Fantastic Guide Costas and tour of Acropolis and Museum

Costas is an amazing tour guide with a deep knowledge of the history of Ancient Greece. (I think he said he has a master's degree in archeology.) We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with him and highly recommend it. As 60-somethings, we had some concerns about how strenuous the climb would be up to the Acropolis, but Costas did a great job of taking us from one shady spot to another as we made the climb, and while we stood in the shade to rest, he told us more about the place. He did a great job at keeping the group together and moving us around a very busy site and he was very attentive to the group's needs. He also had a notebook of pictures and illustrations that he showed us throughout the tour to help us understand what these ancient sites may have actually looked like in their heyday. We learned so much about the Acropolis, and he also took us through the Acropolis Museum (this is an option you can choose - I highly recommend adding this to your tour). His comments throughout the museum were insightful and interesting. We booked the 8 am tour in June, and it was already pretty warm up there at that time of day. Going to the museum afterward was nice, because we had a chance to cool off in the air conditioning. This tour uses the whispers (audio ear pieces), which made it very easy to hear him. He recommended a place for lunch nearby called Opos Palia, and the food was great and inexpensive.

Great tour and good variety of Greek food

We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it if you want to learn about the various staple foods in Greece. The guide was very informative and took us to several different places. Make sure you arrive hungry - there is a LOT of food! At the end of the tour, we had full-sized gyro sandwiches, and then we ate loukamades - delicious donut holes filled with cream and drizzled with Nutella. SOOOO good! We found loukamades another day too - yum! Great tour!

Our tour guide Andy was exceptional…he checked in a day before to give us an update of what to expect and confirmed the pick up time. He was very knowledgeable of the Greek history. He made us feel very relaxed. He also took us by a restaurant I wanted to visit later to get an ideal of where it was located and how far it was from our hotel. We provide snacks and drinks and directions on how to get to the different places once at the site. Andy also sent a follow message to make sure we were settled and if we needed help with anything else.

I highly recommend this...

I highly recommend this two hour tour. It was a great length and our guide (Lida) was very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone in the group. Both my teenage children and 80 year old parents enjoyed the experience and were able to make the trek up the hill, without any issues. We paused in the shade multiple times while our guide explained the history of what we were looking at in that specific location.

We had an amazing time on...

We had an amazing time on this catamaran tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The crew was incredibly friendly, helpful, and entertaining, making everyone feel welcome from the moment we boarded. The swimming and snorkeling stops were fantastic. The water was a stunning shade of blue, and we were able to see fish swimming beneath us, which made for a memorable experience. The food on board was also excellent, with a generous spread that included chicken, beef sausages, pasta, and local wine. One thing that really stood out was the atmosphere. The other guests were friendly and social, and we enjoyed chatting with people throughout the trip. The sunset at the end of the tour was absolutely breathtaking and worth the trip on its own. We also appreciated the convenient hotel pickup and drop-off service, especially since we were staying on the other side of the island. Most importantly, it was a wonderful experience to share with my son and created memories we’ll both remember for years to come. Highly recommended!

Jordan was a great guide with deep historical knowledge. He provided great detail and interesting information on all the monuments. He also gave us insight into how Greek culture today is influenced by the ancient Greeks. He also provided us a tour of the museum and his explanation of all the panels on the Parthenon was outstanding.

The company Spiridakos...

The company Spiridakos did an excellent job with this tour. We used the transfer service and that was very nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The staff on the boat and captain were all very kind and professional. The boat itself was cry luxurious and comfortable. The BBQ was fresh and delicious. This was all around a perfect tour with an ideal itinerary. I highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour

Stephanos was wonderful and gave us so much information about Athens, the history, the people, and the lifestyle. We talked about so much. He was an excellent driver and his enthusiasm made the tour so interesting. We enjoyed the changing of the guards and all the details Stephanis shared with us throughout the day. The Acropolis was very crowded. We would caution people going there that the marble can be slippery and the steps can be steep. For some older visitors it can be a fall risk. The site is roped off so you are still at a distance from the ancient sites.

Perfect Day!

Such a fun (albeit WINDY!) day on the sea! We are family of 4 (parents + 8 year old twins) and the crew was so kind and accommodating. I know not everyone is thrilled when kids are on board, and the crew was fanatic (as well as the other guests!). Don’t hesitate to book this tour. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, the food was great, and it was a perfect day!

Frosso was amazing. This was my second time doing this tour 4 years later and it has changed enhanced so much!!!
