Highly recommend!! A beautiful museum. One note though - we paid extra for the audio guide. Even though we chose to do the extensive audio guide tour, the extra money was not worth the audio guide. Most of what's on the audio guide tour is already written on the walls. There's no need to pay extra for the audio guide tour. Aside from that, the experience was absolutely perfect. We love Van Gogh.

Just do it!

This tour is definitely 3 hours on foot. That being said I loved every single thing I tried. As a foodie I appreciated all the local tastings without having to wait on those long lines. Leo was a great host and kept the energy lively. Unfortunately 2 travelers had to sit it out near the end because the cobble streets got the best of them. I honestly don't think I would've had the courage to try everything we had Independently with all those tourist traps serving mediocre food. After the tour was over I planned to return to a few of the locations to purchase items again. I think this was a great value for the amount paid and Leo gave us a cultural tour as well pointing out several little things we would have never known on our own.

Amazing time in Netherlands

The experience was amazing. The places we went were the best and the guide Pía was super knowledgeable and very friendly. She was so nice to take picture of us and give us recommendations. My only issue was with the lady holding the blue umbrella. She was very rude. I think she should be more friendly especially dealing with tourists.

Only way to see Amsterdam on the canals

Cruising along the canals of Amsterdam, relaxing, educational, and enjoyable. Best way to see the hustle and bustle from the comfort of a boat. Our Guide/Capitan was experienced in the canals and you could tell from pulling the boat around the tight corners, all while telling us stories and making sure we were getting the most out of the journey. Great cruise especially at night time.

Canal cruise was very enjoyable. The host/guide who also handled all the refreshments did a great job providing information and assuring the drinks and cheese were plentiful. Doing the cruise at night and seeing all the bridges lite up was spectacular. It was well worth it.

A lovely 90-minute...

A lovely 90-minute orientation tour around the canals of Amsterdam, including fun and informal narration by our experienced boat captain, Albert, as well as lots of drinks and snacks along the way. Albert has lived in the city since University and is full of stories about how the city has grown and changed over time, and in particular, over the last several decades. Our boat trip covered a ton of ground, including the neighborhoods around the Grachtengodel, along the Amstel river, the Oosterdok area around the NEMO science museum and the Scheepvaartmuseum, and the canals that run through the old Jewish Quarter and along the zoo. It was a wonderful introduction to the city and a lovely perspective on how Amsterdam has grown and changed over time.

The rain couldn’t slow us down!

Abel was fantastic! We absolutely loved this 2 hour canal ride. Absolutely the best! It was raining and when Abel pulled up to dock in the classiest boat with a clear cover, I knew it was going to be the BEST tour. He gave a wonderful explanation of all the wine, beer and beverage choices. Lots of fun history and facts.
