Great walking tour of Munich with Ozzy. This was far more than a walking tour, as Ozzy provided a comprehensive understanding of Munich culture, history, and politics. We did the tour on our first full day in Munich and it definitely gave us more appreciation for things we saw and observed during the rest of our vacation. The tour did last about 4.5 hours so I would plan your schedule accordingly.

Ozzie was our tour guide for an immersive Munich city walking tour — way worthy of our time and attention. With over 20 years of experience, he's incredibly knowledgeable. When I come back, I'll look for his tour again.
He's the kind of person who tells you directly, "these are the facts," and lets you consider everything discussed as you like and at your own tolerance. No hiding, no spin — just the facts. We had a great lunch at the Viktualienmarkt, drank some beer, walked, talked, and listened. Everyone liked him.
He even helped our fellow travelers who'd run into a problem with their rental car — he called the rental place on their behalf and got it solved. Yes, he really did. Impressive.

We did not have a good experience at the beginning because the meeting point that you designate was in the back alley a small hotel lobby, which took us a long time to find and we missed the beginning. I would suggest that the meeting points to be at a obvious business joint such as McDonald right outside the entry gate to the real beginning point of the walking tour

We learned so much about Munich and Bavaria from our wonderful tour guide, Ozzie! We highly recommend this tour. Be prepared to learn about Munich’s history, culture, economics, geography, religion, politics, food, entertainment, and more. And wear comfortable walking shoes!

Ozzy is about the best tour guide we ever experienced after many years with Viator. He is funny, informative and thorough, explaining culture, history and subtleties of the Bavarians.

This is definitely the worst tour I have ever gone on. The tour guide was too over confident talking about his beliefs. We only visited 5 buildings or sites in over 3 1/2 hours. Most people on our tour lost interest. You could not even ask a question as he would talk over you. Sorry for being negative but I only had 2 days in Munich and this wasted a lot of this time.

Ozzie, our guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable and gave an interesting back history on every cite we saw! He was also very funny! We usually explore a new city with a hop on hop off bus but this was SO much better and I think less money!! He brought us places that only an insider would know, told us where we should visit afterwards and even told us the best ways to get to other sites!

Ozzy was an excellent tour guide. It was an education of Munich. Over the four hours, we learned much about Munich. It is a conservative city that does not want to be changed. It is a Catholic city with a working class population. The people of Munich are Bavarians, not Germans. Needless to say, it was an interesting tour.

I am in two minds about this tour. I really liked Oz and he clearly knows his stuff (and speaks loudly and clearly), and he was very helpful as I needed to catch a train to the airport. However, I think it was the wrong tour for me. I wanted to see more sights and be told about them. I saw five things and we spent a lot of time listening to info on Bavaria and Munich. Really interesting but as I only had the morning before flying out I probably should have chosen a different tour - if you do this tour and then have time to explore afterwards it’ll work for you. The only thing to note is that it is not 3h15 as advertised. I had to leave part way through the tour to catch a train as the tour was going on for another hour or so past the advertised duration.
