I highly recommend the guided tour. For someone like me, who is not particularly interested in museums or art, I found it very helpful to better understand what we were looking at and it made the whole experience a lot more interesting. Martina, our guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the museum and Van Gogh, she explained things clearly and was able to help navigate the museum and crowds. She was awesome!

This was a great tour . It is a magnificent museum and a personal tour, while not necessary , really enhanced our experience .
Kawika is passionate and knowledgeable and clearly doing what he loves. That comes through and makes the tour that much more special. He shared personal stories about Van Goghs life and evolution of his art . It was engaging , insightful and funny . We learned about the types of paint that were used and the methods he utilized them to bring out the feeling of the subject . He also shared context on the art movement in Europe at the time .
It was a great value and perfect amount of time . I highly recommend !

We actually had to cancel due to an emergency. Why I have a 5 Star review was the professionalism of the company and how they tried to assist us throughout the experience. We did go in December 2021 and were looking forward to going again. We enjoyed the experience so much we wanted to take our son with this company. We will just have to plan another trip.

The visit was very good. Roland was an excellent guide and gave us so much information about the artists and their paintings. It was done at a good pace and with a fairly crowded museum we still saw everything we expected. The audio headsets were great even for us with hearing aids.

Our guide Marlene was wonderful and brought Van Gogh alive. It was great to see the brush strokes up close and hear an explanation of Van Gogh's technique evolution. A lifetime dream!

Our guide gave a wonderfully insightful and knowledgeable tour. Marlene was so patient heading the members of our group throughout the museum. She even went back to discuss a painting that some members of our group including me didn’t want to overlook.

Martina was an amazing guide. She taught us so much about this master, his style, his trials, etc. She used her iPad to show us different facts/photos, etc. to further your understanding. Well worth the price - go for it!

Martina, the guide, was very informative. You could tell that she had studied Van Gogh and had a passion for his works. It was a unique experience to see how the artist’s work progressed. You don’t often see that since most art museums only have a few paintings of one individual artist. My favorite was the Sunflowers abd the Bedroom. Three gift shops each with different items. Very good.

A thoroughly enjoyable, reasonably priced and highly recommended tour. Our guide, Martina was knowledgeable, engaging and a great communicator. Loved the way that she urged everyone in her group to come closer to view the art works, even if it meant obstructing the view of other parties! If you want to gain a clear and concise understanding of the life and works of Van Gogh, this is a must do tour. You will not be disappointed.

Our tour guide never showed up. Since we purchased tickets through the tour guide, we were unable to get into the museum. I contacted the tour guide through the app for several times and never heard back.
We have used Viator many times in the past this was our first experience., But it was a pretty bad one!
