Great Food and history
Led by our amazing guide Bobby, born and raised in the North End, we were able to explore some wonderful restaurants. Of particular note was Antico Forno. Pizza and Pasta was amazing. The history of the North End is so interesting and Bobby was very informative. Would highly recommend this tour.

Simply the best!
This was a really great walking tour with Chris who was highly educated and a fantastic history buff. Our guide made this tour so memorable with his many ancedotes about the founding fathers of our nation and some our earliest history of the revolution.

Outstanding tour of Boston foods
The food tour was absolutely fantastic! Every stop offered something delicious and unique, and the whole experience was fun, relaxed, and incredibly well organized. Our guide Marilyn was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more enjoyable with great stories and local insights. I loved discovering new flavors and hidden gems along the way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves good food and great experiences!

Fab Freedom Trail Tour
My wife and I are from Australia so our knowledge of Boston’s history wasn’t that vast.
Our guide Mikayla was a fantastic tour guide. Her knowledge about the history of Boston was vast and it was matched by her enthusiasm for the subject matter. She provided a balanced account of the history of the city and separated myth from reality which was refreshing.
I highly recommend the tour and more importantly Mikayla as the tour guide.

The best tour in Boston
We just made it to the last tour, which is at 6:30 pm in the summer. I have a feeling that either a co-owner or somebody that had a lot of seniority in the company was giving us the tour. It was phenomenal. I forget his name, but he is Irish and has an Italian wife, and the jokes were just out of this world and clean. Now remember this is 6:30 PM last tour of the day, and this guy didn’t rush it; rather, he gave us an extra hour almost of Boston. Every side street, every address, every intersection, he had a story for it. He had historical facts that I thought might be made up, but once I checked, he actually knew more history than most tour guys I’ve met. The boat captain was also amazing. Very calm, content, easygoing, even let my daughter drive the boat. When I handed them a tip, they refused; that’s what led me to think that he was probably a co-owner or even the owner, and the fact that he extended the tour by almost an hour. If you are in Boston, this place is a must-do. I’ve done it already twice, and both times were spectacular. And both times, twice different as well.

Super Fun
Much fun. The guide (Meredith) was enthusiastic and humorous. Basically make a lap around the stadium and learn the history of Fenway. Trivia fun facts. Wish we had had a little more time to view their small museum. Lots of steps, so be ready. No problem for us, but just know that. It was fun. Glad we did it.

Best way to see and understand Boston's history
I chose this particular Freedom Trail tour because of all the 5* reviews and it did not disappoint! Mark's knowledge and explanation of the history, the sites and all the background was fantastic and kept our whole family, including the teenagers, gripped the whole time. When we asked our 19 and 17 year olds what their favourite part of the tour was they both said Mark. As well as the information Mark shared with us he was thoughtful in considering stopping in the shade to talk to us and even brought water bottles to share. We're so glad we chose to spend our first day in Boston with Mark.

Fun and different, yet highly enjoyable.
This was a great tour. Our guide was incredibly informative and pretty amusing. I will stress that this is a politically incorrect tour. So pay attention to the description. If you are easily offended by language you should probably choose something else. But I thought it was great. The food was good. Completely different from a previous food tour we went on in the North End a few year’s earlier.

Ben Deserves a Medal of Liberty
If Ben leading the charge, the British would’ve surrendered before dawn!
Ben was an outstanding tour guide engaging, entertaining, and completely committed to his character from the moment the tour began. His storytelling brought Revolutionary Boston to life, making history feel less like a lesson and more like stepping back into the 1700s. Every tale was told with passion, humor, and just the right amount of drama to keep our entire family captivated.
This tour was worth every penny, and my family and I enjoyed every single minute. If you’re looking for a guide who can rally a crowd better than the Sons of Liberty, Ben is your patriot. Five stars without hesitation!

Boston's 250th Freedom Trail Tour
I like the fact that the company has their tour guide represent a person in our colonial history and then, speak about the character's history.
Elaina, a.k.a., Mother Goose, was early to greet the tour guests and readily showed enthusiasm for the job and tour. We valued the fact that Elaina was truly a Boston native and enjoyed listening to her personal story as it tied into the tour. The history that she provided at the various stops was not only informative but fascinating. Clearly, her experiences and former jobs in the theater arts lends itself well to being a tour guide that needs to present a lot of historical information and background to the tour guests.
I strongly recommend using this tour company for your Freedom Trail Tour. Elaina, thank you for being such a GREAT tour guide!!!

Freedom tour with kids
I would highly recommend this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and a history teacher who was very good at keeping our kids (9&13) engaged. He kept a good pace and stopped frequently in shady spots. He lots of interesting details but drone on like some of the other guides we encountered. The 90 minute tour with 11 stops was really a perfect length for us, but if you wanted to see the other 5
sites, the guide gave advice on how to get to those on your own. If you are looking for a shorter version to do with your kids, I recommend this one!

Great Tour!
We did the 10:30 am Freedom Trail tour with Ashley on Tuesday, July 14. She told us she was from the Monterey Bay area of California, but she hosted us like a true Bostonian. I have been on dozens of historical city walking tours, but I think this is the first review I’ve ever submitted. Her knowledge of history and local culture was truly impressive. I am a college history professor in California, and I naturally assumed she was a professor, too, working this as a summer gig for fun. But she said she was not in any other classroom other than our tour. The amount and the depth of her knowledge was extraordinary, and she had us laughing hard with her “cold Samuel Adams” and “codnappers” stories. She is top notch, we will recommend her and this tour to friends, and when we come back, we will ask her to lead us again. Thank you!
