Absolutely fantastic tour! The views were incredible and the stories/information that went along with it was quite entertaining. Our guide, JC, seemed to really enjoy sharing with us. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Plus it’s a local business.

We loved the off roading through the Sedona trails, seeing the vegetation, wildlife, beautiful mountain ranges. We went 4 wheel drive over rough terrain and it was awesome. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun ! Highly recommend this group for a great adventure!!

Cowboy Bob lead such a phenomenal trip! He was so knowledgeable and kind, really a gem and a great guide. I loved going at sunset and seeing the rocks change colors. We went on the outlaw tour and was told by another attendee that this tour was mild compared to the other he was on earlier in the morning. Wow did the trip get rugged, it was a blast though!! Cowboy Bob was great at taking photos of us or stopping during the drive for us to snap photos. He would teach us things along the way about the mountains and the Indians. When we were stopped at photo ops he would take that opportunity to teach us as well! My only tip would be to have a speaker in the back as well, I think I might have missed some facts because the wind was loud on the drive and cowboy Bob was trying to point out some mountain formations. That’s my only pointer, everything else was amazing! Thank you again cowboy Bob!!!

Great tour guide, Doc was full of information about the location, floral, and local history. Did the 8 am tour which was perfect. No traffic, wide open spaces. Beautiful views!

Enjoyed the tour and Cowboy Bob's stories. Do expect a very bumpy ride, a little more than we were expecting.

Thanks for coming out on the Sedona Outlaw Trail with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours. Outlaw is the extended version of our Outback Tour, and that last half hour is where the extra bumps really kick in. We do outline the terrain differences in our tour descriptions so guests can choose the ride that best fits them. If you’re back in Sedona and want the scenic route without the added rough section, Outback might be the better fit next time.

JC was the guide for our group and he shared a lot of great historical and geological information about the area. Especially of the native people who lived in the area over 700 years ago. At one of the last stops he even showed us a vortex spot and we all got to feel the energy (electromagnetic fields). It was all very well done! I took the 4pm tour and with the sind it got cold fast, but the your company provides blankets and the jeep has heaters under the seats! Definitely bring a warm jacket!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Late afternoon Outlaw rides can sneak up on you with that temperature drop. Glad the blankets and heaters came in clutch. Sounds like you got the full mix of history, geology, and a vortex stop, which is what makes this Sedona jeep tour stand out. Thanks for getting out there with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.

The Outlaw Trail tour was a great way to experience the beauty of Sedona. Our guide Brad was excellent - he discussed the history, science and legend around this special place. The jeep was comfortable (though bumpy at times) and fun. Three hours was a perfect amount of time.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Sounds like you hit the sweet spot with that one. A few bumps, a lot of views, and just enough time to take it all in. Glad it all came together on your Sedona jeep tour. Thanks for getting out there with Arizona Safari Jeep Tours.

Hang on for an adventure!! This was so much fun but you truly have to hang on as you could get bounced out of the vehicle. I would do it again as we got to see wildlife and new views of the landscape. Pictures from this afternoon adventure hang on my wall. Great memories!

He was super informative. It was amazing. The views were beautiful. He even was able to stop and show us some really interesting things. Hearing about the area from someone who grew up, there is second to none.
Michael_M, Apr 2026
This tour takes you to places inaccessible to most people. The drive is extremely bumpy and not for the faint of heart. Our tour guide, David, did an exceptional job describing the history, plant life, etc. The scenery was gorgeous and there were no crouds to deal with.
Shawn_B, Apr 2026
Cowboy Bob was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide! The outlaw trail / tour was beautiful and Bob knew the trail and history like the back of his hand as he grew up in the area and worked these same trails and canyons in his younger cowboy days! Highly entertaining and great tour. Trail was a little bumpy in areas but Bob handled it like a champ!

The best tours of anything and anyplace are done by people who truly love their job. Doc loves Arizona and his job. Fun and informative. Three hours went quickly! We learned about and saw parts of Sedona we wouldn’t have seen without this tour.
Nathalie_V, Apr 2026
This was a great tour! Our guide Bob was both entertaining and informative. The views we saw on the 4 pm tour were spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wear warm clothes on 4 pm outing. THE DRIVER/guide was knowledgeable, friendly and outing. It was evident JV enjoyed what he was doing and loved the area.

We had such a great time on our tour. Brad, our guide (a fellow New Englander!), was incredibly informative and engaging. He made the ride fun and filled it with interesting details about the area. The views were amazing, and the whole experience was even better than we expected. Truly something everyone can enjoy. Book your tour - you won't regret it.

Very bumpy and dusty. At times, we were all by ourselves - perfect to get away from the crowds in Sedona. At other moments, we were eating the dust of other jeep tours - at one point, there were 4 other jeeps and their guests at the same spot. So much for getting away… Driver David was capable and pleasant; the group was congenial, and scenery spectacular, especially as the sun was setting. It was difficult to hear the driver when the jeep was moving - possibly a second speaker might help? Overall, I would have been happier to stay on the dirt roads, rather than the rocky trails. Checked it off the bucket list- won’t do it again.

Great tour. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and humorous!
Excellent background and history of the Sedona area, including supernatural events!!
Would definitely recommend for all ages.

Very informative. Brad was amazing. Learned a ton and had a great time. Beautiful pictures and views.
Renee_H, Mar 2026
This could not have been a worse experience. I would have given it a zero if that was an option. We didn’t see a single living creature in 3 hours, and the tour company seemed to think that bumping around a pitted, dusty gravel road in a large rattling jeep in 88 degree temperatures would be fun. What a complete waste of time and money. It would have been so enjoyable to learn about the natural habitat and original inhabitants; get close to the magnificent rock structures, caves, crevices and arches; and at least learn about the (mostly) nocturnal animals that we had virtually no chance of seeing on a hot afternoon in the middle of the desert with tons of other jeeps and 4-wheelers zipping around the area.
Another complaint pertains to our guide. While he was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable enough, he’s only lived and worked in Sedona for 7 months. That’s not the extensive experience provided by other jeep tour companies (based on Viator descriptions). And, he engaged 1 member of our group with non-stop conversations that went on and on and on throughout our “adventure” that had nothing to do with our tour. It was not only incredibly boring for everyone else, but forced us to interrupt to ask questions about what we occasionally saw on our trip.
And, finally, I am very frustrated with Viator’s cross-promotion of “other tours you might like” when original tours of interest have no availability. BUYER BEWARE of almost identical tour company names and locations when they have nothing in common!
Donna_T, Mar 2026
Super friendly staff. Chris was our tour guide and he was very informative and knowledgeable about the area. We had to rebook our first tour due to an accident, and the company was excellent in allowing us to rebook. Great company! We would definitely rebookvwith this company for another tour.
Carol_P, Mar 2026
We had the best time on this Jeep tour. The AZ Safari Jeep company does a fantastic job and our guide Brad made this Outlaw tour so fun, educational and something we will always remember. I highly recommend this Jeep tour company if your visiting Sedona.

It was fantastic. JC was our guide. He was fantastic. He never acted like he was rushed. Highly recommend JC and this company. Our jeeps were very clean and well maintained
Dena_K, Mar 2026
It was a great trip! Very scenic views, plus some wildlife! The echo in the canyon was our favorite part! Bob was an awesome guide!
Judi_W, Mar 2026
Beautiful scenery, very rugged terrain so expect bumpy ride! Tour guide Vivian was fantastic and knowledgeable!
Jim_H, Mar 2026
Spent an entertaining and informative 3 hours with our tour guide Vivian on the Sedona Outlaw Trail. In addition to the glorious scenery, Vivian was the perfect host to introduce and inform us on the past and recent human history, biology and geology of the area. Highly recommend.
Paula_H, Mar 2026
This was an outstanding experience. JC our guide was knowledgeable, fun and careful. I learned a lot about the history of the area both ancient and recent. Highly recommend taking this tour.
Judd_K, Mar 2026
Great experience in the outlaw trail! JC was a great driver/guide. Very knowledgeable and fun to listen to.
This can be a bit of a rough ride in spots so definitely need to be prepared to rock and roll in the jeep.
Louis_L, Mar 2026
Chris was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, articulate, and informative! Highly recommend him! Locally owned company that caters to you.
