If you are looking to take in the beauty of Sedona, this is a great way to do it. The vehicle was very rugged and easily handled the rough terrain. Our guide, CK, was knowledgeable, personable, and he gave us great insight into all the things that make Sedona special.

CK was our guide and he was great!! The scenery was amazing and learned a lot about the geology and local plants and animals that are native to the area. The ride is quite bumpy but not too uncomfortable.

This rough and rugged Jeep tour is a wonderful Sedona adventure ! Our guide Chris was amazing, knowledgeable and fun- he enthusiastically shared his insights on history, geography, and culture of Sedona, even UFO’s! Quite an interesting ride and short hike with incredible views- a memorable experience indeed!!

Our guide, Chris, did a great job. We loved his stories. Wear lots of sunscreen! It was an adventure.

It was fun going off road. We got to see deeper into Sedona than just hiking. The sunset was beautiful and we got to take great pictures. Highly recommended for the young at heart but not for folks with bad backs.
Janet_Z, Jun 2026
Adam was our driver and guide. He gave us an informative and entertaining tour of the Sedona back country, along with an exciting jeep ride. It was our first day - just the introduction we needed!

What a fantastic excursion! Our guide Avery was phenomenal- so knowledgeable, professional and fun!!!! He made this trip terrific!! Highly recommend this excursion - be sure to ask for Avery!!!!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Sounds like Avery earned a few fans on that one. The Rugged Western Canyons tour is all about getting out where most visitors never go, and having a guide who can make it fun along the way makes all the difference. Thanks for exploring Sedona with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours and for the recommendation.

We had a great trip! Our guide Patrick was knowledgeable, personable and gave a great tour. Scenery was beautiful and we had opportunities for great photos.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Beautiful scenery and great photo stops are exactly what that tour is known for. Glad Patrick helped make it such a memorable day out in the red rocks. Thanks for spending part of your Sedona adventure with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.

This tour was not only fun but extremely interesting - it was so much fun to ride through some tough terrain in the tour Jeep. CK was outstanding as our tour guide for 3 hours. The views were phenomenal and we thoroughly enjoyed CK’s knowledge about the vegetations and terrain. Highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Three hours goes by pretty fast when you’re bouncing through the backcountry. The Rugged Western Canyons tour is a great way to see a side of Sedona most visitors never get to experience. Glad CK helped make it such a memorable adventure. Thanks for riding with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.

Easy way to see the Red Rocks. Ben, our host, was very knowledgeable of the area and it was fun to listen to the history as well as learn about additional things to do while we were out there.

Incredible experience!! I’d highly recommend, very unique location and our guide was wonderful. We learned so much history about the region as well!
berlthomashotmailcom, May 2026
It was a lot of fun. Good for families. You get to ride in back of Modified jeep gladiator. CK was a great driver. Described the sights, vegetation, geography, weather, wildlife…
Patricia_M, May 2026
Brad was an excellent commentator and trail guide. If you want great pictures, especially of the canyons glowing from the sunset you must take this adventure!! However if you have any back problems I wouldn't recommend due to how bumpy it is.
Dana_V, May 2026
We loved the off roading through the Sedona trails, seeing the vegetation, wildlife, beautiful mountain ranges. We went 4 wheel drive over rough terrain and it was awesome. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun ! Highly recommend this group for a great adventure!!
Annie_O, May 2026
Cowboy Bob lead such a phenomenal trip! He was so knowledgeable and kind, really a gem and a great guide. I loved going at sunset and seeing the rocks change colors. We went on the outlaw tour and was told by another attendee that this tour was mild compared to the other he was on earlier in the morning. Wow did the trip get rugged, it was a blast though!! Cowboy Bob was great at taking photos of us or stopping during the drive for us to snap photos. He would teach us things along the way about the mountains and the Indians. When we were stopped at photo ops he would take that opportunity to teach us as well! My only tip would be to have a speaker in the back as well, I think I might have missed some facts because the wind was loud on the drive and cowboy Bob was trying to point out some mountain formations. That’s my only pointer, everything else was amazing! Thank you again cowboy Bob!!!

Great tour guide, Doc was full of information about the location, floral, and local history. Did the 8 am tour which was perfect. No traffic, wide open spaces. Beautiful views!
Barbara_E, Apr 2026
Enjoyed the tour and Cowboy Bob's stories. Do expect a very bumpy ride, a little more than we were expecting.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thanks for coming out on the Sedona Outlaw Trail with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours. Outlaw is the extended version of our Outback Tour, and that last half hour is where the extra bumps really kick in. We do outline the terrain differences in our tour descriptions so guests can choose the ride that best fits them. If you’re back in Sedona and want the scenic route without the added rough section, Outback might be the better fit next time.

JC was the guide for our group and he shared a lot of great historical and geological information about the area. Especially of the native people who lived in the area over 700 years ago. At one of the last stops he even showed us a vortex spot and we all got to feel the energy (electromagnetic fields). It was all very well done! I took the 4pm tour and with the sind it got cold fast, but the your company provides blankets and the jeep has heaters under the seats! Definitely bring a warm jacket!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Late afternoon Outlaw rides can sneak up on you with that temperature drop. Glad the blankets and heaters came in clutch. Sounds like you got the full mix of history, geology, and a vortex stop, which is what makes this Sedona jeep tour stand out. Thanks for getting out there with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.
Richard_H, Apr 2026
The Outlaw Trail tour was a great way to experience the beauty of Sedona. Our guide Brad was excellent - he discussed the history, science and legend around this special place. The jeep was comfortable (though bumpy at times) and fun. Three hours was a perfect amount of time.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Sounds like you hit the sweet spot with that one. A few bumps, a lot of views, and just enough time to take it all in. Glad it all came together on your Sedona jeep tour. Thanks for getting out there with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.
Susan_W, Apr 2026
Hang on for an adventure!! This was so much fun but you truly have to hang on as you could get bounced out of the vehicle. I would do it again as we got to see wildlife and new views of the landscape. Pictures from this afternoon adventure hang on my wall. Great memories!
jodi_l, Apr 2026
He was super informative. It was amazing. The views were beautiful. He even was able to stop and show us some really interesting things. Hearing about the area from someone who grew up, there is second to none.
Michael_M, Apr 2026
This tour takes you to places inaccessible to most people. The drive is extremely bumpy and not for the faint of heart. Our tour guide, David, did an exceptional job describing the history, plant life, etc. The scenery was gorgeous and there were no crouds to deal with.
Shawn_B, Apr 2026
Cowboy Bob was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide! The outlaw trail / tour was beautiful and Bob knew the trail and history like the back of his hand as he grew up in the area and worked these same trails and canyons in his younger cowboy days! Highly entertaining and great tour. Trail was a little bumpy in areas but Bob handled it like a champ!
Victoria_B, Apr 2026
The best tours of anything and anyplace are done by people who truly love their job. Doc loves Arizona and his job. Fun and informative. Three hours went quickly! We learned about and saw parts of Sedona we wouldn’t have seen without this tour.
