Kyrllos Eskander was fantastic - he is highly knowledgeable in respect of the history of Ancient Egypt and the pyramids specifically. He gave us a detailed account of the history of the pyramids and Spinx, which was insightful and interesting. The tour made our day stress free - as opposed to other day trips in Egypt where we have travelled alone and found it difficult to navigate the Egyptian cultural practices, which being from London, we know little about.

We chose the all inclusive tour, absolutely worth every penny. Our tour guide was Mohamed Elshemei, he was amazing! Great communication before we met for the day. He had a wonderful depth of knowledge about Egyptian history and the pyramids. He took care of every step along the way the entire day, including paying for the public restrooms. Camel ride is a must do! From the moment we met in the hotel lobby till the driver dropped us off, we felt VIP. We had a great rooftop lunch with a view of the pyramids. Overall was wonderful day for our first day in Egypt!!

Mahmoud Khalefa is clearly passionate about history and takes the time to teach. He fulfilled all my expectations of the trip and communicated well. For those that prioritize photos, specifically ask for him. He understands how to take photos with good perspectives and always takes a variety. He's definitely one of the best photographers I've had as a guide in all my travels. For reference, I always also hire photographers during my travels so this topic matters to me. I was very surprised that he mastered both skills sets ( historical guide & photographer).

You need to have a lot of time to take it in. A minimum of 4 hours is required. Wish i knew this, so would have picked an earlier time. Didn't know the complex shuts down at 4. 30/5 Duba, our guide was absolutely fantastic, patient and very knowledgeable. He pulled a few strings and we totally enjoyed our time there. No hassles, everything was well organized, felt like a VIP

Manar was our guide for a tour of the Giza complex. She was one of the best guides we’ve ever had! She is kind, fun, and a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egypt. In particular, she does a great job of explaining the history of the sites we visited with stories demonstrating the skills and methods of ancient Egyptians rather than just listing names and dates, making it a fun and engaging day. We couldn’t recommend Manar highly enough!

Mo gave a very thorough tour of the pyramids and Sphinx. He is holds a PhD in Egyptian history and has a wealth of knowledge. He engages his tour guests with questions in order to help you use your imagination. We chose the Giza pyramids, camel ride, and Sphinx. Something to be aware of is that at the end you go to a papyrus and mummification oil museum. But these are more of a sales pitch. I recommend skipping them. Also- plan for a long tour- about 4.5 hours. Mo arranged rides for us to travel to and from our location of choice which was very helpful.

If you Book this Excursion do yourself a favor and ask for osama!! He is simply the best tour guide Cairo has to offer. We got through long lines at pyramid extremely fast which was a relief. Then once we got on the grounds he showed me the best spots for pictures, was very knowledgeable, and took care of me like I was his brother. We had an amazing half-day tour with our guide Kyrllos. He took us to the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, a camel ride, an ATV ride, some local market shops, and we also enjoyed a nice lunch. Everything was perfectly organized and so much fun. Kyrllos knows so much about the history and explained everything in a really engaging way. The driver was also really nice and made the whole experience even better. It was an unforgettable day and definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend!
