We had the wine and cheese option and it was very good. There was a generous portion of cheese and grapes. The guide was very knowledgeable and ready to listen to about the the light festival in Amsterdam. Would definitely do this again

We booked this experience assuming the other passengers had booked the same. However, we were the only passengers on board having the wine and cheese, and everyone else was just staring at us. Some of the other passengers made a joke of it and even poured our wine for us, but it was just a very odd experience.

We had a bad experience from the start the put us on a small boat with a lot of people. We couldn’t hear the tour director. We were the only one served with wine and cheese since we booked that way. We felt very uncomfortable having that since no one was having. We thought we were going to be part of the group who had the same thing. We felt very uncomfortable having it. I am asking for a refund.

We were fortunate that we were the only couple in the boat. Floris and Robbie were delightful, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had lots of laughter and highflying recommend the experience.

Nice tour of the canals in Amsterdam in the evening with Lex. An hour of floating down the canals in our private saloon boat with wine, local cheese, grapes & breadsticks. Lex told us some interesting things about Amsterdam & The Netherlands. Quiet and safe in the electric boat.

Our guide and captain, Pippin, gave us a simply magical tour. The four of us loved the sights, the wine, and the cheese. It was a fantastic first night in Amsterdam. I would highly recommend!

The tour was great and very intimate. Berent was our tour guide and he did an amazing job explaining all the history of the city to us. He provided an excellent explanation of the cheese and wine pairings. My fiancé and I were the only ones on the tour so it made it feel extra personalized. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This trip was nothing like the description or the deceiving picture. It was not a Luxurious Cruise through Historic Amsterdam, the boat was not one of those long glass covered canal cruise boats (like the deceiving pic) and did not have a toilet, it was a dinky old boat that barely fit the six of us. The cheese was on some small shelf in back and not reachable by the group, you could not see through the plastic flaps on the boat which flapped around and let in the cold air. It also went into the main harbor and not through the canals like the other sightseeing boats. The boat owner was nice enough but not a tour guide. Definitely not worth the time or money.

I got lucky with this tour…. I was the only person who booked the 3:30pm tour on a Monday and they didn’t cancel on me, instead gave me an very VIP experience… Yes the tour boat Captain Ronald gave me a solo tour! Weather was perfect and I learned so much about the city and history of the buildings, famous landmarks, and how locals joke about their quirky buildings! We even passed by a movie shooting while on the canal. It made my first time here in Amsterdam an experience I would be raving about whenever asked. THANK YOU!

I gave this experience a 3 because we had a great tour guide and boat captain. Otherwise I would have given it 1 star. I booked this particular cruise based on the photos provided in the reservation. The pictures show a beautiful glass in cased boat and has individual seats with a table to place our cheese board and beverages on. The boat we were placed on was an open aired boat similar to the one in the picture I added with bench seats only No table and no individual seats. Not a big deal for most but I have one arm so holding a cheeseboard and wine glass is very difficult. In addition my daughter has an autoimmune disease so staying out of direct sunlight is a must. Again I booked this particular boat because it has a glass roof to cut the UV she would be exposed too. I was told that the boats in the pictures are used only in the winter. This is very misleading. No where in the tour description or my reservation is this noted.

Michel and his crew were amazing. Honestly, we were in it for the wine and cheese but we had such a great time travelling the canals and learning about the city and its origins.
