We booked this trip for my son, who was hoping to catch a peacock bass — and while those fish had other plans, he still had a fantastic time thanks to our guide, Juan. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly knew the waters well. They ended up catching a snakehead instead (that’s fishing!), but the experience was still top-notch. Juan made the day fun, safe, and educational. Highly recommend this outing if you're looking for a great fishing experience, even if the fish don't always follow the script!

Our guide, Bobby Kimble, was a Great guide. We had never been to Lake Ida, but he showed us a magnificent day of fishing for 4 hours on a glorious day, perfect blue sky, and many fish caught by Simon, our 10-year-old grandson, Simon caught 11 fish, and Bobby sent us all the pictures. One was almost 4 lbs. Bobby knew just where to go to find the fish. I learned a lot about this kind of lake fishing. Bobby was great and would look forward to another fishing trip with him as our guide. His boat was perfect for 2 anglers, and clean.

Captain Bill was absolutely fantastic. We booked an afternoon of fishing, and my husband and son caught several fish. Bill was a great conversationalist and took photos of their catches.. Highly recommend for a fun day of fishing!
