Great Wines, amazing drive- Overall day well spent

3 Wineries they take you are family owned and not famous so don’t be discouraged if you don’t go to Caymus or Josh or other known brands. Tour is worth it Bus is clean / Every seat with a charger and comfortable ride. Wineries do try to push you subtly to buy their bottles understandably - most folks were from out of town so due to travel complexity they didn’t buy. Go with a partner you will love it- wine portions are sample Size offered but you ask more every time, by the end everyone in my bus were dozing on way back Home. Sonoma lunch location is also scenic and you will love the greenery in old town.

This is a great laid-back type of day excursion. My group had a great tour guide, Derek, who made the experience really enjoyable as well as allow us to be independent in the type of things we wanted to see at Muir Woods and Sausalito. He gave some great suggestions and allowed us to explore at our own paces which I really appreciated. The Muir Woods was an incredible site, I think if you’re in the Bay Area you must see these trees. It’s truly awe striking.

It was a very nice first experience to napa. A great getaway from Sanfrancisco. Also It was great way to see highlights of the city. It was great not to have to drive. The tour group was small. Sonoma plaza area was really nice. It is a fun place to spend a couple hours. The cheese factory charcuterie was so good. The sandwiches at the butcheman bbq was delicious! We really enjoyed visiting Artesa winery it was a very nice time.

A Fantastic Food Tour!!

This tour was absolutely fantastic! We had a fun filled day with Ryan, our tour guide. We learned so many interesting facts and history about the city-Ryan was energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable about this city. The food tastings were delicious, and plentiful throughout the tour. The tour was well run, we visited many spots, with each well planned and organized. The eateries had seating prepared, and food ready. Thank you, Ryan! You were a wonderful guide, and a perfect ambassador for the city! I would recommend this tour without hesitation. A must- do if you are visiting San Francisco.

Even in the fog..

The boat ride is a comfortable ride with three levels of seatings. I loved the ride and the history of the bay area. We circled Alcatraz Island, went under the Golden Gate Bridge, which was eerie with the fog, but way cool as well, Went past Sausalito and a few other sites. Great time. Eat before you go, there is only chips and candy for purchase on the boat. Everything is closed when you get back so that is important to know, unless In and Out or Applebee's is your jam.

Breathtaking views

Be prepared for amazing sights and a crazy ride up and down the hills. This was truly a fantastic day. The redwoods are simply impressive and so fun to use your pano setting on your phone for amazing shots. The bus ride is informative on many things about the area. The bus ride is wild as hell taking curves on a road that is barely enough for two cars , let alone a tour bus. Sausalito is cute town with some nice eateries. We took the ferry home for some more photo ops and enjoyed that as well.

Boat Tour

Great experience. Price was good. Easy to book and the guides were knowledgable and friendly. Weather was nice and the scenes were amazing. We were able to get some beautiful pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the seals sunbathing on the docks. The historic buildings and shoreline views were also great to see.

My son is disabled we had a wheelchair. Let them know ahead of time there is room in the back. You need to be able to lift chair approximately chest high. For us it is no problem but others may see this as a challenge. We saw & learned so much it was great. DEFINITELY TAKE THIS TOUR!

Great time, perfect for restless kids,windy take coat

Goes fast but just the right time with restless kids. Took my 13&16yr old. Three level boat. Top windy but lots of benches to sit (many non English speaking people tried to reserve a few benches for themselves. We just sat down anyhow and ignored the hand waves). But honestly it doesn’t matter because once the boat starts moving everyone stands and looks around and seats open up. They only sell beer, white claw, pop, and snacks only on the bottom level. The white claws they offered were THE BIG ones. $10. All the levels have bench seats with backs to them. The bottom level and second level is all enclosed seating. The speaking of the history part is all automated by speakers. I found it to be very clear but harder to hear on top deck due to wind. Temp today Sept 1, was 70 ,and my teen boys were chilly up top but I liked it. Most people brought light jackets.The beginning and end was windy but near Alcatraz it got substantially less windy probably due to the terrain. The Boat gets very close to Alcatraz which was cool and made for good pics. At the end I didn’t see anyone taking tips or a tip jar out for tips which was also VERY nice because this town is tip happy. It’s WILD. I would do it again. Great time. We did the 530p tour which made it nice for pics as the sun was coming down

Travelers must redeem their tickets prior to the start of the tour so allot plenty of time for get the tickets and show up 30 minutes before the ferry leaves. The ferry has indoor and outdoor options so everyone can find a place that works for them. Restrooms and snacks are available on the pier, boat, and restrooms are also available on Alcatraz Island. Be prepared to walk up somewhat steep inclines once on the island. There are alternatives for those that truly need assistance. The narrated tour was fabulous along with the view of the cells and various rooms. Visitors are transported back in time to really imagine what it was like at Alcatraz. Definitely recommend this tour! Last thing, dress in layers because it gets really windy on the island. Enjoy!!
