My husband and I had a great time! The tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable and took us to the main attraction tourist locations as well as other hidden gems. The tour was actually private (which we did not know). I would recommend this trip! This dynamic duo team were both named Ahmed so it’s easy to request when booking this excursion.

Very early start was acceptable but the itinerary was complete by lunch ( which wasn’t included in the tour ). Our return flight 9.30 at night so many hours alone in Luxor where you are hassled aLOT!..
Our guide suggested nice cafe where we were treated well but couldn’t wander round safely so a very long day !Actual tour was great guide and driver friendly and informative treated us very respectfully

Amr Hamed our tour guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and amiable.
The sites visited were mind blowing. If you have any interest in Egyptology then this is the tour for you

Ahmed was awesome! Super welcoming and knowledgeable. He was able to show me the best spots and was willing to find some additional things to do since I had a late flight. Would definitely recommend Ahmed!

I had an amazing time in Luxor! It’s truly impressive how well-preserved the historical sites are, walking through them feels like stepping back in time. Special thanks to the tour guide, Mohamed Farag, for making the experience so insightful. I also want to thank the driver in Luxor for the smooth rides, and Ahmed Lotfy, the driver in Cairo, for his professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend this experience!

My guide Ghada was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and has an obvious love of her country and culture. It was great spending the day with her and learning about the upper/lower kingdoms. Luxor is really beautiful and not busy/stressful like Cairo. Next time, I would plan for more time in Luxor.

This was a poorly planned tour and a scam for more money. We specifically booked this tour for the business class travel to Luxor with hotel pick up and drop off. Made the reservation six weeks in advance and had to call multiple times to get a confirmation. We believed everything was set only to get a text, two days prior to the trip, that only economy seats were available and the cost had gone up (to sit in economy). Not Acceptable!! We booked six weeks in advance and they hadn't made flight arrangements!!! We had him change the flight the day prior to ensure we had business class seats, but only after paying an additional $80 USD! Once in Luxor the tour guide kept trying to sell us additional sites to visit. Since we already paid so much for the trip we absolutely refused to purchase anything else...needless to say the tour was finished early (because we didn't purchase additional sites) and we spent the next six hours waiting for our flight home. Total waste of time and money. It felt like a big scam for more money.

Great day in Luxor Karnak temple and valley of the kings a must , our tour also included a fantastic lunch at a organic local restaurant, Egyptian cotton workshop , spice shop with a chance to see downtown Luxor as our flight was late in evening, our tour guide Mohammed ran the tour smoothly always giving us options and great advice and information on this fascinating culture , a must thanks for a great day Mohammed .

Very great experience! We highly recommend using this company for your next experience. They were thoughtful and very knowledgeable about the region.

Cancelled last minute as there were “no flights”. Ridiculously disappointing as our trip revolved around going to Valley of the Kings and it’s a 7 hour car ride one way from Cairo. Company claimed to have messaged me via WhatsApp but did not.

I had initially said I would write a good review out of appreciation for the guide helping me out when my power bank failed to charge my phone. This was before I was told to pay 3,500EP to see one extra site- Luxor Temple. Plus there was no thanks (rather disdain)when I gave a good tip which I felt I had to do (and the guide insisted I did) since I wanted to get photos that were now on the guide’s phone that I had to chase with their boss. I truly appreciate the guide’s help with the photos but I joined this tour to avoid being swindled and in the end I was had.
The guide would give a quick highlights tour, then unlike other guides I saw accompanying their clients all the time, my guide gave me free time after the few minutes highlights discussion so as to rest in the shade. It was like a paragraph or two from Wikipedia about a site.
I had to take a selfie for the Menmon statues. Neither driver or guide could be bothered to step out of the car and I felt I could not ask them since it was clear they were reluctant.
Better to get flights and a reliable driver who speaks your language. It’s basically the same- ur driven to a site and given free time after a few minutes chat on highlights. Plus you probably won’t pay as much or be told to pay a ridiculous price tag for one extra activity. I finished the classic tour before 2pm and was told by the guide to go around Temple of Amun again (on my own again)when I said let’s leave. There was huge expanses of Amun the guide did not cover and when I bothered them to take a couple of photos for me it was reluctance. I’m still appreciative of the photos but it mostly was given reluctantly and of course I really wished my power bank wasn’t failing!
I’d only recommend this tour if you’re short of time and want everything planned for you.

Booked through viator one day before the tour the tour operator tried to change our dates due to no flights our of Luxor back to cairo, as our schedule was tight enough they still trued and tried to offer us other tours which we had already done tried to offer us airport transfer they didn't refund our money which was over 1000 us dollars no help from both tour operator and viator totally hopeless and useless.

This full-day tour of Luxor was an incredible experience, covering all the key attractions such as the Valley of the Kings, the tomb of Tutankhamun, and many others. Our knowledgeable tour guide met us at the airport, along with our driver, and provided insightful information about each site both before and during our visit. We also had the opportunity to stop for lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious local dishes. Overall, it was an amazing way to explore Luxor in one day, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and authentic experiences.

If you can, book your reservations on the airline separately. Try to get a reservation around seven in the morning and a return around four or five in the afternoon. We booked at the last minute and ended up with airline reservations leaving Cairo at 9 am (which actually left at 10 am because of delays) and returning to Cairo at 2:15 PM. We were able to see the temple of Karnac and the valley of the Kings, but it was an awful rush. Also, we were a small group of three, but we were on a tour with a gentleman who had a return flight at 11 PM. So to accommodate our very short tour time, this gentleman was forced to hurry through sites that he probably would’ve wanted to spend a lot more time on. We felt bad for him. So it is very important to make very clear with the tour operator how you want to spend your time and to make sure that you are not booked on a tour with somebody who has a very incompatible schedule.
Amr, the guide, was great. Given the two very different schedules that he was trying to accommodate at the same time, he did quite well. He tried to provide enough context while we were traveling between sites so that we could move quickly to see as much as we could with some understanding of what we were seeing.
I would love to go back and see the sites of Luxor with a full day without the pressure of airline ticketing issues. I definitely recommend the tour guide, but the scheduling was just a very stressful and hurried process.

So happy that I picked the opportunity to explore Luxor w/ Ghada! I picked the VIP Package for myself for solo travel and it was well worth it to be able to organize my time in Luxor for myself with a trusted Guide and Driver. Ghada did everything to make sure my time was spent and was very informative about each site we visited (Valley of the Kings, Tomb of King Tut, Temple of Hatshepsut, Temple of Karnak, Colossi of Memnon, and BONUS Temple of Luxor!). She let me organize my time as I saw fit and we were even able to do some bonus things such as lunch on the east bank of the Nile with amazing views, took about 30 minute boat ride on the Nile and soaked my feet in the refreshing water, and was able to go to authentic shops carrying fine Egyptian Cottons, Linens and Silks. Ghada definitely gave me the VIP treatment over the course of my day in Luxor and I will definitely be coming back to visit again.
For the tour company, when I first booked the experience, I booked the VIP experience with Business class flights. I was informed 24 hours before my flight that the BC Flight wasn’t available because of “last minute booking” which is mentioned in disclaimer when booking the ticket, after much back and forward I was at least able to get my flight from Cairo to Luxor upgraded to BC (I paid the extra cost after I did the research and found in fact there were still tickets available) and came economy back to Cairo. This would not have been a problem with the disclaimer other than the fact that I booked my experience almost 4 months ago so the last minute reservation was on the tour company and not me. Even with this experience before meeting Ghada, I still would recommend this tour to friends and family but do take care to follow up with the Tour Company to make sure your class of flight you want is booked and whether or not there will be extra expenses so that you can have the best experience possible.
Alas! Ghada still made me feel like a VIP and well taken care of during my time in Luxor!

We had a wonderful experience with Ghada of Ramasside Tours. We flew from Cairo to Luxor and despite a one hour delay by the airline, she saved the day and kept us in track to enjoy everything we signed up for. Luxor was very beautiful and much more scenic than Cairo and seeing the King Tutankhamen tomb and others was simply spectacular. It was a long day, but totally worth it and was a truly unforgettable day!

Fantastic experience! Luxor worth the day trip! Also the agency did an excellent job coordinating the trip and tour from door to door! Fabulous experience

Great day trip to see Luxor.
Highlights
Pick up and drop off at Cairo airport was smooth by Ahmed.
Great flight even though the return was delayed - I chatted with a couple people and viewed the football games on the screen.
Amr - my tour guide and his driver Ahmed were really nice and made the tour excellent.
The tour ended around 1pm and I was dropped off at a local hotel. Steigenberger Nile Palace.
This was well worth it.
Had lunch at the Lebanese restaurant and then spent almost 3 hours getting a massage, pedicure and Turkish bath. I highly recommend this for the time in between until the return flight.
I was picked up promptly and dropped off at the Luxor airport.
Great tour and day in Luxor!

Luxor is such an amazing place. The dolmas at Karnak and the alley of the Kings and Queens and every other place were fabulous. Ahmed as a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and also shared great pictures and stories with us. We were lucky to have him as our guide and our driver Ahmed was extremely courteous and a very good driver!

Early start at 3:45 am from posted 5am. Arrived to airport just after 4am. Security to obain boarding pass didn't open till 5am. Then the security to the gate area didn't open till 6am . 2+Then the tour ends at just past 2pm. I fortunately your flight back to Cairo not till 9pm. Then treated like a convicted criminal at the airport because I arrived really early.
In all honesty the guy who brought me back and forth to the airport in Cairo was great. As was the guide in Luxor.
I'm not trying to persuade you one way or the other but please select your tolerance level.
In Luxor you got as advertised with regards to itinerary on problem is the finiishing time too early. The guide mentioned this happened to someone else as few weeks back so this is it's a problem they are aware of.
Anyway to finish

I am an American woman traveling alone, and Amr (my guide) was very kind. He gave me a lot of information about the sites we were going to visit. I highly recommend this tour, it’s worth the early morning wake up!

An another excellent trip in Luxor today. Learned many heritage stories and witnessed by visiting the hidden temples and the cemeteries. Those was awesome and unbelievable, how they did 3700 years ago. The guide Mr. Hassan Ashour and the driver Mr. Arafath were excellent people. They took care of me and explained everything so well. Finally the horse cart ride also enjoyable. Thank you 🙏

Wow. I can’t begin to describe how incredible Luxor is, I wish we had more time. So much rich history and great hospitality. Our tour guide Hasan was great. Super knowledgeable and very nice. Took us to a great restaurant with great food. My only complaint is I didn’t have more time because there’s sooo much to see and do. Ask for Hasan, he made the whole trip seamless

Amr Hamed our guide was fantastic ,he gave us plenty of time to explore the areas we visited on our own time. Of course he did provide details history about the sites we visited. Can’t go wrong with this tour ,highly recommended.

The overall experience was great!! Our operator was fantastic when working with us regarding the payment because our internet was very slow but when it came time to discuss refund options because what we were sold had to be changed not by us but by them, I heard back from no one. I did not like that, especially since we weren't told about the change until it happened. Our driver wasn't even informed that we had a meal option added until I inquired about it. An added tour should be an option at the end or given the option to add more tombs at the Valley of the Kings, because the tour with lunch ended by 3:45pm and the flight wasn't until 7:45pm, so sitting at the airport for 4 hours was not fun at all.

Amr Hamed is an exceptional tour guide who surpassed all expectations. His genuine passion for his country and people is evident, as he goes above and beyond to showcase the beauty of Luxor. Amr's commitment to promoting tourism is remarkable, and his sincerity shines through in every interaction. Remarkably honest and devoid of upselling tactics, he ensures a trustworthy and enriching experience. Choosing Amr guarantees an unforgettable journey through Luxor's wonders, leaving you with not just memories but a desire to share the magic of this incredible city.

Great experience booking with this agency. They were always in communication since day one, they helped us booking the best flight in order to seize the day in Luxor.
They were right on schedule in my hotel lobby and the entire tour went by really smooth, the guide was always explaining the history behind the archeological sites and attending all our questions and doubts. In addition, he provided spare time to take all the pictures that we wanted.
At the end of the tour extra activities were offered, we took the city tour by horse carriage (for $50 USD), we really enjoyed it.

Excellent trip! The Luxor visit is a lot to pack into one day but our guide, Ghada, was wonderful. She provided a lot of information about every site we visited. Valley of the Kings is amazing and definitely a must see in Egypt. Everything we saw on this tour was incredible. If you only have 1 day to visit Luxor, I would definitely recommend this tour.

I sadly was unable to take the tour due to no flights being available till after I left Egypt. The tour company was great and refunded my money due to having no flights available.
I took a tour with the same company and absolutely loved it. I will definitely plan to take the tour in the future when I come back!
