This is a great way to see the Portland Waterfront and especially the bridges of Portland. The trip was wonderful in a well fitted intimate boat with the knowledgeable Captain Dominic. Our party of six brought our own picnic and had a memorable private trip on the Willamette River. We saw a quiet wooded backwater upstream and US navy ships downstream after passing under 5 historic drawbridges.

When in Bridge City take the Bridge Tour. Also, take time to read that this is a BYIOB trip. Bring food and or drinks and sit back and enjoy the wildlife and the extremely impressive details on each bridge. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, you just can’t beat that.

Excellent evening river cruise in Portland

My son and I had an excellent experience on the evening cruise along Portland’s Willamette River. Our young guy captain did a first-rate job of connecting with every passenger and creating a fun, relaxed and interesting time for every. He was strikingly knowledgeable - especially for someone who admitted he’d been in Oregon less than a year - about the detailed history of the area, each bridge we encountered and facts about local industry. A definite recommendation for any traveler seeking a pleasant and informative 2-hour Portland river experience.

Exceeded Expectations

This tour far exceeded my expectations! The day of our tour had 100% chance of rain so I really figured we were likely to be a bit miserable. Captain Nate had heated blankets for us to sit on, warm waterproof blankets for our laps and all the rain flaps on in addition to the roof on the boat. We were absolutely warm and comfortable. Nate was a wealth of knowledge, teaching us all about the local bridges and wildlife. We even got to see a bald eagle. I would 100% recommend this company for a great way to see Portland!

Great for a Family Outing

This venue is great for a family. Similar to taking a carriage ride … but obviously on water. Our guide Dominic was extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Portland and its history. We even got a good view of some sea lions. Congrats on the wedding engagement Dominic. 👍

Lovely Tume on River

A lovely time on the river in covered (pontoon style?) boat. Nice seating. We took our own snacks. 5:00 PM tour in summer sunset is prolly 7 or 7:30. If you want to see the sunset and city lights go later. It was bright and clear our whole trip and didn’t rain. Would do it again.

It was a very nice experience. It was a private tour, which I wasn't aware of but I still enjoyed it! Captain Charles is very knowledgeable and safety conscious. He made me feel at ease by answering any questions I had. I truly enjoyed my cruise. Very nice way to end my vacation!!!

Captain Nate was lovely. We truly enjoyed our cruise with him. He’s very flexible with the route to customize your enjoyment. Nate has great knowledge of the area and architecture that we really appreciated. This is a wonderful way to spend the evening when family are visiting.

We had a great time on our boat tour! Captain Charles was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see a lot of the river, SO MANY bridges, and even some bald eagles. It was a very relaxing and pleasant evening and we’d love to tour with this company again!
