What are people saying about Bucharest

Lovely historical walk
This tour focused on history of Bucharest and was really informative. The pace was good - the city is loud so you have to get close to hear everything sometimes. We revisited areas from the tour to find out more and look inside building such as the Parliament.

Excellent tour and even better guide (Otilia)
Otília was amazing. The information she gives is really good. Her organization and punctuality are impecable. The sad part comes from another group with another guide (the bus was half English and half spanish) and the Spanish group was always arriving late and that made us delay a lot. I just wish they were left behind as they were warned multiple times and still didn't comply.
The times given on each place was perfect.

Wild weather and great trip to Transylvania.
Radu was our driver and gave us great tour. He took us to the main attractions and let us decide how long to take at each site. We had time to walk around on our own. We had a wild thunder storm in the afternoon that blocked the main road from Brasov with a mudslide. Radu took us on another route through the countryside that most people don't see. He was very knowledgeable and friendly which made the day very enjoyable.

You won’t regret it
The tour was almost exactly 12 hours long and we were told we were lucky with our timing. With that being said, none of the tour felt like a drag. You get to experience something that you would otherwise probably miss on your own. Rodica and Christian were very pleasant to work with.

Very long but enjoyable...
Very long but enjoyable day. Serban was an excellent driver and guide. We visited the two castles and then went to Brasov. We only had an hour in Brasov. Ideally 30 minutes less at each castle and we could have had 2 hours in Brasov, which would have given more balance to the trip. Well worth the visit.

One of the Best Options
Thank you for hosting the tour. It was worthwhile. I don't think I would ever have been able to or plan anything out like that myself. We went through some cities, & it was thoughtful to let people explore a bit to grab food. It felt sortof sad to leave at the end, which I think indicates it was done well; knowing this is how modern life is--you are expected to do things fast, then move on, etc.., even though I do not personally believe in that philosophy, I think it was a good tour and way to spend 1st part of the day.

A Must Do
Bogdan was fantastic. He had so much knowledge and information about the castles. We would recommend getting a ticket for your guide into Pele Castle because it is worth all the explanations. The day is long but completely worth it. We would highly recommend.

Great intro to the city!
Had a wonderful tour with Bogdam. Come with an empty stomach because there was a lot of food - and beer! Easy meet-up location on the steps of the National Theater. Everyone on my tour was from the U.S. Bogdam’s English was fantastic. Ate different types of salami, eggplant dips, olives, cheeses, bread, mici with mustard, a pretzel, cherries, a fried donut speciality. Soft drinks were available for those who didn’t want to drink beer or wine. Tried the local plum brandy shot. Visited different neighborhoods and a large fresh marketplace. Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

It is cold for sure but...
It is cold for sure but inside is very breathtaking seeing it. For Americans it’s about 50 degrees F so definitely a jacket and pants. They have events inside which is kinda surprising I didn’t think there was anything in there so it is family friendly as well.

A very good day's activity
A great way to get out of the city and see the country. We had comfortable coach, very good driver Daniel, and our guide Stefan giving commentary along the way. Plenty of time at each stop off point and he'd chat with any of us asking questions. Whole day was excellent. I really would recommend this to anyone. Well worth the cost.

Best food tour ever.
This was the absolutely best tour we have taken. Our host walked us through the city and stopped at small local shops with the best food tastings. Everything was fresh and made on the spot upon our arrival. Our host Manuela, would stop at various locations and explain the origins of the city and country with facts about the people involved. We went through the old town, through revolution square, past the music hall, past historic churches dating back to the 14th century, all while having delicious local flavors. We sat down for a family style dinner with our host a she explained each dish. I cannot say enough how this was the best tour by far. Our group of 4 was extremely impressed. The walk was casual at your own pace.
Book this excursion now, you will not be disappointed. Go hungry because there will be a lot of food.

A Brilliant experience with Claudiu
We had excellent communication before the trip, including confirming the correct time to book tickets to Peles Castle, text updates for pickup, and an introduction to our driver, Claudiu. He met us directly at our hotel and we began the journey towards Peles Castle, stopping halfway for a coffee break.
Peles Castle was absolutely beautiful and well worth the entrance fee. After the visit, we met back up with Claudiu and continued on to Bran Castle. While Bran Castle looks stunning from the outside, we found the interior a little underwhelming in comparison.
Our final stop was Brasov, which is a truly beautiful place. We were recommended a fantastic restaurant called La Ceaun, the food and service were both excellent and we spent around 90 minutes there before heading back.
There is quite a lot of driving on this tour, but Claudiu regularly offered to stop whenever needed and made the journey enjoyable with his knowledge, humour, and friendly personality. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
