Tricky to rate this. Delphi itself was fantastic, very interesting and beautiful scenery. Just don’t book this specific trip.
The group size was far too big, it was a full regular sized coach. While in the museum, which is very small, the whole group could not see what the guide was talking about and most of us were having to wait to see the exhibit then ushered on quickly. We therefore didn’t really get to see anything in there.
As for the sight, we were only given 20 minutes free time which isn’t enough to appreciate it fully.
The guide was knowledgeable and knew her stuff, but she explained everything like it was a history lesson, didn’t make it interesting, fun or interactive.
The trip is advertised as an air conditioned coach. However the guide explained she hates the cold and had it switched off. Several customers asked for it to be put on as it was so hot, she put it on for 20 minutes then had it switched off again despite our requests.
If you do book this trip then I suggest you don’t book the lunch. It was average but by the time we ate we had no time to look around the town. There are plenty of places to get food yourselves.
Museum was awesome. The guide explained a lot of facts at the ruins. It was a long bus ride with a short rest stop. Arachova a is a tiny town where we had lunch but not enough time in the town. Did not like the food at all at the choice with our tickets.
Everything was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and personable guide who kept us right on schedule. The bus was very clean and comfortable and the bus driver was great
Exciting experience, everyone was on time and our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful too. We traveled end of September/beginning of October time period and Delphi was a mix of partial sun, light rain, and (very) light snow flurries which even our guide was astonished at. Would recommend keeping an eye on weather in autumn. The hike up to the stadium above the site does only take 10 min but is a straight shot upwards so be prepared if you plan to go up.
This was an excellent day trip! It was well organized and ran so smoothly. Our guide Margarita was fabulous! She made the history come alive with stories and information. I loved this trip!

It was a long drive from Athens to the Temple of Delphi but it was well worth it for the experience. Margarita was very knowledgeable and led us through the archeological museum and then through the ruins of Delphi. Lovely lunch afterwards in a nearby town. It was a terrific day and we find the people who go on these tours are so nice and interesting coming from all over the world.

This excursion was ok. Our host, Nancy was knowledgeable and did her best given the circumstances. Unfortunately it was a "free day" for the citizens of Greece which was great for them but not the best for our group of 47. It was very crowded. It seems reasonable that either we should receive a discount or they should not schedule excursions on "free days".

Great trip to Delphi. Was very well run. I had booked lunch with this particular tour but if we did that again we would do something separate for lunch as the food was not that good.

Excellent day and an excellent tour. The host was knowledgeable and entertaining with lots of very interesting insights to Greece, its myths and Delphi.
We took up the lunch option which was most enjoyable and saved trying to find somewhere else to dine.
It was a long day but well worth it.

It is definitely worth having a driver from Athens, and the day is structured very well. The rest stop on the way up had delicious pastries and it was fun to see a bit of the countryside on the way to Delphi. The historical site was interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable, plus it was nice to have a few minutes to explore and grab pictures on our own after the guided portion. The walk at the site is steep and there are several slippery smoothed rocks, but is doable and the tour moves at a very manageable pace for those who might struggle. The stop in Arachova is GORGEOUS and the perfect place to stroll about - nearly every street is picturesque. We did not get lunch and packed small sandwiches for the ride home, but this was a stunning town to grab a gelato on a sunny day. Especially after walking/hiking a bit in the sun. Bring sunscreen and a hat!

Wear comfortable shoes, the walk around Delphi is uneven and a little steep in places.
The meal was ok.
Nice stop off for loo break and refreshments.
Our tour guide was excellent (Jo) she was knowledgeable, funny, very approachable and professional.

We had Vangelis as a guide. He was attentive, extremely knowledgeable and interested in knowing about the group. He encouraged questions and shared the information with everyone. We could only see the highlights of the museum and the archeological site due to timing but, Vangelis was so good in his descriptions we never felt we missed too much. We got a really good overview and additional details about Delphi and he brought to life how the site would have looked in its prime. He clearly loved the topic and history in general.

Delphi is a must-see in Greece. While the statues and most of the structures are gone, the setting and remains are spectacular. Our guide, Kiki, was excellent and handled the disruptions of crowds, heavy rain, and a temporary closure of the archaeological site with grace, perseverance, and creativity. It all made for an exceptional experience!

We had a fantastic time during our Delphi tour. The guide had a lot of knowledge about greek history and mythology, and did handle things very well when a storm caused the site to close for a little while as we were about to go in. In the end we managed to visit the site with barely any people around due to the temporary closure and then we had plenty of time to walk through the charming little town Arachova. The views from Delphi are simply amazing, and the archaeological site is magnificient. Highly recommend!

Overall the tour was good. The guide was professional and informative, the bus was clean and comfortable, and there was enough time on each site (both museum and archeological sites) to fully enjoy it. Several things to note: It's quite far. You spend almost 3 hours each way on the bus, while the actual visit takes around 2.5 hours. It is a big bus tour so the group is pretty big. I would recommend this tour only to those who are really interested in Ancient Greece. For me, after spending 3 days in Athens touring the Acropolis, Agora, and Archeological Museum, it was a nice addition but considering you spend the whole day on this tour maybe it's not a must unless you're a history buff. I would suggest to avoid the option which includes lunch. It limits you to one specific set menu in a specific restaurant. While there is nothing wrong with the quality of the food, and there are some options to choose from, I have to say it was a very mediocre meal and probably the worst from my whole week of holidays in Greece. Opting for your own lunch is much better idea.

We enjoyed this trip to Delphi. It was a hot day, but we were able to walk from place to place up the side of the hill and stopped in the shade. Our guide was knowledgeable and told us all the history of Delphi and the town of Arachova. We enjoyed the lunch that was included with the package we purchased. Good food with large portions.

This tour to Delphi was fabulous. Our guide Angela was very informative and engaging. The museum and site are very good. The stories/legends are entertaining and the location of the site up in the mountains makes it specular. It is a long day, but worth it.

I absolutely loved this experience. It was my first day in Greece and was picked up in a great bus with aircon. We stopped at a station were there was a great cafe and gift shop then continued to the museum and ruins which was just spectacular, followed by optional lunch which was also fantastic. I would do this tour again! Long full day but absolutely worth it!

The itinerary was very good. Our guide Bernie was amazing. Would probably had been great with another guide too. But he made it perfect. Lunch was amazing. We added lunch in the spot ala carte and were accommodated easily. Arochova was also a highlight. I thought it would be boring but was amazing

It’s was a long day but we had a wonderful guide and enjoyed the experience immensely.
We had the tour with lunch and the restaurant did a great job of providing a quick and efficient lunch.
Lunch was a little later than we normally eat in North America. Lunch was as well 330 pm and I recommend planning accordingly.
The tour included a stop on the way to and a stop on the way from Delphi.
The bus was comfortable and our guide was very informative.

It is well organised and worth the long period on the coach. The trip out we were kept entertained with information on the way back we were able to nap. The coach was comfortable, no toilets but stops were planned to ensure comfort.
The scenery there and back was stunning.
The tour of the museum was great, it would have been nice to have been a smaller group as the rooms were small. Without the tour guide it would not have been as interesting. We felt we would have liked more time at Delphi maybe even just 30 minutes.
We were a little disappointed by the lunch and would prefer to have bought our own.

Guide was blah and boring . Nice person but lacked oomph . No jokes very matter of a fact .
Experience was okay nothing special .
Something to see once but would not go on this particular tour again .

Regarding pricing, we would like to clarify that there is no such price difference between equivalent options across platforms. You booked the option without entrance tickets and lunch, which cannot be directly compared with the all-inclusive option on another platform, which includes both tickets and lunch and is therefore priced accordingly. We always recommend checking the inclusions when comparing rates across platforms.

We had a scorching hot day at Delphi seeing the well-kept Temple of Apollo! Our guide was great at answering our questions along with keeping us all wrangled together and safe.
My only tip: Don't eat at the taverna that the tour goes to for lunch, it is so overpriced and very average. If you walk a bit further down the road you'll have more options!

Very good, thorough tour with an expert guide. Seeing the countryside on the way to the site is a plus. Delphi site and museum are memories that will last a lifetime. As is typical with tours in Greece, there are a lot of steps and uneven pavement. Views are amazing. I recommend adding the lunch to your itinerary. Having lunch, which was very good, in incredibly picturesque Arachova was an unexpected bonus.
