Met Desert Foxes

My personal highlight was seeing the Desert Foxes. If you want to meet them you have to book your trip with Muhammad because he befriended some of them. Sleeping in the desert is a special experience - so peaceful and perfectly silent. Hard to describe the White Desert and the Crystal Mountain - you have to see it. Take your swimwear on the trip!

WOW what a once in a lifetime experience with the chief Reda FOX, its was exactly as i would have wished. Black desert full of lava stone to bring back as a souvenir and after crystal mountain. Reda Fox was super smooth all the trip, not rushing us so we could stop anywhre and just walk by ourself to enjoy the trip. We had Michael as our tour guide and I can’t remember the drivers name but they were both so lovely and made us feel very safe. It was a great tour and we were able to swap out the Egyptian Museum for the new GEM. Although the tour operators themselves weren’t very nice or easy to deal with whilst asking to swap the museums, the actual tour guide and driver were very friendly.

Perfect tour during a long layover!

What a great way to see Cairo during a layover! Landed at around 6 a.m., got our visa (NOTE: if you’re flying EgyptAir, they offered a free visa at the EgyptAir Transit Office, which is on the right as you make your way towards passport control, instead of paying one of the banks), then we went outside to meet our guide. The exit of the airport is chaos but we found our tour guide, Mahmoud Hoka, pretty quickly and we were on our way! Mahmoud and our driver, Amr, were fantastic. We headed straight to the pyramids, got some great pictures, had a camel ride, walked around and went to the Sphinx. We then went to a couple stores (no real pressure to buy anything, but we got some stuff), had lunch, then finished at the museum to see the King Tut exhibit). And then Amr got us back to the airport in time for our connecting flight. We can fully recommend this tour and our guide. Thanks for the unforgettable day!
