous, but seemed impatient with the group and maintained a speed more suited to a race than a leisurely countryside ride. It often felt like we were in the Tour de France - eyes glued to the road, with little chance to take in the views. There were no meaningful stops to learn about the region or its landmarks, and the wine tastings, while pleasant, lacked any real explanation of what we were drinking or what food was being served. It would have added a lot to have some context or storytelling along the way. Also worth noting: bathroom breaks were few and far between, and it would be helpful if the tour included a heads-up about that in advance. Overall, it was a beautiful ride - but one that could have been greatly improved with a slower pace, a few more stops, and some thoughtful commentary to connect us with the place we were speeding through.

Ride not for the faint of heart

Christian_C, Sep 2025
Riding through the city and hills is not for the faint of heart. You have to be a pretty competent bike rider to move through the traffic and navigate the e-bike. The roads are narrow and not exactly smooth. Paying attention is key. We moved pretty fast in both the uphills and downhills. The lunch was at a small little winery that produced both Chianti Classico and Olive oil. (Available for purchase after lunch). The lunch itself was all carbs. Crostini for the vegetarians, a light meat plate, and a Primi pasta only, with the two small glasses of wine. Pretty basic and country style. A tiny dessert was nothing special and not homemade. Overall the lunch was a bit disappointing. My friends felt the same. The bike ride overall was fun and exciting. Our guide, Grazia was a perfect leader. We covered a lot of ground and enjoyed the views. Fun to get out of the city and ride through the suburbs.

You'll regret many things in life but not this tour

Beautiful ride. If it's sunny bring sun block and put on your arms! Best thing to do in Florence is this

Wonderful day with wonderful people. Cannot recommend enough to get a true flavour of Florence beyond the tourist centre.

Tuscany ride

Ken_D, Jul 2025
The tour was a lot of fun. The bikes were in good condition. We enjoyed the ride and it was not difficult with the e-bikes. The wine tasting was interesting and the food was great.

Best part of my trip!

Marisha_L, Jun 2025
It was a great experience to get away from the bustling city and see the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. You don’t need to be super fit to do it because the e-bikes do the work for you. We had a small group of less than 15 people with varying degrees of fitness and all managed perfectly fine. Our tour guide had a lot of knowledge and made the trip really fun. Highly recommend doing this tour.

Race against the sun

Kelly_L, Jul 2025
We saw that the tour cost half the value of the competitor, but that drew attention to the fact that they had personal accident insurance. The bikes are new, the vineyard is a delight, with an interesting tour, delicious wine and good lunch. However, the two guides had no experience in guiding bicycle groups. My husband is a cyclist and have experience in riding in places with cars. The walk seemed like a chase. The guide fired at the front and the participants who gave it to follow him. We stop twice for explanations about Florence, with a duration of less than two minutes each stop. There were no clear instructions about the walk, the stops. Just one race.
