The exterior is impressive but nothing extraordinary compared to other European cathedrals. The inside is exceptional and the climb to the dome is well worh the extra money and steps for the view alone.

The basilica was amazing, however, a service was taking place while we were there so that limited our ability to fully explore the church. I wish we would have known and I would have picked a different time. The dome was amazing though with incredible views of the city.

Enjoy being fit take the stairs and the lift down.
The view 360 degrees from the terrace is great of the whole city.

A fast and worthwhile experience to spend 30 minutes. We did not do the tower. It was not crowded on a late Monday afternoon.

Excellent tour , the tour is only of the Basilica, you are left to tour the Treasury and overlook on your own , Tour operator spoke perfect English !

Barbara, our tour guide, was excellent. She was very knowledgable and able to answer all our questions. However, the ticket process was complicated. There was little no description as to where we were meeting and whom to meet. The information and tickets personnel were not helpful nor friendly.

Vivi was so lovely. She had lots to tell us and the church was so beautiful! I can’t believe all the pictures on the ceiling of the dome were actually mosaic not paintings!! Gorgeous views of the city from up top too well worth it if you are not scared of heights! Thankful for the elevators too!

Viewing area not available from the lift access , so had to access via lots of steps, not ideal for older or disabled people.

Beautiful Basilica and great tour by Veronica, she was at the place we were suppose to meet and very informative. The treasury was a bit underwhelming, but the view from the top is awesome, AND there is an elevator!! May have to wait your turn, but beats the winding stairs.

According to the app, I was instructed to go inside the office to redeem my ticket and then wait for a guide at a designated location near the Basilica. However, when I arrived at the office, I was told to go back outside and wait for a guide who would provide the tickets.
As the scheduled tour time approached, there was no guide present. I called the office and was informed that the guide would be approximately 10 minutes late. After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no sign of anyone, I returned to the ticket office. At that point, I was told that another guide was on the way and that we would need to wait an additional 20 minutes.
This experience was a bit frustrating and felt like a waste of both time and money. Due to the delays and lack of organization, I did not receive the full guided experience that I had paid for.
I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and consider offering some form of compensation.

St Stephen’s Basilica was spectacular!! It’s a must see while in Budapest. We used the Hop on / Hop off bus to get there, and it was an easy, pleasant stroll

I purchase tickets on my Mac which a different email address from my iPhone. I only had the reference number. I contacted viator 24/7 Service, and my received the reply and the tickets code almost immediately! Loved it! THANK YOU! My problem became a pleasant experience!

The Basilica is BEAUTIFUL! I would definitely recommend this activity.
Getting the tickets was easy. The ticket office is located right by the Basilica and getting the hard copy tickets was easy.
