The bus excursion was...

The bus excursion was convenient and reliable as fellow cruise passengers had issues taking the train due to delays etc. however it was a very long bus trip from the port into Berlin and whenever we made a quick stop at a site we were always waiting for stragglers. I’d have rather done the hop on hop off bus tour in Berlin.

Thank you for your kind words about our excursion. Let me address the concerns raised: 1. There is no direct access to Berlin by sea, which is why the transfer is done by land, with approximately 2.5 hours spent each way. 2. If you prefer not to wait for fellow cruisers, we recommend considering a private rather than a shared tour. 3. To do a hop-on hop-off tour in Berlin, you would first need to use taxi, train and then purchase the tour separately. This would likely cost more and allow you to see less — but of course, the choice is always yours. Safe travels!
