A Must-Do in Reykjavik! Incredible food and the best guide.
If you are looking for the ultimate culinary experience in Iceland, the Reykjavik Food Walk is an absolute must! Our guide, Aaron, was incredible. He has the perfect personality for a tour guide, engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about sharing Icelandic culture. He made the entire group feel welcome and kept the energy high from start to finish. The food selection was perfectly curated to give a true taste of the country. We had the opportunity to try a fantastic variety of local staples, including horse, tender lamb, incredibly fresh fish, and yes, even the infamous fermented shark! Of course, we also got to try the ever-popular Icelandic hot dog, which totally lived up to the hype. What really impressed our group was the attention to dietary needs; the vegetarian options provided were absolutely amazing, meaning no one felt like they were missing out on the experience. The logistics of the tour were just as good as the food. Every restaurant and eatery we visited had great vibes and a welcoming atmosphere. The pacing was excellent, and the distance walked between stops was very manageable, making it a comfortable stroll rather than an exhausting hike. I cannot recommend this foodie adventure enough. Come hungry!!!

South Coast is a Must See
It's totally worthwhile to join a smaller group tour to see amazing sights that you wouldn't even know exists driving miles of moss-covered lava fields. The waterfall is unique as you can walk behind it and feel the power. You can also walk quite close to the glacier. Definitely walk closer to rhe cave to find more to see. A nice pace even though it's a 10 hour tour due to the driving distance.

Astonishing Guide who MADE this tour!
WOW! JUST WOW! While the farm and waterfall were lovely, We have literally been on thousands of tours in over 120 countries, and have never experienced a better guide than Tomas! He is clever, informative and real, has a phenomenal working knowledge and understanding of history, culture, arts and geological and life science, as these apply to his homeland Iceland, and the their relationship to the rest of the world, and a magical way of conveying this information in a fun way, which makes one want to lean in and listen carefully. His conversational and hysterically funny way of storytelling, while being both the guide and driver is astonishing. Having just been on a couple other similar tours with both a driver and guide, Tomas deserves 10x their pay, based on the value he has provided to all his guests! We can’t recommend anyone more highly and if I were booking this tour, I would specifically ask to be on his bus, you will not regret it!

Bliss by the Sea
I went to the Blue Lagoon about 11 years ago and it was huge then. This time my BFF and I decided to try the closer and more intimate experience at Sky Lagoon and couldn't have been more pleased with the evening! Intimate, well set out, beautiful view of the harbor and setting sun, fun 7 step spa option (we skipped the cold plunge) and ability to enter and exit the Lagoon in a warm protective way to avoid the shock of warm wet skin meeting cold ambient air temperature. Food and drinks there are not cheap. But the experience was unforgettable.

Picture yourself scaling a glacier, standing beneath a roaring waterfall, soaking in a geothermal pool surrounded by lava fields, horseback riding on a black-sand beach, and basking in the ethereal glow of the northern lights. All of this is possible in otherworldly Iceland. This small island packs a big punch in the outdoor adventure department, but you can also find Iceland tours that immerse you in the vibrant culture of Reykjavik and culinary excursions that let you sample traditional food. So, whether you want to snorkel between continents or sip a local brew, Iceland tours will show you how.
