This was an absolutely...

This was an absolutely fantastic tour of the castles and area. We took this tour just a few days before Christmas, so it was cold and there was some weather on the way up the mountain. We definitely wouldn't have felt comfortable navigating the roads on our own in those conditions. My daughter gets car sick and very nervous, but she was perfectly comfortable the entire time. The guide and driver made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of time and insight into the places we were visiting. Neuschwanstien was breathtaking, especially with the snow that was falling by the time we got up there. On the way home, our guides has snacks ready and we were all ready to get back to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this tour to others, especially if you are traveling in the winter. We were certainly glad we did!

Mat was fantastic! He knew a lot of history and took time to thoroughly explain things. We had a great time considering the gravity of the site we were visiting. I found this tour very interesting, while sobering and heavy at the same time. I think everyone should experience this tour in order to truly understand what people went through at the camps.

Such a fun day!

This tour is awesome! We had such a great day on the alpine coaster, eating a delicious lunch and touring the castle! Each stop was well-timed and our tour guide, Tyler, kept things historical and interesting. Eva was a great driver, too. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great Castle Tour

It was a fantastic experience, Linderhof Castle was amazing... far exceeded expectations. The tour is physically demanding... we ended up walking around 6 miles. The hike up to Neuschwanstein Castle is a fair hike... you can take a shuttle or horse carriage as an alternative up to the castle. Our guide was A+... very imformative... very funny and entertaining. Also the driver was A+ as well... great tour all the way around and would highly recommend.

Our tour guide was Elisabeth, she was excellent! The view from the Eagles Nest was beautiful! Berchtesgaden was a beautiful small town. We enjoyed having free time. Self-guided tour of the bunker was an additional surprise. It was highly informative. Overall great tour and would recommend it to anyone.

This is the best tour you will find to these locations

The VIP tour was worth every penny. Courtney was interesting and full of helpful hints. The snacks and free beer at the end were most welcome. Take her advice and take the bus to Mary’s Bridge then walk downhill to the castle. Walk all the way back to the village after the tour. It’s a brutal uphill walk to get back to the bus for a return trip. We loved this excursion- every stop was well planned out and perfectly executed.

Lucia is an exceptional guide!

Fabulous tour & great value! Please know there is travel via pubic transit…both city bus & train. The train does make a number of stops along the route. Our guide made it a smooth travel experience both there & back. Our guide was Lucia & she was delightful! She shared history and architectural details and offered excellent budget sensible ideas of places to eat & what to do and what to skip. She spoke clearly and loud enough and was so friendly & personable. She was easy to follow through the busy areas and ensured we felt guided but could still make the trip our own. It was a great day in Salzburg!

I think doing a food tour...

I think doing a food tour is one of the better ways to experience an unknown city. We have made it a point to do such a tour on the first/second day of arrival to a new place and have always had great experiences, including this one. They allow a great introduction to the city, stress-free trying of new/different foods and we generally come away with helpful recommendations for things to do around the city. Our guide for the Munich tour was Adam Joachim and we enjoyed our time with him. He was knowledgeable, easy to chat with and the tour never felt rushed. I would recommend doing this food tour.

Exceptional day tour to castles

Our day trip to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof was a wonderful experience for the teenagers to the grandmother in our party. Sandro, our guide, was exceptional - we learned so much about the history of the beautiful area - his enthusiasm, energy and organization made our tour easy and relaxing.
