Our tour guide was lovely and informative but we were really just rushed through the markets, too worried about following her in the crowds to really look. One of the markets we didn’t even enter. I just don’t think it’s worthwhile and easier to do it yourself

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Julia, was fantastic at keeping us all together and explaining the foods, drinks, various markets, and overall history. I had gone on other market tours and this was by far the best and overall bang for buck.

Tour guide was great however i personally think don’t bother and just explore the Christmas markets on your own. Guide doesn’t give a tour of the Christmas markets just walks you to each Christmas market and then you have a limited time to explore before heading to the next one. Lots of random stops to talk about Christmas history which I wasn’t really interested in. I mainly wanted lots of time at the markets.

We are not sure what you expected, but it is clearly stated that we are taking you to 3 markets and talk about the history of Christmas traditions, sharing fun facts and anecdotes in between. Of course, if you are not interested in these back stories, visiting the markets individually does make more sense. Nevertheless, we hope you had a great time in Berlin.

Our group (3) joined the aft. tour on Sat 30. Good historical info -3 Markets visited- would have given 5 stars if directions given better when travelling. Large crowds and difficult to see guide - a recognisable cap should be worn for easy visibility

Such a great introduction to Berlin's Christmas markets! Our tour guide Kathinka was lovely and very knowledgeable about both Berlin and the markets. Some quaint markets were included in the tour which we would not have gone to on our own, and were worth the visit!

Our tour guide Sarah was excellent.
She was helpful and fun. She had so many stories and historical information. We toured a great mix of traditional and more modern Christmas markets, utilizing public transportation on the trip. Our favorite excursion in Berlin!

It was ok. Tour guide was good, accomodating. But I can say with the hop on hop off bus u can visit anybxmas market on your own. So there’s no need for nthentour guide unless you really wanted to have a brief history of the market.

Such a great tour! Our guide, Kathinka, was so wonderful and shared so much interesting history with us. She took us to three markets that were all very different from one another. Wish the tour was longer! Would have liked to have stayed at each location a little longer but otherwise it was a fabulous tour!

If you only have a few days and don't know the city, this tour really does the job with the added bonus of a guide who really knows Berlin, it's history and culture. So you not only enjoy the Christmas markets, but also get to learn about the city. He was able to answer all the questions in depth during our tour and inform on the many and varied topics. Excellent.

Interesting tour, but not overwhelmingly so. Guide was Alex? Portugues/American. Nice guy but the nature of the tour is to take patients to the markets and let them wander around for an hour. Not too demanding on him, even if he was entirely pleasant and more than competent. gwolfe

This tour was fantastic! Alex was an amazing guide and took us to three markets, two of which I would not have known about without the help of a Berliner! The balance between free time and help from our guide was perfect.

Tour guide was friendly and very knowlegeable but was not easy to follow as he walked, as he had no identification eg hat or flag.
The tour could have been improved with the service of a bus to take the tourist group to each of the three markets.

This is a must do for anyone who wants to experience the famous Christmas markets in Germany. Finn our guide made this a very interesting experience, with his knowledge of the historical facts of each location we visited. The Charlottenburg castle and Christmas market was the best.

Our guide, Alex, took us to Spandau where we saw a lovely medieval old town and church. The Christmas market was different from those in Berlin. We also went to Charlottenburg castle and Christmas market. Alex was very knowledgeable of historical facts and flavor. I highly recommend this tour.
