If you're thinking about booking the SANDEMANS Third Reich Tour, just do it. It was easily one of the best tours I did in Berlin.
Nir was an outstanding guide. You could tell he really knows the history, but what made the tour special was how he explained everything in a way that was interesting, balanced, and easy to follow. It never felt like a history lecture—it felt like walking through the city with someone who genuinely wanted you to understand what happened and why it still matters today.
The tour gives so much context to places you would otherwise just walk past without a second thought. After it, I looked at Berlin in a completely different way.
I've done quite a few walking tours while travelling, and this was one of the best. If you're visiting Berlin and want to understand the city's history beyond the guidebooks, this tour is absolutely worth your time. Huge thanks to Nir for making such a difficult subject so engaging and memorable.

Simon was an outstanding and extremely knowledgeable guide. His passion for the subject matter constantly made me want to know more and go deeper. He has clearly immersed himself in the topics and was eager to share what he learned. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

This was probably the best informative tour I have ever took. She gave a quick refresher of the history before then told why. Hannah was just excellent. If you get a chance do this tour, yes it is the dark side however, still in history. Ask for Hannah.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Scott was very informative showing us around key areas of the third reich and telling us historical facts. I learnt some amazing new facts around this time period.

George was excellent. The best tour guide I’ve ever had. He brought the history of the third reich to life and took time to answer questions and keep everyone involved.

Tried to cancel 3 days before but the website didn't allow it and said I had to call. I tried several numbers they provided and got a message that that they couldn't take calls at that time to call back later. Never got through. No response to emails. Be aware if you need to cancel.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable, we wish we could remember his name! It was interesting to learn more about this history of Germany. And he was helpful to make sure we knew where we were going after the tour!
