This is a scam!! We arrived at the meeting point 20minutes early and no one showed up. No messages confirming the tour the day before like all the other proper tours. Do not book with these people!

Very anxiety-laden and difficult tour experience

It was a terrible and anxiety-ridden experience. I am in my 80's, traveling solo, and wanted to see the Uffizi and the Academia so hoped to meet a guide and group and get into the museums. I was told to wait under the Cellini sculpture and look for someone with a flag that said "European Destinations." I waited 45 minutes, then asked the Uffizi staff if I was in the right place and they said they had never heard of this tour group. They tried to call the number on the Viator info and no response. returned to the meeting point and a half hour later a woman came up and had my name written on a sheet. Then we couldn't get into the Uffizi so had to walk to the Accademia--and then back again. The guide was very knowledgeable, however the organization of this tour by this group is very negative. I would like at least a partial refund for the worry and anxiety.

Thorough Renaissance Art History Lesson

Our tour was with Laura and was a private tour which was a surprise to us. The tour was an in-depth lesson about Renaissance art and history of Florence. Excellent experience for anyone seeking a thorough educational experience. Laura moved us quickly through the museums. I suggest the tour should start at the Academy and end at Uffizi so participants would have more time at Uffizi to explore. We only had about 30 mins on our own to see Uffizi and walk to the Academy so we missed a lot at Uffizi. From my experience, I do not recommend this tour for teens or children or anyone else with a short attention span as it was A LOT of information. I would do this again with other adults interested in history and would be prepared to take notes.

Our guide was excellent- there were just 2 of us on the tour so we got special time with her. She was easy to find to start the tour and got us through the crowded museum easily, but still spent adequate time explaining the paintings. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the artists and their work featured on our tour. She pointed out a lot of things we would not have seen on our own. Highly recommend this tour - its well worth your time and money.

Usually, for group tours, guides do not customize a tour if there are several parties in the group to meet particular interests of just a few. A QUICK HIGHLIGHT TOUR OF BOTH MUSEUMS

We were a group of 3 family members on a quick trip to Florence. The tour leaders were very nice and helpful.We visited on a Wednesday in September and thought the city was very crowded, however we were informed that it was a "slow time" for visiting Florence. We couldn't imagine what a "busy season" would be.. We found the guides easy to find at the statue of Leonardo at the Uffizi. We arrived 30 minutes early and they were already there holding a sign with our names on it. Our group had about 14 people. We were able to "skip the line" but still had to wait a little bit to go through security screenings. We were given a headset to hear our guide. Guide was very informative. After our Uffizi tour, we were given 45 minutes to make our way to the Accademia. We were told it was a 10 minute walk, however because of crowds it took at least 20 minutes. Do not expect to get lunch or shop in between. The statue of David was very impressive, it was on our bucket list. Again, the museum was extremely crowded, but the "skip the line" is the only way to go. Well worth it. I highly recommend this tour.

This trip did not turn out as it was originally sold. Instead of two visits over a 3 hours period, this was 2 hours in the uffuzi one hour break then a second visit to the Accademia. The morning guide was very good, but even with the headphones, a bit difficult to understand completely, but she was obviously very knowledgeable. In the afternoon the guide was absorbed in his subject or michaelangelo’s David but went into far too much detail about lots of concepts around it - losing a lot of the group. One issue that was a problem was our 16 yo son and issues with him being admitted. I didn’t have his passport and wasn’t asked to bring it, so no ID for him, meaning in the uffuzi they refused to admits him as a junior. The tour company quickly paid for him as an adult but it was a bit embarrassing for him.

Great way to see the Masterpieces

Cloudio (spelling?) was a very knowledgeable and friend guide. He pointed out not only the big pieces everyone comes to see but he also shared more info about some of lesser known pieces that were still very important. The tour guide company was also very helpful since this was a two part/location tour and made it very easy to find the rest of the group and restart in the second part. We had to skip out of the last ten minutes to make a train but wish we could have spent more time with Cloudio! Thanks!
