We had a fantastic private tour of the Giza Plateau with Abdo and he proved to be an exceptional guide. His knowledge of Egyptian history and the pyramids was outstanding, and he has a wonderful ability to explain the history in a way that is engaging, easy to follow, and genuinely fascinating. Seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx is incredible on its own, but having Abdo there to provide the history, context, and stories behind what we were seeing made the experience so much more meaningful.
Abdo was also incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the day. He made sure we never felt rushed, answered all of our questions, and knew exactly how to navigate the Giza Plateau so we could make the most of our time. It felt much more like exploring Giza with a knowledgeable local friend than simply following a tour guide.
One of the unexpected highlights came after visiting the pyramids when Abdo took us to a fantastic locals-only lunch spot that we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious, authentic, and a wonderful opportunity to experience a little bit of everyday Egyptian life away from the typical tourist restaurants. It was the perfect way to finish the experience.
Abdo’s combination of deep knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Egypt made our visit to Giza truly memorable. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Cairo or Giza. Having Abdo as our guide made an already bucket-list experience even better!

With Lobna, you'll have the best time of your life. This is also the ONLY tour that takes you to the only tomb in the area with wall paintings and hieroglyph writings. Our guide Lobna was wonderful, she accomodated for our needs and made it a comfortable and magical experience. We learned, we laughed a lot, we had so much fun. She even took us to the city to get perfumes, authentic papyrus and silver cartouches with our names in hieroglyph. Best day ever!!! Thank you a million times for the unforgettable day 🥰

Fantastic experience and our tour guide Ghada was amazing. Very knowledgeable and highly recommended.
We did the all inclusive option so got to see the pyramids as well as camel ride around them, go inside of one, visit a tomb and see the sphinx up close. After that, we went for lunch. A great way to tick off a bucket list tour!

It was very hot crowded and slightly disappointing. But not as bad a seeing nothing after a 4 hour wait at the great pyramid. That was ridiculous .

It was an absolutely amazing experience, choose Sasha as your tour guide if you can, she adjusted the plan a little bit to accommodate me, very knowledgeable about local history and culture. I got late due to another booking but Sasha and her team waited for me and made sure I can still see the best of the tour. She also took me to a few local stores, she asked me first if I was interested to see them, so I chose the Papyrus, perfume and statue stores. She just waited patiently while I was walking around there, both Sasha and the store staffs didn’t tried to push me to buy anything, it’s a very comfortable environment, and the local lunch provided to Sasha was also very good Egyptian Experience! When we walked around and someone tried to scam me Sasha would tell them to go away, she really took my whole Egypt experience to the next level, choose her if you can!

The trip will take some physicality especially going inside the tomb of the pyramid where you will have to climb up crouching, hard on the legs if you are not use to it. Im still sore after 2 days lol.

Really good tour, comprehensive tour of the Giza site. Inside the pyramid is tight and steep, but really interesting. We lucked out with our guide Mo, who was brilliant, engaging, great sense of humour and excellent communication throughout.

Fair warning, be ready for side excursions for shops and the aggressive local merchants. Rasha was wonderful in shoowing them away haha.

Loved my experience with Amara. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour much more interesting than if I were to do it on my own. Didn’t pressure me to shop or look at perfumes or papyrus. Highly recommend it!

We had an amazing pyramid tour guided by Nada Yassin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nada was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging throughout the entire visit. She explained the history in a way that was both informative and easy to follow, making the experience even more memorable.

I believe your experience will highly depend on the guide. I observed motivated and demotivated guides while visited the pyramids. The motivated guides knew and shared some interesting stories besides pure historical facts, knew great places for picture taking and generally seemed engaged and treated the guided trip a fun. Demotivated were just ticking the boxes. Rasha, our guide sits somwhere in the middle. Definitely knowledgeable but very factual and dry. No stories, no extra background, we felt like a school history lesson. Average English, sometimes not easy to follow. . . Not really into pictures (and teenage visitors need to feed their Insta). We spent 45 min driving to lunch (waste of precious time) followed by a typical tourist diversion to visit overpriced shops with opils and papyrus (avoid these unless you do want to buy sth. and you do not have time to do on your own). I would not select this tour again, gave it 3 stars since I understand the guides need an income and my guess is a large portion of what we pay lands in intermediaries (tickets were included in the price). However the guides, drivers expect the tip anyway and keep in mind they effectively work 6-8 months due to high temperatures in summer.
Some advise: go as early as possible, start either from Spinx to have pictures without crowds or go to the Great Pyramid if you have an inside visit. The lines for the latter may reach 1h wait time outside (in the open sun) and it’s very narrow, humid inside with ppl going up/down both directions through tunnels 60-80 cm wide. Also find your time to just walk around and enjoy, park the guide somewhere because there’s constant pressure to move (to go and visit the overpriced shops since the guide needs that commission as well)…
However the experience of visiting the piramids is simply unforgettable.

Fantastic trip with excellent guide Hossam, who looked after us well and gave clear explanations. He contacted us the day beforehand with pick up details and glad we took his advice to depart at 8am as we were ahead of the large tour parties. Made for a really enjoyable time with no queues. Fab lunch too at a clean restaurant.

Our experience was absolutely incredible! Our guide Rania was very sweet and caring. She made us feel as if it was a personal friend showing us the area. She explained the sites very well, never rushed us and took plenty of photos including fun creative poses that turned out great! She answered any questions we had and the people that interacted with her spoke very highly of her. Our driver Moustafa was also wonderful. He was kind, engaging, and always had a smile. He was very accommodating and answered questions in the car along the way and even made impromptu stops for us at local shops we had previously visited and wanted to return to. Overall these two made for one unforgettable, special experience of a lifetime.

If you go to Cairo, you can’t miss the pyramids. And if you want to see the pyramids , call Mo. We had such a great time with our dear guide Mohamed during our visit to the Giza Pyramid Complex. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us understand so much more about the history and significance of the pyramids, especially the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza.
He explained everything in a clear and engaging way, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. What we appreciated most was how he made sure we had the best experience possible — including taking us to the perfect spots for amazing photos with the pyramids in the background!

Good communication, my guide Rania was helpful and gave me plenty of time to take photos. The highlight for me was the Marsa Ankh tomb. Going inside the great pyramid is quite a squeeze, so probably not suitable for anyone who is claustrophobic, but quite an experience in itself (and be prepared to queue). Overall a good first day activity to get acquainted with the key sights at Giza.

I don't recommend this tour. We had a bad experience with the Guide. She spoke more regarding selling stuffs than explaining the place and history. Literally we need to keep asking to say something about the place. We can see all other guides around us explain something but our guide is silent most of the times.

We had a great time on our tour with Fatima. She showed us everything we wanted to see and was really efficient because we were in a time crunch. She explained things very well and was very energetic. We were a family of 6 with my kids including my one year old and my parents in law. We got to ride camels, go inside the pyramid (which didn’t take long but was really tiring), and see the sphynix. We went into the tomb with the hieroglyphics. Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of tours and I would give this one a 10 out of 10.

“Professional” would be the best way to describe this tour with Essra. She arrived early, advised me on how to navigate the hawkers, and was able to dynamically adapt the tour to my preferences and provisions. Beyond this, she was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, and was able to answer all of the questions I had; her knowledge seemed far deeper and genuine than what many other guides have said to me. At no point did she try to sell anything, and even advised on tours I had booked with other agencies. She also knew all of the best photo opportunities for each site.

Great tour of the pyramids! Thank you to Rasha for being such a great guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I was drenched in sweat after going inside the great pyramid, and Rasha was so concerned she helped me buy a tshirt in the shop before proceeding in our tour. Thank you also for keeping us comfortable and safe, especially for my old mother who has knee problems; we appreciate the assistance you gave us every step of the way, especially that the roads can be uneven. Rasha also helped get a good price for a scarf we wanted to buy before our camel ride.
Just a tip for future travelers, going inside the pyramid is quite a task, be prepared for steep ladders where you would have to bend and crouch for quite a distance; and although the passageway is good only for 1 person, you have people going on both directions so there can be quite a build up and a tight squeeze. Be sure not to be claustrophobic when doing this, and be physically fit. hehe Also, there's nothing much to be seen inside the pyramid as it has been looted by robbers. Best to get the option into one of the smaller tombs wherein you can see nice hieroglyphics.
