Magical Muir
⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a great time on our Muir Woods and Sausalito tour! Dustin was our driver and tour guide, and he really made the experience.
He was funny, energetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely entertaining throughout the entire trip. He shared lots of interesting information along the way without ever making it feel like a history lecture, and he paced the day really well. We never felt rushed, but still felt like we got to experience everything we hoped to.
Muir Woods was absolutely beautiful, Sausalito was a wonderful addition to the day, and Dustin’s personality made the whole experience even more memorable.
Four stars and definitely recommend, especially if you get Dustin as your guide!

Trip review
Had a great day exploring Yosemite with our tour guide Kurt who was very knowledgeable on the area.
The initial drive to the park was pretty long but we made a pit stop half way for breakfast, coffee and snacks. On the second half of the journey Kurt played a documentary about the rock climbing revolution at Yosemite which helped pass the time. We then got to spot some rock climbers later in the day!
The park itself was breathtaking, with tunnel view being a personal favourite. Unfortunately there was no/little water at the falls we visited, but that’s a seasonal thing and something I hadn’t considered when initially planning the trip.
Overall this tour is a great way to see most of the Yosemite highlights in a short space of time and I would highly recommend it - and Kurt!

So much good food
Eat lightly for breakfast you are going to eat ALOT of food on the tour. Isabella was a wonderful guide. She had fun ante dotes to share about her life and the people she has met along the way. She had a few surprises for us. Was willing to answer questions. Yes, it is a walking tour but don’t let that discourage you. The area was several blocks with stops for food along the way. I would’t have known to go to some of the places we went to for food. They had vegan options as well. Let your tour guide know.

Super Fun tour and guide! Not to be missed!
LOVED this tour! Tara, our guide, was WONDERFUL in every way possible - ensuring we saw many sites - learned so much about SFO - and her humor kept us laughing throughout the entire tour! She had a great sixties type playlist that was perfect for our very colorful “hippie themed” VW BUS! Tara, has an amazing voice too as she sang a bit of those good ole nostalgic songs! Tara’s small
and exceptionally sweet dog, Rosie, accompanied us on our tour - she’s extremely well behaved and has her own little bed - she enhanced our trip too! What a FUN and memorable way to explore SFO - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for a very fun and informative tour!!

A lovely way to spend a day
If you are travelling on the bus only and not taking the ferry back, there isn’t much time in Sausalito. You will have time for lunch or shopping but you’ll be rushed if you try to do both. It’s a very cute town though and definitely a nice stop.
Muir Woods is absolutely magical. If for nothing else, go for that.
If you cross the bridge in the early morning do consider that it may be hard to see the Golden Gate Bridge from the stop off point because of the fog.
Note that you won’t be dropped back off at the pick up point on Post St after the tour, but at Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s a good opportunity to spend time on the wharf, or take the cable car back into town though.
Thank you to our tour guide Michelle and driver Jack for a lovely day out!

San Francisco tour and much more
SF excursions was fantastic. The owner was over the top helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Life long resident and a pleasure all around. At one point a guest lost their shoe out of the Van and the owner turned the van around and located the shoe. Great guy, great experience.

Unique way to see San Francisco
Unique way to see San Francisco. If you are coming from a country that drives on the other side of the road you're in for a treat. Our GPS was playing up and we missed Lombard Street but they were more than happy for us to go back out for free to drive down it. We did it on a Saturday and the traffic was pretty bad. 3 hours was tight and we couldn't see the painted ladies in our allotted time.

Such a fun experience!
This is an amazing tour! Josh is funny, kind, knowledgeable and a fantastic photographer. He and his wife started this company and now have 7 vehicles in the flock. We got to tour with Daisy and had an absolute blast. If you want to see some iconic SF spots in a short amount of time- this is the way to do. Josh also gave great advice and other places to check out after.

Great Wines, amazing drive- Overall day well spent
3 Wineries they take you are family owned and not famous so don’t be discouraged if you don’t go to Caymus or Josh or other known brands.
Tour is worth it
Bus is clean / Every seat with a charger and comfortable ride.
Wineries do try to push you subtly to buy their bottles understandably - most folks were from out of town so due to travel complexity they didn’t buy.
Go with a partner you will love it- wine portions are sample
Size offered but you ask more every time, by the end everyone in my bus were dozing on way back
Home.
Sonoma lunch location is also scenic and you will love the greenery in old town.

Yosemite
This was not only my very first solo trip, but my first across the country. Johanna made the entire trip so enjoyable and I learned so much from her guidance throughout the day. Even made some new friends in our hiking group. I can’t wait to come back for a two day tour.

Great time, perfect for restless kids, windy take coat
Goes fast but just the right time with restless kids. Took my 13&16yr old. Three level boat. Top windy but lots of benches to sit (many non English speaking people tried to reserve a few benches for themselves. We just sat down anyhow and ignored the hand waves). But honestly it doesn’t matter because once the boat starts moving everyone stands and looks around and seats open up. They only sell beer, white claw, pop, and snacks only on the bottom level. The white claws they offered were THE BIG ones. $10. All the levels have bench seats with backs to them. The bottom level and second level is all enclosed seating. The speaking of the history part is all automated by speakers. I found it to be very clear but harder to hear on top deck due to wind. Temp today Sept 1, was 70 ,and my teen boys were chilly up top but I liked it. Most people brought light jackets. The beginning and end was windy but near Alcatraz it got substantially less windy probably due to the terrain. The Boat gets very close to Alcatraz which was cool and made for good pics. At the end I didn’t see anyone taking tips or a tip jar out for tips which was also VERY nice because this town is tip happy. It’s WILD. I would do it again. Great time. We did the 530p tour which made it nice for pics as the sun was coming down

Incredible experience & sail!!!
What an incredible experience from start to finish! Crew and boat were amazing! Equipped with knowledge and jackets if we got chilly during the ride + a bar (bonus!!). We actually got to participate in raising the sail which was a bucket list activity for me! Pictures/sights & views were unreal- SF cityscape, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz & wildlife!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Of all the San Francisco bus tours, the “love” tours that zip around the city from the Painted Ladies Victorian homes to the Twin Peaks viewpoint in Volkswagen vans might be the most fun. If these offbeat treks are a bit granola for you, other bus tours are convenient for exploring the city and surrounding areas in comfort. Hop-on hop-off bus tours offer ultimate flexibility and freedom, while guided coach tours travel to Muir Woods and even as far as Yosemite National Park and the Monterey and Carmel area.
