Experience was incredible. I wasn’t sure what to expect with booking a tour (usually prefer to discover on my own) but this was exceptional. Our tour guide Elisa was as warm, knowledgeable and caring as it could get - have to give her credit - she made the tour as special as it was. Wonderful experience

Go book your tour and come back to this review. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our tour and were greeted by smiling faces who seem to truly enjoy what they do. The tour started by asking everyone where they from and then some guidelines to follow were also provided (proper attire and etiquette for the holy spaces). We learned so much during our 3 hour tour, and we have to specifically thank Fred for sharing his knowledge and encouraging the group to ask questions. I also appreciate how he kept a pace that wasn’t overwhelming for the tourists using mobility devices. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide Fred for a top-tier experience. This is our first visit to Rome and we’re grateful to have taken this tour and learned so much. Recommend you book in advance, bring your water bottle and wear your comfy shoes. Also charge your phone and bring your power banks for recharging.

Colosseum and Forum morning

This is a must do tour while in Rome. Would not have known half of what I was looking at both the Colosseum and the Forum. Our guide Alessandro was passionate about Rome which was fun. He provided a good deal of information and moved at a good speed throughout the tour. Lots of history in this tour and I now have a better understanding of Roman life connected to these two places.

The Trastevere food walking tour was a highlight of our time in Rome! Our guide Amin was fun, friendly, and shared interesting information about the area and food we were eating. The tour was easily walkable with some stops to sit, eat, and use the bathroom while others were standing to eat street food. The food was all delicious!!! We were absolutely stuffed… burrata, suppli, porchetta sandwich, apertifs, two pasta dishes, gelato, wine, beer, prosecco… wow what a night of eating! The size of the group was perfect as well, an intimate family style tour off 10-12 of us.

Fun ride on beautiful cart!

Our guide, Arianna was wonderful and we had such a beautiful car that others were taking pictures and videos of us! My only complaint would be that visitors should be aware that a golf cart through cobblestone roads is a very bumpy ride so if you have motion sickness, this wouldn't' be a good excursion. Its a great excursion to do when you arrive somewhere so you get a great overview and then you can go to individual sites as you wish for a longer time.

This tour was amazing, highly recommend. Cathy’s knowledge of Ancient Rome and all the sites we visited was incredible and so engaging. Her expertise was fantastic ensuring we accessed areas faster as well as visiting additional areas. I think anyone that...

I think anyone that DOESN’T use a guided tour of the Pantheon and Coliseum is doing it wrong. There is just too much to know and see to do it without an expert. The tour was well structured, the guide was very knowledgeable - and we definitely got the full experience without feeling rushed or like we missed out. Walking tours are my favorite for getting true value out of a historic place (vs. a singular sight/cool vantage point such as a mountain or a canyon). This one definitely didn’t let me down and I recommend it to everyone that intends to visit Rome. One thing I’d note for those who use Viator and go on different tours is to look at your options in relation to the premium spots/restricted areas. We did not have direct access to the underground portion or the top of the coliseum (which I believe is relatively new to being open to the public). I think those would’ve been amazing too but they were booked well in advance and we didn’t get the chance to jump into one of those groups. Enjoy!
