We purchased our Van Gogh Museum tickets through Trigger Tours via Viator after tickets were unavailable directly from the museum. I accidentally selected the wrong date and emailed Trigger Tours. Within 24 hours, they corrected our order—even with a 7-hour time difference! Very organized, responsive, and professional. Excellent customer service!
Super smooth experience, easy to understand and follow along. Super interesting. You should set aside 3-4 hours for the tour since theres so much to see.
Museum was 100% amazing a have to go experience 5 stars our personal VIP tour was ok at best. She was not an expert and got things wrong that were right there on the placard next to the painting. She took 2 phone calls during the tour. They were short but ... She was also confused by certain paintings having moved she said but she really wasn't prepared. My husband and I spent 5 hours at The Van Gogh Museum… it felt like 30 minutes. The collection and history were curated in such a way that left you feeling like you were back in time with the Van Gogh’s.
This museum is not to be missed. We had just seen many of his pieces in Paris and we were so glad we learned more about his life here.
Our guide was waiting where and as agreed. She was very knowledgable on anything Van Gogh and made the tour a pleasure and educational.
I was able to book last minute tickets to the Van Gogh Museum through this vendor. I had almost given up sinceI could not find available tickets any where for the following day. Until I came upon these. A little steep in price but the museum was well worth it.

The museum is a must when in Amsterdam, so much amazing artwork to see. Get the audio guide so you can learn about the history of the artist.

Museum was amazing, but tickets ( digital and paper versions) could not be scanned at the Museum entrance. The staff said they had been experiencing this problem before with Viator-purchased tickets. They let us in anyway, but it gave me pause for future use of the app.

As explained on your voucher we will send you the tickets manually and your Viator voucher is not the entrance ticket to go inside the museum. We had sent you the tickets of the museum two days before by email, text and WhatsApp.
Very interesting to see and didn't expect to learn this much about the museum, the paintings and the history. Definitely wirth visiting if you are in Amsterdam!
Really enjoyed this Van Gogh Museum tour. It made the visit so much more meaningful than just walking through on our own. The guide did an excellent job explaining the stories behind the paintings and gave a lot of insight into Van Gogh’s life and you could tell he was passionate about the art. Definitely worth doing if you like art.

This tour description says the following are included: “Private tour guide”, “Entrance tickets to the museum”, and “Entry/admission - Van Gogh museum” The tour operator sent a message saying to go inside the museum, not the meeting point in the description. I assumed someone would meet inside. I sent a message asking for clarification, but got no response. I decided to just tour the museum on my own. About 90 minutes later the tour operator sent a message saying that I got what I booked. I responded that was not correct, because the description clearly stated a “private tour guide”. The museum was nice, but I wasted a large amount of money. If I had booked a ticket directly with the museum, I would have saved about $85 ($35 vs $120)! If this is how Trigger Tours operates their business, Viator should reconsider their partnership.
For future travel, I will book directly with the museum.
Did not know we were getting a "private" tour. Ended up having to get out of line to museum to meet guide a block away so we could get in "another special line". We had to go back to original line. Some good information from guide inside museum but could have done it ourselves. Also very costly.

The museum is spectacular! The tour guide for this private tour was on time, new the artworks in detail, and really enjoyed talking about it! I’d you like an Gogh. This is the place to go!!! Highly recommend it!
It's fantastic, but you have to catch the TIKETS in time, if you don't get the ticket for a fortune, like I did.
