Pickup Information! If you are arriving in Akureyri by cruise ship, please ensure you have provided us with the name of your vessel, as there are multiple ports in Akureyri. Tangabryggja Port: Just outside the cruise ship area, you will see several small wooden houses. Star Travel is located at house number 3, and we will meet you there. Oddeyrarbryggja Port: Right outside the ship, you will find an Icewear shop. Next to it is the designated agent area where all tour agents wait for their customers. We will be there with a Star Travel sign. Look for one of our colleagues wearing a bright yellow jacket. If you are staying in Akureyri, please ensure you have selected the correct accommodation for pickup. Lastly, please make sure the phone number you provided is reachable in case we need to contact you with any updates or changes.

Incredible experience! We were the only people booked on, so it was like having a private tour! Our guide took us to all the best viewing spots for photos, gave us time to see things that we wanted to see and finishing the day in the Lagoon was perfect! Would recommend!

Our guide Krista was incredible! Smart, funny and informative. The waterfall was amazing and the forest lagoon was most relaxing.
I would recommend the forest lagoon over the blue lagoon near Reykjavik for sure. Much less crowded much less expensive.

The experience was not as described.
The waterfall allowed 40 minutes
Vaolaheioi Utsynispallur did not happen…
We were dropped at the forest lagoon (but not picked back up).
The falls were beautiful, and the lagoon was great… tour was just not as described.

Overall great value. Driver/guide was excellent, knowledgeable and interesting. The waterfall was beautiful and the Forest Lagoon was super fun!

Great time soaking in the large geothermal pool. Skin felt silky smooth when finished. Lots of people there. Cocktails were good. Enjoyed the hot sauna and cold plunge too. A must do. The waterfall was spectacular but the little flies quite annoying. Some had on a net. Smart…

They were easy to find right outside the cruise terminal. When I messaged them they responded and answered all my questions. We were a full van. The guide was very kind. I wish there was a little more information about Iceland as we were driving. The driver was a good safe driver and I felt safe. We stopped at a waterfall and I wish we had more time. There were two sides and we only had time to see one. If I am ever back in Iceland I would trust and book with this company again. The forest lagoon was also amazing. The drinks were very $$$.

Mr. Reynir was very enthusiastic in guiding this tour for 2 people, stopping at places not included in the itinerary such as: on a high hill overlooking the whole city of Akureyri; at the tunnel through the mountain to see the rest stop like a cave with a capacity of 50 people, and a phone booth to call that was different from Boston; and right in the valley to see the lake and mountains as beautiful as a painting. Now I can only keep it in my memory, because I dropped my phone off in water at Forest Lagoon, which was power off since then, lost all pictures on that day, except this pic from my friend's phone, and 2 souvenir gifts, which I bought at Godafoss. Thanks so much to this Tour Agency for their professional' s performance and spirit, maintaining reputation to host this tour despite only for two Tourists and to Mr. Reynir for an unforgettable memory!!! (because 2 other tours canceled our trip for this designed trip/day)
