The Undiscovered Charleston Cooking Tour with Chef Forrest was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and prepared fresh right in front of us, which made the experience feel so personal and special.
What really sets this tour apart is how Chef Forrest combines Charleston’s history with the food he prepares. The historical tour ties directly into the dishes, so you’re not just tasting incredible food—you’re learning the stories, culture, and history behind it.
Chef Forrest was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about both Charleston and its cuisine. This was so much more than a cooking tour; it was a wonderful combination of history, storytelling, and an unforgettable meal.
Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Charleston. Highly recommend!

History, Food & Fun All in One Tour!
We had an amazing time on the Downtown Charleston Brunch Walking Tour! Our guide, Perry, was outstanding.....knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely entertaining from start to finish. He shared so much fascinating history, architecture, and local food knowledge that we learned something new at every stop.
The food tastings were excellent, with generous portions and a great variety. By the end of the tour, we left with full bellies and a much greater appreciation for Charleston's history and culinary scene.
If you're visiting Charleston, this tour is absolutely worth your time. Ask for Perry if you can.....you won't be disappointed!

Great food, tour, and guide.
Our tour guide was awesome! She went above and beyond telling us about all of the history in the area. She accommodated our dietary needs and was very friendly. All of the food was delicious with a variety of choices that reflected the history of Charleston. It was a great time. Make sure you bring water. This place is HOT..
