Alexandra was amazing,...
Alexandra was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. We walked at a comfortable pace and got to see all the points of interest, both walking and using public transportation. We stopped for a coffee break, for lunch, and of course, for as many pictures as we wanted - no need for selfies; she was our personal photographer. She’s one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had.

This tour was outstanding. Peter was knowlegable, flexible and interesting guide.y husband and I greatly enjoyed him. We would recommend this private tour as a wonderful way to learn about Budapest and spend several enjoyable hours. Hats off to Viator also as I originally booked this tour on our travel day. They quickly contacted the company and were able to switch it to the day we intended. Viator and Peter will take good care of you.

This tour was great. John...
This tour was great. John was an excellent guide. He is very knowledgable about the history and culture of Budapest. It is a perfect way to get around to all the top sights. Good information is provided and the open vehicle works well for viewing and for taking pictures. We would highly recommend it.

A nice night on the Danube River.
We planned the experience months in advance, showed up early and were given an assigned table by the window. The staff was all very friendly and polite. Everything was well organized for a nice 2 1/2 hour trip. There were numerous choices for appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. The roasted trout and brownie dessert were SO good! The live music consisted of a guitarist and two (a male and female) singers- they did a great job! Everything was perfect- a very nice night on the Danube River! Highly recommend!

Beauty is at every turn in Budapest, whether you’re strolling through the Hungarian capital’s historic streets or sailing along the Danube River that splits the city in two. Budapest tours make it easy to see many of the city’s highlights with a guide, whether by bus, boat, e-scooter, Segway, or even tuk-tuk. Some focus on history, while others offer a deep dive into the city’s rich culinary heritage. Budapest is also a great base for taking trips into the surrounding countryside for a bit of wine tasting.
