Great taste of North Beach from a true local!
This tour is great! My husband and I have been living part time in San Francisco for over 15 years and we discovered so many new North Beach spots and we will definitely return to them! Our tour guide Brian was spectacular.......he was super conscientious and has such a friendly vibe with both his guests and the hosts of the establishments we visited. Brian even highlighted non-food destinations too....we popped into the San Francis of Assisi chapel and also visited the small local theatre. His knowledge of the North Beach neighborhood and the City of San Francisco is apparent and he is wealth of information on all things San Francisco! Don't hesitate to take this tour if you want a true taste of North Beach. Pro tip: Probably best if you don't eat lunch or dinner on the day of the tour.......lots of wonderful food and very generous portions! Pizza, sandwiches, arancini, fudge, coffee, cannoli--yum!!

Great Food! Will not disappoint!
Jamie was fantastic! He taught our group so much about the different streets of San Francisco and the history behind them. I never expected to learn so much. The food was also amazing! He treated us to so much more than I was expecting, like Boba Tea and Pineapple Bread. All of the food was absolutely delicious,
and he accommodated my food allergies, which I greatly appreciated. I left this tour feeling so full and well taken care of!

Tasty and informative tour
Brian was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and sights, and seemed to love sharing it with us. He had a great sense of humor, and adapted his information to what we were most interested in hearing about. We really appreciate that he did the tour for only three of us, and spent an extra half hour with us. The variety and amount of food was just right.

Learning everywhere we go
We highly recommend a food tour to help discover a new city. The food is always tasty but the true discovery is in learning the street level history of the city and its neighborhoods. This tour was a great example covering all those bases. Our guide knew the the neighborhood well and is deeply committed to it. Lots of great information and good food.

San Francisco-Muir Woods, Sausalito, Alcatraz
Fabulous! Had some difficulty working in all the activities we wanted to get in before having to be back on our cruise ship and they were very helpful arranging an itinerary that worked. Very responsive and good communication. Excursion was great and very well run! All went smoothly and great tour guide!!

Take this tour
Great tour. We saw a lot of San Francisco’s famous sites, stopping every so often for photo ops. I was very happy that we were able to stop at the bridge for photos. Spent just the right amount of time at Muir Woods so we could hike and take in the beauty of nature. We also added the Alcatraz tour, amazing. Our tour guide made the tour extraordinary; he had lots of stories and information about the city.

Muir woods is the best part of the tour
We were picked up outside of our hotel, got to get a free tour of some city sites while on our drive over to Muir.
The woods were beautiful, it was raining out but still breath taking and amazing to see.
The roads to the woods are really winding- so take note if you get car sick easily.
Learned a lot, saw a lot, had a great time

Best day trip to Yosemite ever!!!
We had Sharon as our tour guide and wow. We had the bestest day ever! The most perfect day ever.
Sharon made sure that we had absolutely everything that we needed. From wipes to bottled water and even our personal photographer!!
Sharon went out of her way to make sure that we had the most amazing day for a once in a lifetime experience. I’m so glad that we had Sharon as our guide!
Yes it’s a long day, but we were well looked after and entertained! Sharon has an amazing playlist for the journey in and out of Yosemite which just set the mood from the excitement of arriving, relaxing spectacular view and San Francisco themed songs for our journey back.
We took the trip in a different bus than usual due to some problems that they had with their original vehicle in the past. Roberto, the driver, was excellent, polite, professional and a smooth driver on some crazy roads!
This trip is most definitely worth it. If you get the chance you must take this trip! You will not regret it. Make sure you pack a charging wire (usb) or a power bank as your battery will be drained from taking so many photos!
Thank you so much Sharon! We have made memories to last a lifetime!

The location of meet up...
The location of meet up is wrong. It’s the corner of Powell and Post in Union Square. 333 Post is the other end of the block. Sacks is no longer there.
Thom was an excellent guide. Patient as we hiked up Nob Hill. Answered all our questions. It was just my family so it felt personal.

Bike tour in San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge
Our guide was excellent! Jodi was very knowledgeable and gave our group lots of information and tips. Riding on the Golden Gate Bridge was an amazing experience, but it was so cold and windy. We had lunch in Sausalito and took the ferry back. We had an excellent day.

Great option to walk a few different areas if you are short on time.
This is a great way to see the different areas and neighborhoods if you are short on time, and you get to hop on a trolley! It was also a really good way to learn the history of the city. Britt was very friendly and he knows the history. Unfortunately due to the earthquake and fires in the early 1900’s most of the original city is gone. Britt had nice illustrations to bring it to life for us.

Don’t miss this!
Wow! What a great way to experience the Mission District. Mark was an amazing guide, full of information and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed this itinerary, the history and of course the food. Don’t hesitate to book this if you are looking for a great overview of history, culture and delicious food tastings!

Move over cable cars—San Francisco is a town best explored on foot. The compact city is 7 square miles (18 square kilometers) of dense neighborhoods, historic alleyways, hilltop viewpoints, and urban green spaces. While San Francisco walking tours are great for experiencing the unique character of city neighborhoods—and even a certain world-renowned bridge—they can venture beyond the beaten trails that bus tours rarely tread. They're also often organized around themes such as architecture, hiking, street art, cuisine, history, and even ghosts.
