WHEN WILL I BE PICKED UP (TOUR PICKUP TIME)? Please be in the lobby of your hotel (or the default pickup location) 30 minutes BEFORE the official start time of the tour. Pickup will be sometime BETWEEN 8:30 & 9:00am. • Example: if the official tour start time is 9:00am, please be in lobby at 8:30am. Pickup will be sometime BETWEEN 8:30 & 9:00am. • Please keep an eye out for our TOUR VEHICLE (usually a white 12-passenger high-roof Ford Transit tour van) or possibly a smaller mini van or SUV in rare instances. • DEFAULT PICKUP LOCATION TIMING: If you are being picked up at our general default pickup location South Waterfront Park ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201, you will usually be picked up within a 30 minute window before the official start time of the tour, as per your confirmation e-mail and/or your confirmation cell phone text from your guide (sent out the night before the tour, or the morning of the tour if it’s a late booking). • It is necessary to check, read & respond to ALL texts and e-mails for specific tour pickup details right up to tour departure time so please keep an eye on your phone the morning of the tour. Thanks! WHERE WILL I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF? • OPTION #1) HOTEL PICKUP - Most guests are picked up at their hotel, which they can choose from the dropdown list while checking out online during the booking process - full hotel list can also be found on Infinite Oregon Tours' F.A.Q.'s (Frequently Asked Questions) section on our website. In addition to our default pickup location (see option #2 below), we offer pick-ups at approximately 40+ hotels within the downtown area and on the East side of the Willamette river near the Convention Center. The default pickup location listed below (option 2) is ALWAYS available to ALL guests for ALL tours. • OPTION #2) DEFAULT PICKUP LOCATION: SOUTH WATERFRONT PARK ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. Our central (default) location for pick-ups and drop-offs is in South Waterfront Park at the intersection of SW River Dr. and SW Montgomery St, with the exact pick-up location being on the north side of the traffic round-about circle along the pedestrian walkway adjacent to Riverplace Marina. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SELECT A HOTEL? - If you do NOT communicate or select your specific hotel when you make your reservation we will assume we will be picking you up at our default pickup location. ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify us (during the booking checkout process) if they are staying at one of our pickup hotels. Please email us at infiniteoregontours@gmail.com or wait for your confirmation text from your guide the night before your tour if you have any further questions (guides can answer pickup questions) and will text you usually before 8:00pm the night before your tour. Thanks! TOUR VEHICLE (VAN): Your tour vehicle will most likely be a white high-roof Ford Transit 13-passenger van or a mini-van or SUV in some cases (which we'll communicate to you the night before via text from your guide). Your guide will be wearing a big smile and will probably have a clipboard in his or her hand. PARKING: If you are driving your own vehicle to the default pickup location, there is a public parking garage called THE DOUGLAS GARAGE available just a block or so away at: 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. There are several other parking garages within about a 5-10 minute walk if needed. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND/OR BRING ON THE TOUR? Due to the unpredictable and ever-changing weather in this area, we strongly suggest that you check the upcoming forecast for the locations you will be visiting the morning of the tour. By doing so, you will be able to better prepare, bringing extra layers, rain gear and appropriate footwear as needed. For tours involving short walks/hikes, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and layered outerwear that can be easily applied or removed during the outing. It’s worthy of note that the Oregon Coast is often 15-30 degrees cooler than temperatures in Portland (even in the summer). Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge in fall, winter or early spring can also require warm winter jackets or rain jackets (gloves & warm hats are always a good idea too!). Bottom line is it’s always a good idea to bring a jacket in Oregon regardless of season. CAN I BRING A BAG? A small day pack (very small backpack), camera bag, purse or tote bag are fine in the van as long as they can fit by your feet, but we cannot accommodate large suitcases as there is no luggage space or trunk in the tour van. Please call us before the tour if you have any questions. Depending on the group size for PRIVATE TOURS we CAN accommodate large suitcases (which will be placed in some of the passenger seating areas). COFFEE & RESTROOM (toilet) at default pickup location: There is a small coffee and pastry shop called "Our Spot PDX" (1816 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201) on the west side of SW River Dr. (on the side closest to the river) as well as a public restroom next to the coffee shop for your convenience. If you arrive very early with enough time for breakfast or want to explore the riverfront, there is also a charming cafe called "The Little River Cafe" (315 S Montgomery St #310) approximately a 2-minute walk north along the pedestrian walkway along the Willamette River. Please still be ready at the default pickup stop 30 minutes BEFORE official tour departure time. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Portland is lucky to enjoy a wonderful public transportation system called TriMet that utilizes 3 forms of transport: public buses, street cars and a high speed light rail system called MAX. You can go directly to their TRIP PLANNER WEBSITE or download their app to your smartphone and it’s very easy to navigate around the city. Our general default tour pick-up location South Waterfront Park is a 3-minute walk from the nearest public bus stop, a 6-minute walk from the nearest streetcar stop and a 10-minute walk from the nearest MAX (lighttrail) station. Many guests choose to utilize Lyft or Uber to arrive at the general pickup location as it's the easiest and fastest and time can be of the essence in the morning before your tour departs. For further questions, please consult our FAQ's link on our website or send us an email or call our office for further questions. Thanks and happy touring! CANCELLATION POLICY: If a guest cancels 24 hours BEFORE the tour departure time they will receive a full 100% refund. If a guest cancels a tour LESS THAN 24 hours from the tour departure time the guest will not receive a refund, but we will do our best to accommodate the guest on a future tour of equal or lesser value, depending upon availability. If we (Infinite Oregon Tours) need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, road closures, high winds, unforeseen safety circumstances or otherwise, the guest will receive a full 100% refund. Please email us or call us if you have any questions. Thank you!

Learning is FUN on The Oregon Coast!

    Valerie_L, May 2026
Our tour guides were super friendly and knowledgeable! They gave us so much information on Oregon! The sites were breathtakingly beautiful! I loved the contrast of the forest hills to the sandy beaches! My favorite was the forest bath on the last stop! It felt other worldly in an incredible way!

    Oregon Coast tour from Portland

    David_B, May 2026
Great tour of the Oregon coast from Portland. Our guide had lots to say about the area, including geology, weather, and history.

Great tour to see the Oregon coast!

    Shaakira_N, May 2026
I booked this tour at the last minute instead of spending the day at Cannon Beach and I’m glad I did. Michael was the guide and he was so attentive in creating a personalized experience for everyone. He shared a lot of information about each site and was prompt. I would definitely recommend him and this tour to anyone!

    AMAZING tour! Book it!

    Shanell_B, May 2026
This tour exceeded all expectations! Michael our tour guide, did a great job showing Portland hospitality! We had a full van, he remembered everyone’s names and made everyone feel included. He definitely made our trip to Portland better than we could have imagined, giving us all of the Oregon costal lore along the way! Don’t hesitate, book this tour!

Great tour of the Oregon Coast!

    William_S, May 2026
Had a great tour with Michael. We saw all the beauty that the Oregon Coast has to offer and then some. It was great to be picked up at our hotel and to head out to the coast. We learned lots of great information before taking in all the views. Michael was a wealth of knowledge and made sure that we were able to take advantage of low tide and even see some hard to spot Elk. The town of Cannon Beach was a great stop and we enjoyed being able to get out and explore. Michael catered the tour to the needs of the group and ensured everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend .

    Take this tour!

    Awesome seaside adventure

    Joanne_O, May 2026
What a great experience! Nicole and Riley did a fabulous job narrating our trip and bring us to some amazing spots. Outs have loved a little more time at some of the spots but I also understand that we had a lot of ground to cover. The bus is also very nice—the high ceilings are great. Thank you!

    A must see!

    Kimberly_S, May 2026
The tour was amazing and the guides were very knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely do it again!

Best tour I’ve been on with the best guides!

    Megan_J, May 2026
Out of all the cities and countries I’ve visited and gone on tours in, this is by far the best tour I have been on (and it was the perfect way to spend my birthday). Rylie and Nicole were amazing guides that made everyone feel incredibly welcome and right at home. Their knowledge of Oregon, its history, and its nature is outstanding. It’s obvious they’ve spent a lot of time learning about and experiencing Oregon and its beauty. All of their stories were very engaging and they guided us every step of the way on each stop. My favorite part was the in-depth lesson on Oregon’s plants and their benefits and traditional purposes by an indigenous group. I truly couldn’t have asked for better guides and for a better tour. I hope everyone gets them as their guides!

    Perfect for solo travelers!

    Julia_N, May 2026
Wow! Adam, our guide, was one of the best I’ve had. Full of knowledge, funny, and engaging. I was hooked on all the info he provided and was never bored. We had a wonderful, gorgeous day exploring the Oregon Coast and I would 100% do this tour again. Worth every penny.

    Epic

    Mia_G, May 2026
Epic experience. Beyond gorgeous views. Very knowledgeable tour guides. It wasn't rushed either. I'm booking with then again on a different tour. I highly recommend this company!

    Perfectly organized beautiful adventure

    Lisa_P, Apr 2026
Your only responsibility is to enjoy the scenery! The drive to the coast was pretty, the overlooks, beaches, and the walks and rides between were awesome, majestic, and inspiring. Everything from fun, informative narration to restroom breaks and stop-off timing was orchestrated commendably by our enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly guide Colten. Truly the highlight of my visit to Portland and an experience that I could never have crafted on my own. I’m forever grateful.

I travelled solo in a small group of mixed travellers, a wonderful experience. The locations were well selected and drop off and pick up far better than you could achieve alone. The tour guide was truly excellent, his local knowledge and commentary brought the whole experience to life and he answered every question, even the scientific ones with ease.

    A must do tour!

    Chantele_W, Apr 2026
Such an amazing tour! Colten was an incredible tour guide and great person overall. Very knowledgeable of the area. 20/10 highly recommend.

It was such a nice experience and so worthy. Actually inspiring us to take tours like this in future travels instead driving by ourselves. Our tour guide Rylie is so knowledgeable and professional, and we had great time!

    5-star tour in every sense!!!

    Ping_K, Apr 2026
Really lucky to have super knowledgeable & entertaining Riley as my group's tour guide/driver. Best use of my short time in Portland, with convenient pickup & dropoff at my hotel, and great information + side tidbits about all the places we visited. Lots of short easy hikes to INCREASINGLY STUNNING views of Oregon beaches and/or through gorgeous old-growth PNW rainforests!!! Big bonus to see so many Roosevelt Elks up close as well!!!

    Amazing tour!

    HAZEL_G, Apr 2026
Jim was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about Portland, the coast, and everything in between, which made the whole experience so much more meaningful. The Oregon coast is breath taking, so beautiful and we were so lucky to have amazing weather! On top of that, Jim was kind, friendly, funny, and professional the entire time. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. I can’t wait to come back and take another one of his tours. Thank you so much, Jim & Infinite Oregon Tours!

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Chris was great, personable, and gave suggestions on what to do at each stop. Enough time to take pictures, short hike, see wildlife. Ride was a bit bumpy in the back.

    Captivating Coastal Shorelines with Chris

    Peggy, Apr 2026
Chris was my guide. He contacted me the day before confirming the time and place for starting our tour. I was traveling alone so I appreciate the pickup at my hotel. He introduced each and everyone on the tour by name. Chris shared a wealth of knowledge on the drive out to the Coast. He shared history of the land, Portland nicknames, and an overview of our day. Chris gave an overview before each stop. Great selection of restaurants to enjoy for our lunch. This tour was well planned for time at each location. The views of The Coast were magnificent. We were fortunate to see some Puffins and elk. This was the highlight of my trip to Portland.

The Best of The Northwest Pacific

Beautiful beaches. Great guide - Chris is an amazing guide. Easy going. Lots of knowledge about area.

    Coast tour was great.

    Virginia_G, Apr 2026
Jim and Nicole made this Oregon Coast tour easily the highlight of my trip. They know the coast inside out and keep the whole day smooth, interesting, and actually fun—not the usual scripted tour vibe. The pacing was dialed in: no rushing, no wasted time, just the right mix of viewpoints, stops, and local insight. You can tell they care about the experience, not just running through a checklist. If you’re debating whether it’s worth it—this is the part of the trip you’ll remember.

Amazing experience. Perfect in every sense of the word.

This tour was such an amazing experience. The van was spacious and comfortable. The snacks and water hit the spot. Special shout out to our guide Jim. He promptly gave us pickup instructions the day prior and warmly greeted us like seeing a couple of old friends. The scenery was world class. The history and stories Jim shared with us were the most insightful. He also gave us recommendations for more things to do and more restaurants to sample. It truly enhanced our first encounter experience with this beautiful city.

    Amazing!
